Messaging and Warnings
Refi: Hey there. Sorry my attendance online is dwindling; working is really taking a lot out of me. And then there’s issues on who gets the computer and I can only go online at night. So I’ll try to be brief and I will try and respond to emails from the past…month or so v.v;;; Remember way back when MyO wasn’t working, I had sent many PMs right before that, and I believe they were not received, so if I have yet to respond to a PM you have sent me, please PM me what it was about since I’m sure that I haven’t received many from that weekend that were sent to me.

And then to make this post worthwhile, last week I went to a lecture on the adolescent brain. It was…interesting. But I know many of my friends here on MyO are in that age group, infact my brain is still developing too, my jugement won’t be fully developed till about age 25! Before I left, the speaker started to describe what research found on the effects of drugs and alcohol on teenage brains vs. over 25. Now I personally have previously committed that I will never consume any liquor, but the effects of what was described astounded me so much, that I want to warn all of you since you are my friends. You may not notice any difference, but one beer will effect you for 6 months. You can still remember what you already knew, but are unable to learn new things! The speaker said that it takes 2-3 drinks for the same effect on an adult. Well, I’m not going to keep on preaching this since I’m sure you have all heard it in school, and there’s plenty of research on the net. But I made a banner that all of you who will accept the challenge to not drink can take! (and if you commit, please let me know for statistical purposes, thank you)
