Hey guys, I’m in class right now! WOOOOOOT! There IS no relaxing in art college…I have resorted to the means of updating in-between each breath my professor takes. XD Anyway, life is good. I’ve made quite a number of friends. Work has been killer. I swear to god…it’s sooooo bad. Last week I didn’t sleep for three days. THE only break I had those three days was when I took a shower. Honestly, I didn’t do anything but work…anything. But this week is so much better! It’s a normal week once again, and it’s manageable.
This past weekend I was really inspired…something I haven’t felt for a very very long time. I watched the entire series of Chrno Crusade on veoh and, my word, the ending… the ending really hit me hard. I seriously recommend it. Because of that, I’m working on a Chrno Crusade drawing…plus I’ve got a Fruits Basket request that I will (one day) complete. One day…
For now, here is a sneak preview of that drawing (10+ hrs right now)!
I’ve still gotta lot to work on yet, so look forward to it! I’ll do my best! Rawr! This is such a weird pic for me...not only is it my first time drawing a 'couple'...it's my first time drawing a couple kissing. This is monumental! THIS WILL BE my 100th OTAKU POST GUYS! WOOOOOOOT CELEBRATE!

People are frustrating when they contradict themselves and scold you for stupid things.
So, to get away from da tension, a post is in order! I'm sorry for the lack of update if foreva long. I'm going to try to respond back more often. I doubt if I'll be able to update my art any time in the near future, so don't expect anything like that from me soon. ><
On another note! I keep finding anime characters in fleshed out alternatve-versions of themselves here! Omfg there is a kid in my 2D class that looks EXACTLY like Shishido-san from TnO! Like, it's crazy! Same eyebrows, he always wears a backwards cap, and he even had a bandaid on his forhead for a while! In looks, they are the same, but holy shit are they total opposites in personality. You know those weird anime characters that just drone on and on and on...and you think to yourself that no way in hell are there people in the world like that...you're wrong. I have NEVER met a kid who is as talkitive as he is. ALWAYS talking...like I mean it, constantly...it's uber insane. Even in movies he comments on every other line. It's absolutely nuts! XD
I also have met a Tohma over here...now, funnily enough I still dunno if it's a guy or a girl....but 'it' is gorgerous. I thiiiink it's a girl, not sure, but that's what I believe. Dreamy in any case! ^___^
Besides that, yeah...homework is kicking my ass and I've got the biggest headache because of the way my roommates are handling pressure. >< Talk to you guys later! Hopefully I'll check up on you guys more often!

Small Update on College (will go more indepth later...hopefully)
Hey guys! How are all of you? It’s been hectic on this end. Art school…is a helluva lot of work, let me tell you. I’m getting an average of 20-30 hours worth of hw every week. For example…this is what is due this week:
Foundation Drawing (which I have..er..today..)
- 3 extra hours in the studio for a still life drawing
- 3-5 hr drawing of dishes
- 5 sketchbook assignments on feet (icky)
Art History Intro
- Read Chappie 2 (but he’s behind in the lecture anyway…that chapter is 40 pages long! We’ve had almost all of last week to do it tho..)
- 2 page paper on humanism
Writing for the Arts
- edit an essay
- find two magazine ads to write next paper on
Foundation 2D
- 12…TWELVE images created and assembled in some form of presentation (imovie, powerpoint, book, etc) using various mixed media and based on Nicollete Street (aka: Eat Street)
Foundation 3D
- Metal self portrait (using welding, plasma cutter, etc…out of steel, I believe it is)
I’m crying inside…I really am. XD Nah, it’s okay…a helluva lot of work, but it’s manageable. I also might be studying abroad (I’m in the program! Yesh!). I will be taking Jap classes at another college for credit here…that’ll be so nice! Besides that, I met some pretty cool people on a Picasso exhibit trip. They seem pretty nice. One of the guys that went is uber cool. He’s gunna try studying abroad too so he’s been sending me all these nifty websites to help me study! He’s pretty cute. *le blush*

Hm besides that? There’s this girl named Hannah that I went on the Picasso exhibit with. We’re so alike it’s crazy! I’m glad to have met her. I’m still missing my best friend (Erin) terribly, so it’s nice to have someone to talk to while we’re apart. :*(
Oh, yesterday, I was supposed to go to his party (non-alcoholic… I know, I suck at life) so I called a cab…and it never showed up!!! DX They said twenty minutes and I waited for an hour! I called them and asked why haven’t they picked me up…yadayada…making a long story short, they were supposed to send me a second cab and that one never turned up either! So I missed the party! >< I was sooo upset. It was one of my few chances to get off campus, and I ended up not being able to go! What a pain in the tush!
Hmmm…oh, there are tons of otaku here, btw. I thought I mentioned that in my last post, but I guess I didn’t clarify. Yeah, this is a school mostly for animation, graphic arts, comic art, and design majors (not that there aren’t other programs!!!). I joined anime club, animation club, and comicheads. All seem pretty cool. My roomies are still not into that stuff, and I rather not bring it up with them because only one seems to be open minded to it…the other two I don’t think I’m gunna change their minds. XP Alls wells.
Well, I’m off to do some drawing hw…at 1 in the morning! XD

I'm in College Now
That's right, I've moved into my apartment/dorm and tomorrow is my first day of class! It was a five hour drive here and all of Friday was moving in stuff, yesterday was orientation, and today was a mixture of things.
Wow, I have so much that to talk about. I just need to unload. Moving day, was well, bleh. I was the last to arrive and therefore the last to unpack so all my roommates already got a good start together and I'm kind of off alone really. Two of them seem sweet (my roomate for my room included) but one of them keeps ignoring me. I'll be sitting in the room and she'd ask another roomate if it was okay if she had friends over, but she'll never ask me. Uh, hello? I live here too? XP It's irritating as hell. Not that I'm not friends with bubbly people and that I hate 'preps' but she definatly fits the stereotype. I try to avoid her, but since classes haven't started yet, I haven't been able to go out much yet. It sucks not knowing anybody in a new city and everyone here knows where everything is. On top of it all, I'm terribly homesick and tired and I don't feel much like socializing. Oh, I get along really great with everyone and I'm not always shy, but right now I'm not feeling up to anything. My best friend and my family are so far away, and I really wanna just take things slow, but everyone is really into that stupid 'oh, parties, dances, etc' stuff and I'm not. I'm here to work and no I'm most definatly NOT an anti-partier or anything of the sort, but I feel like people are just doing that because they think they've gotta. I'm not being a stick in the mud and complaining, but I really really need to rant since I'm feeling terribly lonely right now. Almost to the point of getting a little sick from it. I met a girl named Katie. On orientation breakfast I asked her if she felt as bored as I was because we both were just kind of sitting quietly and reading the 'safety' packet and all that mumbo jumbo and we've hung out a couple of times.
Her roomate is a major otaku. Holy crap, there are otaku everywhere! None of my roomates are, so I'm still EXTREMELY hesistant to show my otaku pride. Wisconsin's got nothing and here quite a few ppl seem to be really into it, but I haven't met any otaku yet, I've just seen them.
I know these are little stresses right now, but hopefully I'll feel better because of this. I probably will be ranting a crapload on here, especially in the next couple weeks because of my high stress level right now. So I'll talk to ya guys later!
(Overall though, this school is incredibly nice. Especially all the older students. XD They are hilllarious!)

Today is going to be crazy-insane busy! I gotta finish packing, run errands, and hang out with my peeps! I might not be able to get onto the cp for a while (iunno, it all depends). I'm getting a new laptop (included in the god-forsaken tuition) so I've gotta move all my junk from this cp to that. Iunno if I can do it! I just hope our power doesn't go out again (it's been storming over here so we lost our power for a little while). DX
Besides that, I updated 'yesterday' and put up a wallpaper! Yay! It's nothing special, just a bigger version of my Near pic. 10 downloads though! =D Some people make me happy!

Anywaaaaaaay. Besides all that mumbo-jumbo it's 1 am and I've got nothing special planned for today. I get a birthday pie (god...I hope it's choco french silk. *mouth water*) and I get to go to comedy sports with my best friend (CAUSE I'm 18! Yaaay!) But besides that...yup, nothing. I probably will pack and draw all of today.
Packing has been...well, a pain in the tuush. >< I don't have a lot of stuff to bring to college, but I have craploads of paper with stories, notes, homework, etc pilled up because I never like throwing info away. XP
Hm, I just bought the FMA movie. I'm in such a tenimyu / fma spazz right now. I drew two pictures for FMA but I'll upload them a little later...I gotta majorly edit one and right now I'm also cleaning out the cp so I feel guilty playing around with photoshop when I'm supposed to be doing tidying the cp up. Anywhoo I was watching the movie (whilst drawing) and it occured to me I'm terribly like Ed. I'm short, I'm the oldest sibling and I'm shorter than nearly all of my younger sisters. (Stephanie far surpassed me, Tiffany is only about half an inch shorter than me and she's only 14, and Elizabeth at 13 is my height. I fail at life.) *DOOM* -__-!!!
Besides that. I can't STAND white milk. It's disgusting. XP Don't give me that look! You know it is. Chocolate and other flavored milk are okay, but no...normal white milk is gross. No arguing.
I am also a spazz. Ed is a spazz. We're spazzy kings.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm besides that...I'm done with working at Michael's Arts and Crafts! YAAY! I won't rant about that place now...maybe later. ;D lol Just know that I'm extremely relieved.
