Hey.
Long time, no update? I just finished up my first year of college last Tuesday. I've been ultra, ultra busy for quite a while, but finally I have a little free time. I'm trying to find a summer job right now - and I've had no luck so far. I'm being commissioned sorta for a company to do a logo (it's really for a friend - I don't think I'm going to charge him a lot, if at all). I really wish I'd get commissioned more, but I need to update everything on the web before I do that.
I've declared my major, btw - Animation. How cool is that? :) I probably will go into 3D instead of 2D - but I'm not sure yet.
Since I've last updated I've finished the series Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Chobits. Both were pretty interesting. I was given them by my friends so I own them now. 8D My friends rokzours. ^__^
Anywhoo - hopefully I figure out TheO and get a tablet pen so I can update my portfolio ASAP. :D

So it has begun.


*WILD, INSANE LAUGHTER*

Anyone else excited about V.V? Iunno, I've been on this site for so long and I had no clue they were changing things up. Now that it's finally happening, I'm just uber giddy over the entire affair. I hope it's up and running soon. : D

Anyway, I was in the middle of a post before theo and myo shut down. I was explaining how I got two new pet fish! One's all white, long tail, very pretty, pretty calm - the other is all orange, moves a helluva lot, and has this weird spikey thing going on with his top fin.... does it surprise anyone I named them Yuki and Kyo? XD!!!! I've got this gigantic fish bowl for them, and they've got plenty of room, but I think I'm going to get a small tank. I need to pimp out their home.

So, nothing's going on this week, yet everything is at the same time. Today is Tuesday and normally Tuesdays are my breakdown days because I've got class from 9:15 in the morning to 7:45 at night - well we're in midterm conferences - so most classes are canceled. And while these seems really dandy, I can't turn off my stress switch. I've got a *ton* of homework due next week in retaliation to this week, but it's all manageable and I'm still wigging out. *le sigh* What's bugging me the most though is an inking I have due tomorrow for my Comic 1 class. I have *no* clue what I'm doing. Inking=bad. I'm really, unbelievably bad at it. And no, this isn't me being modest, or comparing myself to other people - I really, hardcore suck at it. Everything I've ever learned has been tossed out the window. TT__TT I'm going to go and talk to someone in a little bit before my history class to see if I can figure this out. I have no clue what blue-line even MEANS. Otherwise, deviantart tutorials it is.

Speaking of deviantart tutorials - I've found the most SPECTACULAR tutorial ever. I've discovered how to create that vintage-look for photography. Nothing will ever be the same again!

Oh, and trying to figure out how to get money to start up a small business is a loooooot of work. Needs ta make money to earn money. But this is my way of making money - Catch 22, no? :<

I'm currently working on a vector art of Fruits Basket. Originally it was going to be the entire anime cast, but because I've discovered the wonders of vector masks on photoshop, I really want to start something else. Vector art is nice to draw with, but I greatly dislike shading. It'll be good to use it for animation once I start that up, but for illustration it's not my first choice. *shrug* So, this will be a really simple drawing of our three main characters on a blank background. Maybe after drawing every good series of my life and once I get a break from school - oh and once i get a break from trying to start up original pieces to sell - then maybe I'll redo this one. ^^;;

Hola guys.
I'm sooo groggy today! =_= What a terrible week. All well, it's the weekend. : > So anyway, I've been invited to go to a con over here... and I'm not sure if I wanna go yet or not. I'm a little weary of these things. Iunno why, I just kind of feel embarrassed about the this kind of stuff, even though I like it. Does that make sense? I'm actually considering making a booth next year to sell some of my art though. I'd like to sell original manga/illustrations and I actually would really enjoy doing cosplay photography. If anyone is interested and lives in the Minneapolis/Milwaukee area, by all means contact me via pm. Imma professional... only with parent's permission if you're under 18 though. It'll be free shoots, but I will hold the rights to sell and distribute them. Technically, I'm not really supposed to be doling out free shoots anymore, but whatever. I think if I hold rights to my photos, then that's good enough, no? A lot of other photographers I know are kinda uptight about that. Honestly, free shoots? That's pretty damn cool. I bet no one takes me up on this though. TT__TT
But yeah, I may or may not go to this con... next year I defiantly would like to set up a booth to sell some stuff. I need to talk to my comic art teacher about how to price things though... ><
I'm actually kinda excited. I wish I could sell stuff now, but I don't have anything to sell! Drat it! >< I better start working, ne?
