I'M OFFICIALLY A HIGH SCHOOL GRAD!
Hey there guys! Technically, it's already Sunday here since it's 2:00 AM. It took me quite a while to post since we had to entertain our guests.

Anyway, I've finally graduated from high school. *throws confetti* After 4 years of sweat, tears, and blood (well, maybe not in the blood part), we've finally ended our high school journey.

Aside from graduating in high school, I also received the Best in English award, Best in Filipino, Most Virtuous Student award, Best in Deportment award, Don Sergio Osmea Academic Excellence Award, and the Valedictorian Award. (A lot, huh?)

There's only one missing thing to make me really happy today. That's the diploma. The school peeps told us that we will officially get our diplomas by Monday. Oh well...

Anyway, since I was the valedictorian, I had to make a valedictory speech. Like I said before, I'm not into very inspiring and respectable speeches and prefer speeches with a twist of humor. And since I like funny speeches (and since it's April Fools Day), I can't help but add this in my speech:
"Now let me take this time to look back at our journey in these past years. Well, our little journey wasnt that hard at all. Everything, from assignments to projects to exams, was as easy as A-B-C. We were as good as little angels and all of us became the teachersEpets. We stood out to become the best students in the campus. Aint that right, classmates?

Well, actually, that 'easy journey' was just a joke. Anyway, today is April Fools Day!"

I've been getting some positive feedback from the audience for my speech. So, do you think I have what it takes to be the next host of "The Late Show" or "The Daily Show"?

Going back to the graduation. After the graduation, we had a relatives-only party at my house. (I didn't invite any classmates 'coz I know they're having their own celebration.) We ate, we sang, and we talked. You know, just a regular graduation party. (Oh yeah, I also got PHP 800 as a graduation gift from my relatives.)

Now, let's go to TODAY'S SPECIAL

TODAY'S SPECIAL
If I had a chance to speak out, I would have chosen the song, "Next In Line", as our graduation song. It's because the lyrics of this song somehow narrate a coming-of-age scenario. Anyway, here's the lyrics for "Next in Line" (click the button at the top for the music):

NEXT IN LINE
After Image

What has life to offer me when I grow old?
What's there to look forward to beyond the biting cold
('Cause) They say it's difficult, yes, stereotypical.
What's there beyond sleep, eat, work in this cruel life
Ain't there nothin' else 'round here but human strife
'Cause they say it's difficult, yes, stereotypical
Gotta be conventional, you can't be so radical.

Chorus:

(So I'll/And) sing this song to all of (my/our) age
For these are the questions we've got to face
For in this cycle that we call life
We are the ones who are next in line
We are next in line.
Gotta be conventional, you can't be so radical.

We are next in line
Oh-hoh, we are next in line.

Bridge:

And we gotta work, we gotta feel (we gotta feel)
Let's open our eyes and do whatever it takes
We gotta work, we gotta feel (we gotta feel)
Let's open our eyes, oh-woh.

...line

Sing this song for me
Sing this song for me.

That's all for today. HAVE A NICE DAY!
