that introspection thing
I've decided my posts are never really all that interesting. No, no, this isn't me being humble or fishing for compliments, this is just the truth. And I think that's because I don't have opinions about a lot of things.

It was odd, in the first day of my bio lab this summer, we were drawing microscope slides. My lab TA and I got along pretty well right from the start (thinking back on it, I realized I always get along ridiculously well with male lab TAs I've had, no I don't mean that in a perverted way, I think it's just because I get along really well with nerdy guys). So I was looking for more microscope slides to draw, and he said, "Well, what do you want to see?" And I said, "Oh, whatever is fine."

To which he said, "I'm sure you can choose something. You look like the kind of person who has opinions on everything."

Which made me really puzzled. Because it's not true. I do have some very strong opinions on some things, but only trivial, stupid things, and I feel like an intelligent 20-year-old should have an opinion on way more things than I do.

How annoying.

Of course, also, the changes to the Arena are awesome and I'm glad they've been put into effect. And after all that debate about that other RPG I thought of a different one and put it up within twenty minutes. Though I didn't spend weeks writing it up in Word and finally not even putting it up like most of my brainchildren, I think it's one of the cooler ideas I've ever had for one, so you should certainly sign up.
