Because imitation is the highest form of flattery.
Dead stolen from dearest Arcadia:

Here's the deal: find your playlist, set it on random so that twenty songs come up. Out of those twenty, pick your ten favorite. Copy a pair of lines from each of these songs and paste them in your journal. Watch and behold as people try to guess the name of the song and the artist behind it.

I cheated and did more than the first twenty, because a bunch of them were either New Zealand songs even I hadn't heard of, or didn't have words. Also, I hope these words are right ... I just wrote them down from the song while it played.

1. I saw the world crashing all around your face
Never really knowing it was always mesh and lace

2. Searching all my days just to find you
Not sure who I'm looking for
I'll know you when I see you

3. I gave you all of me, still it wasn't enough for you
Is this how it's supposed to be, now I'm trying to get over you

4. We should be lovers
We can't do that

5. Does the world seem gray with empty longing
Wearing every shade of cynical

6. Keep planting to find out which one grows
It's a secret no one knows

7. Like Icarus I collide
With a world I try so hard to leave behind

8. Now here we are, driving round town
And I'm contemplating just where I'm gonna lay you down

9. I wanna know you in and out
I wanna know what you're all about

10. And everything you give to me
Feels as though it's meant to be
If you ever ask me how I feel ...

Man, I have some random music. I wouldn't even get some (most) of these.

One day I'll post in complete sentences and actually about my life. One day.
