*sigh*
It's so boring...I can't wait until I'm back at camp. I've been reading endlessly since I got home, cuz there's nothing else to do. Anybody have any ideas of things I can do?

About Camp
The session I went to at camp was called wranglers {I already said that didn't I...?} and is for girls 8th grade through 12th grade. The 9 days I spent there were sooooo much fun, and I didn't want to ever leave. We rode horses every day for 2 hours, and got to ride the same horse everytime. The horse I rode is called Dreamer, and for those who know about horses, he was like a pinto only cream colored. Basically, he was cream colored with big white blotches like pintos and paints have. He was such a good horse, I love him!!! I wish he was my horse. We got to jump, but only about a foot high because we rode western, and jumping in a western saddle is bad for the horses back. Dreamer was a great jumper and never once refused or walked over the jump. He jumped perfectly every time except one when his hind foot hit the pole. On Friday night we went on a camp out. The Wranglers, our counslers Tugi and Paris, and all of the horse staff rode the horses to the campground. We put the saddles and bridles in a small metal building, and put the horses in a pasture about 20 feet from where we put the tents. In the morning, we rode the horses back to camp and went to breakfast. After we ate, we went back to the barn and spent a little over an hour riding english and bareback. The camp out was fun, but I'm really scared of ticks, and they were crawling on me so...yeah...lol. Swimming at camp was fun too. We swim in a man made lake, so I don't have to freaked out about fish touching me in the water. Sadly, we only got to swim 2 times the whole 9 days we were there. We swam on Tuesday the 11th and on Saturday the 15th. Tuesday was the day of the horse side's pool party. All of the campers that were at horse sessions came to the lake and swam together. On Saturday, we were the only campers there because most sessions are from Sunday to Friday, so we got the whole lake to ourselves. Tugi and Paris came and swam with us on Saturday, and so did a few other staff.Considering the weather was around 100 degrees, you'd think they would have let us swim more than just those 2 days, but oh well...maybe I'll get to swim more next time I go. It was kind of cool being the only campers there over the weekend, even though it was strange not having the smaller girls around. The CITs are there for 2 weeks, but they go home over the weekend I think. Then on Sunday, new campers came! There were even smaller girls then last time ^.^ they were so cute lol. Aside from Shaunta clare and Endora, the staff were awesome! Tugi and Paris were great counslers, and I really hope they come back next year. Paris dyed her hair red while we were at camp! It looked really cool. Our riding instructor Piper was also totally cool. I also hope that she comes back to Camp Elk River next year too. Most of the camp staff were awesome! However, there were a few that really didn't seem to like us. The person in charge of the counslers and CIT Wranglers {Counsler In Training} was called Shaunta clare {I know its spelled wrong but who cares} and excuse my language, but she was a bitch. She shot dirty looks at the Wranglers on multiple occasions, like we had done something wrong, but he hadn't. One day when we were at the barn, two horse staff had to jump on horses and go to where a group of girls were on a trail ride. Apparently, a big fly had bitten a girls horse, and he bucked her off. A girl in my cabbin named Libby asked one of the CITs who was one of her really good friends that she goes to school with what happened, and Redd {the CIT} was really professional about it and said she couldnt tell us. Libby didn't ask anything more, and as far as I know, neither did anybody else. Then later that day after dinner {or was it lunch...?} Shaunta clare pulled all of the Wranglers aside and accused us of "badgering" the CITs for information. Her words where "I know you want to know about the new, hot story and all the camp gossip, but its none of your business. You'll be told what you need to be told." She also said that the CITs had specificaly said it was the Wranglers bugging them, but the CITs told us that it was the little girls who were the ones bugging them for info. We didn't want to now about any camp gossip, we simply wanted to know if the girl was alright. I mean, we see these girls everyday. We eat meals with them, sing songs with them, help them saddle and bridle their horses, and if one of them gets hurt, we want to make sure they're ok. The girl was fine by the way, we saw her later that day. She had just landed weird when Skipper bucked her off. Another day, we were sitting in little red, which is a little red farm house we use as the horse science room where we learn about horses. One of the other counslers called Endora brought her group in and everybody was talking at once, including her girls, which made it seem really loud. When the staff want us to be quiet, they yell "Hey hey" and we answer back. She called "hey hey" and then said in a really rude tone "Can I talk to my girls?"and then rolled her eyes at us. I don't get why some of the staff was treating us like shit, when we were being a hell of a lot more responsible then them. On either Tuesday {the 11th} or Wednesday {I think it was Wednesday} my cabin was up really late when we weren't supposed to be, had our flashlights on, and were talking about the way Shaunta clare was treating us. My bed was next to the door, which is just a screen door. I saw one of the counslers go outside of the cabin and I told the girls in my cabin. They said "We don't care if they hear us, sit down" so I just sat down on my bed. A little bit later, I stood up when I saw all of the counslers except Tugi and Paris leave the cabin and walk in the direction of little red, which is about 2 1/2 to 3 blocks in distance. I didn't even say anything yet when the girls said "Sit down, we down't care if they hear us" again. Then, awhile after that, I saw 2 of the little girls knocking on the counsler cabin, and told my cabin. They simply replied "Who cares, sit down." Then, a few minutes later, the girls knocked on our door and said that one of the girls in their cabin was sick, and the counslers didn't answer the door. My whole cabin ran over to theirs barefoot, except for kelsy who was still wearing her shoes. We aren't even supposed to wear sandals outside of our cabin or the beach area, we're supposed to wear closed toed shoes. But it turn out to be a girl named Megan {who I is 11 I think...} that I had made friends with, and I even adopted her as my camp sister. She had a fever, felt like she was going to throw up, evrytime she sat up she said she felt dizzy like she would faint, and her stomach had been hurting since that morning. The girls in her cabin had 2 fans right next to her bed, pointed at her. She was weraing shorts and a t-shirt and was shivering. We got a washcloth wet with cold water and put it on her forehead {it was my idea ^.^}, turned off one of the fans, and covered her up with her sleeping bag. I grabbed a pair of flip flops that were way to big for me, and me and Kelsey went to go get the counslers. On the way to little red, there is a really rocky, kind of steep hill with really loose dirt that the counslers had told us specifically NOT to run down and I ran down it in FLIP FLOPS! When Kelsy and I got to little red, we found the counslers sitting in it eating brownies. I'm sorry, but Endora and Shaunta clare are fat, and they really don't need to be eating brownies in the middle of the night. The counslers came back with us, and called the camp nurse {no shes not an old lady, she looks about 18 or 19} who took care of Megan. Megan's counsler Kiwi thanked us like 5 times, but Shaunta clare and Endora didn't say anything. I don't blame Kiwi, because she seemed to feel really bad about it, but I was, and still am really pissed at the others...mostly Shaunta clare. See, there is an alarm so if somebody opens one of the cabin doors, an alarm will wake up the counslers so they can poke their heads out to make sure everything is ok. My counslers were in the counsler cabin during all of this, but Paris was asleep and Tugi was listening to music, so they didn't hear the girls knocking on the door. Shaunta clare had not turned on the alarm when they left, so anything could have happened. Campers are supposed to take a buddy to the bathroom, but if nobody would wake up, what if a girl had gone out of the cabin to walk to the bathroom by herself? Somebody could have hurt themselves like twisted an ankle or something, and nobody would know because the alarm was off and most of the counslers weren't around because they were busy eating brownies. Or, somebody could have gone into one of the cabins, and injured, kidnapped, or raped one of the girls. Not very likely at a girlscout camp, but still. I'm really pissed at how irresponsible the counslers were, leaving in the middle of the night. The second they left, we were all in danger because anything could have happened. As I said before though, I'm not mad at Kiwi because she seemed to feel really bad about it. Megan was ok, and felt alot better the next day. I was really sad when her session was over, because I didn't want her to leave. On Sunday {the day before we left} during riding, Skipper wouldn't go over the jump, no matter what the girl riding him did, so Piper had her dismount, and she got on him. She took down the jump and just tried to make him walk over the pole on the ground but he wouldn't. She kicked him as hard as she possibly could, and Tugi pulled on his leadrope, but Skipper would NOT move. Piper got mad and said "What a retard, go over the damn pole!" That was so funny! But trying to get that stupid ass pony to go over the pole wasted the rest of our riding time, and I didn't get to jump that day. I was riding english, and I was really dissapointed because I was going to be the next person to jump, and it would have been my first time jumping in an english saddle. Then, the next day {Monday} was our last day at camp. We did a horse show for our parents and Dreamer jumped 100% PERFECTLY the first time. The second time is when his foot hit the pole, and knocked it down. Oh well, you can't expect a horse to jump perfectly every time. After the show, I got my grandma to drive me to the grey koch so I could say goodbye to people there. I said goodbye to Kiwi, who was with her campers in the drama room. I also got to say goodbye to Draco, the nature specialist, who was in the camp office. I felt really stupid crying because I had to leave...nobody else was crying that I could see. Well, I guess that just shows how much I love being at Camp Elk River. I'm so happy that I get to go back again this year for another session. This time I won't be on horse side, I'll be in a session called the "amazing camp race" on program side. I leave for camp on August 6th and come back on the 11th. I'm really sad that I won't get to see Dreamer...because I know that I will probably never see him again. The camp might buy horses, so they won't have to rent them anymore. Sadly, it seems that the man that rents the horses to camp doesn't want to sell them. That means that dreamer probably won't be there next year, nor will any of the other horses. Well, I think this is long enough...if anybody has questions about anything I said, ask me in a PM or in a comment.
