   Ohayogozaimasu good morning
watashi wa nihongo ga hanasemasu. I can speak Japanese. *well a little* Today I shall teach you basic Japanese grammar. Time for me to teach you!!!

1. In Japanese, there is no word for "A" or "THE"
So, A DOG is INU and THE DOG is INU

2. The Japanese word for IS is DESU (DEH SOO)
Therefore, THE DOG IS is INU WA DESU

Notice the word WA after INU. WA after a word shows it is the subject of a sentence.

To say THE DOG IS FURY you simply say, INU WA GEKIJOU DESU
Notice too that IS - DESU goes to the end.

You can try you own sentences now.
INU dog
NEKO cat
AHIRU duck
MAUSU mouse
AKAI red
KIIRO yellow
KURO black
PA-PURU purple

YAY FOR YOU!!!
