   C'est super!
French o' the day: that is awesome!

I found the digital camera! I'm so happy! so I just submited an entry for yinandyang's Faerie contest ... I had to resize it a bit on my computer so I hope it is not too small but if it is I will blame my limited computer photoshop program then I will take it off theOtaku and try to alter it again then repost it.

now, I'm off to find some stuff I have drawn through the month *cringes at the thought b/c she has no friggin' idea where any of her art is*

   nous avons regarde...
French o' the day: we saw...

... something increadible today! I'm still high off of endorphens (or whatever that chemical in your brain it that deals w/ exciting stuff)! okay, so I was picked up from school and there was dad, mom, and realtor-san in the car(we wanna buy a commercial lot) and we saw 2 places then it was time to get NK-san from elementary school. the line into the building was londer than usual so I got out of the car and fetched my brother. when we got in the car dad reved the engine (almost NO fuel) and we were off without any time to get buckeled. so we were like:

us - "what's the matter dad?"
dad - "there was just a hit-n-run, we're purseuing the dumptruck that did it"
us - *WTF???*
mom - calls cops

so we followed the dumptruck in out ford and mom was on the phone telling the police his every move and dad was gunning the car and it was so cool! we followed him for seven minutes or so and he finally pulled into a neighborhood to do a u-turn and we waited in some random persons drive way. on his way out, dumptruck dude apparently saw us cuz he went back to the school ... we're assuming that last part b/c he had PLENTY of places to turn around before we waited for him at the neighborhood's mouth.

so he went back to the school and appologised, we followed him the ENTIRE way ...

... my head hurts from the anxiety rush. Expect my brother's commical take on this event posted as soon as I: a) do violin auditions b) have time to draw and c) find the digital camera ... it's hillarious! he learned his wittyness from me but I'm still the best at it in my house n.nv

Je sais ce que je faire pour mon discours!!
French o' the day: I know what I"m doing for my speech!!

yep!

it'll be about the importance about having orchestra in schools!

here's my only delema: I'm gunna play a song to start it off and to end it (not a full song, mind you, just a 15 sec excerpt or so b/c the speech is supposed to be 4:15-7:45 min long [those are the maxes]) ... what song/excerpt should I play? it has to me something everyone would know ... mom wants me to start of w/ Eine Klien Nachtmusik (however you spell it) but doesn't know what to end it w/ ... J'AI BESOIN D'AIDER!!!* (*I need help!!!)

~subject change~

I got another Nightwish CD! This one is titled "Wishmaster". I love "Wanderlust"!!! The only bad thig is that, when it arrived via mailbox, the case had a crack in it! but I taped it up so it's all good v~.^

~subject change~

I still can't find the friggin' digital camera!! I've got stuff to upload but I can't take a pic of it and idk anyone who would scan stuff for me (that lives in the same relative area) so I'm pissed! *pout face*

La redoutable Mai 27eme...
French o' the day: the dreaded May 27th

so, the 27th of May was all planned out to be a joyous day. Nightwish is comming to Lawrence, KS that day. ImaginaryPrincess and I had plans to meet there and spend the day fawning over NW and catching up on what's going on (besides the longdistance phone bill increasing every Friday night) ... all our plans were foiled by *dramatic music* end of the year exams. Yes, my exams are May 27 and 28, the last two days of school. Well, I've been asking around and it sounds like tests can't be reschedualed for "an individual" (as they call us [isn't that odd, they call multiple people "individuals", that doesn't make sence) ... I've still got some time.

Then, my mom told me she might reschedual the family's summer plans to go to Germany (originally intended to start in July) to start mid-May! eventhough plane tickets are only $1200 per person ($300 less each if we were going when origionally intended), that ruins my NW plans! The school would also give the okay for me to leave school early because it would be a "learning experience".

On top of that, there is the matter of June 10-26th (I think those are the dates). I really want to get into a violin camp. It usually had 1,100 people audion but accepts roughly 250 (for the entire Arts camp, idk the number for the orchestra department). So there's that and - The Phantom of the Opera is turing certain OK cities, Jul. 24-26th. I wanna do both!

so you see, I have a timing delema.

I need chamomille tea.

   Je ne sais pas
French o' the day means: I don't know

What do you know about the Rotary Club? no,no, not a chicken roasting club - the organization

You see, the Rotarians are coming to my little town next week and they are going to listen to speakers of whom I wish to be among. It's a contest for high-school students and the grand prize winner gets $1000 (there are 1st thru 4th places, all get money) but it would be a really good learning experience regardless of the outcome.

The topic is:
"Of the things we think, say, or do:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?"

That is the groups "motto" in a sence, it's called "The Four Way Test"

The speech can be any genre/tone the presenter wants. It can also be about anything somewhat pertaining to the club.

Any suggestions?

I know I haven't posted art in forever, I can't find the digital camera! I also don't concuoisly know anyone who owns a scanner that would willingly scan my work (without pay that is) ... I'm sorry.

   craming = *bleck*
so tomorrow is the first of 2 days of midterms ... bleck. I, like my mid-high buddies, have saved cramming until the last minute (us being as intelligent as we are). I actually wrote and worked on a speech I have to give 3rd hour tomorrow so I can't be condemned for not doing school stuff.

Here's the testing schedual for me:
Tuesday
8-10 ~ French II
10-12 ~ give speech/listen to speeches/ eat pizza if I bring in $5 (midterms were a prompt right befor break, I got a 150% on it!)
12-2:20 ~ Pre-AP English (which I will probably exempt [we can exempt one test])

Wednessday
8-10 ~ Pre-AP Science
10-12 ~ Pre-AP OK History
12-2:20 ~ Geometry

... on Thusday our teachers are going to BS us on how we did and we'll watch movies. I have no idea what's going on Friday.

So here's me, posting on myOtaku because cramming isn't working for me ... I'm stressed b/c I have a huge philosophical speech to give right after a French exam *sigh* ... I wanna cookie and some black cherry soda ... I don't have either *sigh*, back to studying for me.

*excited gasp* I have an idea! Eveytime I'll post, I'll put up a French phrase/word/saying!

French o' the day:
Salut! (bye-bye)

   book 4 test
alright, so my class took the "Once and Future King" book 4 test. I think I did alright, I mitta missed 3 or 4 but nothing too bad. so there was a bonus thing and it said and I quote "*Bonus* for 10 pts - Draw your favorite character from any of the four books" ... 10 pts for DRAWING!!! I did it, of corse, and I took longer drawing it than I did on the actual test! I drew Maiden Marian (Robin Wood's ["Hood" depending on which book ur reading] wife).

I'll upload it as soon as I get it back ... in two to three weeks probably. My high school is really bad about getting stuff back to you, it kinda sux ...

... which reminds me: we did a project in Pre-AP Geometry in OCTOBER and is hasn't even been graded yet!!!!! I really hate my teacher. She's old (68 at the youngest) and has been teaching all her life and she REALLY needs to retire ... I feel good getting that out.

   my first post of 2008!

glitter-graphics.com

So, every year I have made a last wish of that year at exactly 11:59. I have also made a first wish of the new year at 12:01. This year my wishes were 1) for M-chan to hook up with the guy she's been goggling over since school started that doesn't quite know she exists and 2) for me to meet up with my long lost love, Samuel McQueen-Smith. He was my first friend but I moved away a week in between our birthdays and haven't heard from him since 1998 but I still dream. Below is a clip from my favorite song in the whole world, you can guess why. (to hear it, click pause on "Ocean Soul")

So, what were your last and first wishes of 2007-2008?
