Hi...this is going to be a short post because I just remembered about my English paper... Just to tell you I am alive but mourning the lose of my dog. My buddy of 10 years. I am thinking about doing a tribute but I dont know what you guys would think about it. The cold weather here is not helping my mood any either. Well, I hope my brain starts getting some ideas for that essay. You guys have a nice weekend.

Hi again ^__^ School is going well. So far in biology, we have not done any hard labs. We did measuring reflexes, lol. My partner and I kept flinging the ruler at each other because we failed to catch it. You know we you miss something you end of juggliging it around in an attempt to catch it. Or may thats just me... and we learned how to use a bunch of the equipment including a pipette and a photospectometer. hehe... I am learning. Lecture to that class is really boring, mainly chemistry...sigh...

Suprisingly, I am enjoying my English class so far. Interesting huh? My teacher is very interesting and enthused, without the crazy happy, and the stories we have read are mostly interesting. We read one called "What They Carried" that talked about the military how in addition to the guns, weapons, food, water and equipment they have to carry, they have to carry the weight of their country, family, pride, shame, guilt, and the lives of fallen comrades. I thought it was a story that was put together very well. We have class discurssion, which I thought I would hate, that I am enjoying. He is open minded and we can say that we hated as story as long as we can discribe why we did. We have class "arguments" were we go beck and forth between the people that lied the story and the people that did not.

I feel like I need to respond to yalls comments this time:
Mizakage- the stress test pretty much asked questions like "Have you had any recent deaths in the family? Do you enjoy your job? Do you get frustrated when...? Do you complete things on time?" Things that would make it difficult to do nursing such as impatients because it is a stressful job so they dont want to accept you into the program if you get stressed easily.

Yensid- *hugs* You have so much bad things going for you yet you are one of the most optomistic and friendly people I know with great knowledge

AnimeDreams- I used to be too when I was a little kid. No one every made fun of the blind kids, just the four eyes but I got over it when I realize how much there is too see and how lucky i was to even be alive being born so prematurely.

Rose- hehe I used to hit my head on the ceiling too but i still think that the popcorn looks better than a normal ceiling. That is good that you have some good teachers. I have always wanted to taken Latin. Alot of the medical terminology is Latin and for some reason I really enjoy learning them, though I probably pronounce them wrong.

I'd don't know if I will get any comments today but I did say I would post on Saturday...
The test went ok for the most part. I know I passed the math which is what the focus of my studying was. I am not sure about the reading comprehension. It was a little hard. The stress test, cant have any stress nurses helping stressed patients, I know I did good on. Then they added another section physiology. I not sure about that one. Alot of things we did not cover in our anatomy class. Well, thats how I think I did,. I will not find out the results for a long time.

For Mangus and other noisy (just kidding) people: I am visually impaired so certain tasks such as microscope viewing and filling in scantrons are extremely difficult for me. My eyes are very slow at focuses so I have never actually seen anything out of a microscope because it moves by the time my eyes are ready to see it. I will never be able to drive, which is why I take the bus. I guess that is good considering the gas prices but it is getting really cold here. What else? I have bad depth perception, so tend to walk off curbs if I am in a new place...it looks really bad... Any other questions, i dont mind answering, just ask.

We are remodeling our house right now. Putting in new windwos that are "energy effiiient" and getting rid of the popcorn on the ceiling. I am going to miss the popcorn...I personally think that it looks creepy without it.

Have a nice weekend and enjoy Martin Luther King day, if you celebrate it. I dont but I enjoy the day off.

I forgot to post about my classes... I think the first week went pretty well. I ddont want an uber long post so I will talk about 2 of them now and the other two next time I post.
My Ear Training and Sight REading class (which i am just going to call my music class from now on) seems really interesting. We did an exercise on the computer where we had to decide which inteveral was larger. I think I am going to have difficulty with the "ear training" part of the class. Then the next class period, we did sight reading. I really enjoy it because it reminds me so much of choir class. My teacher said it is one of the hardest music classes so I really hope I can keep up.

Then the other class I will talk about is government. My teacher seems nice but our class is a very talkative bunch that likes interupting so our class tends to run the full time limit. I think it is rather annoying but then again i took gov2 so already know alot of the stuff that they want explained. I have to realize that this is my third semester of governemnt and it is some of theiir first. We dont have to do a reseach paper which i am glad about. Instead, we have to respond to a current event and explain the role government plays in it. We just went over basic vocabulary such as public policy. Well, thats enough from me for today. Have a good weekend.

Good afternoon (night or morning). Not quite 100% but it is good enough for me ^__^ I shall be starting school again monday. I quite enjoyed the one month break other than the sickness. The first week or so I spent doing alot of cleaning. Sometimes i get in the moods where i will clean for hours and really enjoy it whereas other times i just hate it. I dont know *shrugs* Then did alot of reading and game boy playing. Then got sick and did not do much of anything. Then volunteered at the nursing home. I got in about a week and it was really fun. I look forward to the day I get to work there (have to pass my CNA test first, it will probably be in April). I am hoping to still go there on Fridays, since we have no school ^__^ I really enjoy having friday off. Well, I will be going from 9-3 M-Th, so probably will go back to posting once a week, unless i am bored, I have a tendency to end up here, hehe *hugs*

In case you are curious, I will be taking Ear Training and Sight Reading (it is one course with a really long name ^__^ that fulfils my humanities credit), government 1 (i took gov 2 last semester so that class should not be hard), biology (i dread this class. I spent so much time with the disablity couselor to find out a class that did not use microscopes and after finding out they did not over either of the classes this semester, picked biology because it is a nursing requirement) Gloom... and it last for 5 hours...and finally english 2 (I have heard bad things about it but am hoping i will do better because it is more writing based on reading instead of your own experiences. It is really hard to right about yourself when you are such a boring person, hehe.)

Well, my college nursing enterance exam (aka NET) is this Friday, so i will see you saturday, be good ^__^

This post is kinda long, so I will wait until next time to post my Otaku talk (hehe, i like that phrase- maybe i should coin it)

^__^ hi guys! I am doing alot better...I think. I do not have a headache or a fever and only really coughing at night and that only when I dont take my medicine. But I am feeling alot more energetic and even went to the nursing home today. We had a guest singer and yesterday I helped them play Bingo. I am disappointed that I am not allowed to perform any CNA tasks (because it has been over 3 months :( ) but I think just being at the nursing home and getting use to the residents and staff will help me when it comes to taking the test for certificatoion. Thank you guys for your well wishes, I think they helped :) I think I should clean my room now...my sister's is spottless and mine is a pigpen, hehe

For anyone interested in Otaku talk (ie. anime and video games) I will be trying to post some stuff. Today's topic is Sword of Mana for GBA:
I got this game for Christmas and am having fun with it. It plays similar to Zelda in that you have a sword and a bow-arrow. Your mission, or at least where i am at, is to guard a girl whom was running away after her parents were killled, from a group that dispised her race. In this game you actually chose your class, such as mage, warrior, ect. unlike in Fire Emblem where you are automatically "evolved" to the next level. Well, that's my spill on the game.

You guys take care!

*grumble grumble*
I went to the doctor yesterday *glares at mother* and after they canceled twice we finally found a doctor that would ok at. I was beginning to think i had Broncitis or something because of the pain in my chest and ribs but I guess it is a cold because she said it was going around. It will last a couple more days and I had a really good sleep last night since she have me some very good cough surup. *sticks tongue out* nasty. Well bad news is I was feeling good this morning so I went to the nursing home but had to leave early because I was feeling very weak and nauseaus. I feel so unrealible *pouts*

Any good news, I have been studying my math and helping my sister clean her room. I cant bare to part with my stuff, so I am helping her get rid of her stuff, lol. I did throw all of my math stuff that i had been saving for the past 6 years except for what i need for my nursing test. Sorry for the once again bad mood, hopefully it will get better and i will have something interesting to post.

I am updating again *ignores the groaning*
I think i am on the road to recover. No fever and after last night's vigorous coughing, the coughing has gone done

Everyone seems to be toasting to the new year. I liked 2007 but am not as scared to go into 2008 as I was in May 2007 hehe. We dont normally do much around here because we have a big Christmas celebration but watch the New Year's Celebration and eat chips at midnight. I dont konow if i will be able to stay up this time...

New Year's Resolution:
1. Take and pass my Nurses Aide Certification test
2. Be able to do 50 situps in one sitting (am currently at 20, maybe i should lower it to 40) I do 20, 15, then 10
3. Keep my grades up. I dont know if i will be obssessing over getting As since I already ruined my honor roll but i am still going to try hard
4. Take my Nurses Enterance exam to get into the Nursing program at y school.

Thats about it, cant set too many goals or I wont meet them, lol

Cheers ^__^

Hey guys. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
I had a headache. That stupid respiratory bug is going around again. I had fun getting gifts for my family this year because I actually had more than 5 dollars, lol.

I received $50, a Darren Shaw book. an Artemis Fowl book, The Sword of Mana for GBA, and the Harry Potter Order of the Pheonix movie. We had a nice dinner together and played soccer in the park as a family. Then we had a nice feast.
Yesterday, I was in bad with a 100.9 temp

Today, I was suppose to start volunterring at the nursing home. I was looking very forward to it but am still running a temp and hacking alot. Stupid medicine doesnt work though it tasted absolutlely horrible. Since I dont want to infect the residents of the nursing home, I am staying home :( I have done some studying for my nursing entereance exam, which is in January and am hoping I will do alot better job studying for this then I did for my SAT.

Sorry i am so blah right now. I hope you guys had a Merry Christmas. I will try to get around to sites so I dont go back to bed. Have a Happy New Year
