Our World

So many people are dying
So many people don’t care

This world is full of cold hearts and unfeeling rogues

So many people are starving
So many more eat their fill

Why is no one helping?
Why does no one care?

So many people are shivering in this cold unfeeling world
And so many people use heaters with no thought of the shivering

This world is dying
Yet none will care at all

Too many people are hurting
Too many turn the blind eye

Our people are dying
Yet people ignore it all

Ignorance is silence
Ignorance isn’t bliss

Rich people in their mansions
While the poor live on the street

The rich people are thinking only of themselves
While the poor beg at their feet

No one to save the dying and dirt poor

Why is no one caring?
Why is no one there to help?

There’s no trust in the world
There’s no love in the world

There’s no peace in the world

There are only lies in this world
There’s only hate in this world
There’s only disgust in this world
There’s only war in this world

There are no heroes in the world
There are only criminals and sinners

Will no one save us?
People are dying

Will no one feed us?
People are starving

Will no one care?
People are shivering

Will no one help us?
The world is dying

Will no one take the pain?
People are hurting

People are homeless and poor

Have pity on our souls
