   I was all nice and over it and then...

... I get an email from the ex. WTF?

Told him to leave me the hell alone.

That said, Mom has to have a spinal tap later on next week. On Tuesday or so. We're not quite sure when exactly, but hopefully we'll get to the bottom of all these headaches she's been having! 60 days of one headache!

Speaking of aches, I've done something to my back and I'm not quite sure how, but it hurts to bend over and to get up out of a chair. It's the lower backy. I think I pinched a nerve or something, but whenever my back doesn't hurt, my butt does!!! WTF? O_ o

Watching the boyfriend play Paper Mario 2 now. ^__^ He got me 2 dozen roses for our 1 month! O__o crazy! I love them tho!

Oh yeah.............. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMES!!!!!! So sorry that I missed it! T___T Do forgive a friend in pain. Hope it was wonderful! Everyone stop by SomeGuy's myO page and give him 23 b-day spankin's! xD

So an update on the second week of clinical I think is in order:

Everything was pretty much a LOT better on the second week pretty much because I had abtter grasp on what I was doing. I gave a few more shots of Lovenox [anti-coagulant] and we got to give catheters and stuff. I didn't give one, but we all watched! O_ o My teacher was a little less mean this time, mostly cause she just wanted to go home as much as we did! We got bagels on the last day and I had my first black coffee ever. No cream or sugar. Blegh. XP~~~

I turned in my care plan which is pretty much like a term paper... [but it involved the patient that I was taking care of. I'd tell you who it was and what was her problem, but there is something called HIPPA/HIPAA that says I can't. Look it up guys. That's your task for today? K?] I did GREAT on it and I passed clinicals! Yey! xD I also passed my CAP test which is basically another BIG test that you have to pass to progress. It was hard but I had to meet the national average of I think 75... I passed with a 95!!!!!!!!!! WHOOO!!

Anyways. Teh boyfriend and I just got back from the beach and we're gonna play some Zelda and Final Fantasy.

   Clinicals... Part One of Two.
O. o I've been busy! Wednesday and Thursday morning before dawn >. < we all met at the rehab center in the little white uniform and stethoscope:

Wednesday I was on time! Yay! We had to wait for directions from our teacher. I have the teacher that everyone doesn't want, but that's good because she's so strict and MAKES us remember the things we shouldn't forget! For most of the morning and the afternoon, we were helping the unit as a whole: taking vital signs, moving patients out of bed, taking them their food, talking with them, showering them... We didn't get our specific patients until after lunch. After lunch we got to get our patients chart and gather the information for the care plan for our specific patient. I mostly needed to get why they were there, meds, and basically their history. I met with her briefly before we went home

ThursdayI was late. Boo. I turned in my rough draft for my care plan [which I stayed up until 2 finishing]. We met our patients again and prepared to take care of them for the day. I went to double check the meds... it turns out that I copied from the wrong month... so I had to hurry and relearn all the different meds she had. I gave them all the first time okay. I gave my very first shot too! ^_^ At 11 I had to give her her second round of meds... and messed up a lot. My teacher was there to supervise me, but she got angry when I couldn't remember what the little pink pill did. >. < At lunch I kinda cried because I was so tired and nervous. The remainder of the day was okay and managed to get through it. I got my care plan back and did really well on it! ^ ^ I have to redo the meds before I turn it in the 2nd time, but everything else seems okay!

   Flutters: Bad chicken or love? OMG. O. o
So yeah... I've been having that flutterness. It's weird. I haven't had it in a long time, but usually all that ever came with it was anxiety. Now I don't feel any! I feel good! No pressure, no worrying. It's odd! It makes me glad that I'm NOT in that other horrible relationship! Yay!

I started a WoW character on my bf's server. :P Rogue Troll Lvl. 2! Bitches! What?! xD It's kinda fun, buuut. Meh... Not something I wanna take all of my time to do!

... That's where Twilight Princess comes in! xD

   Mario-makeout-party 4? The hell...?
So... yeah... I'm back with a very old ex from high school [6 years ago-freshman]. Things are going well, but he doesn't like to loose when we play MarioParty. :P Annnnnnnnyway. LOL. He's a lot better than the last asshole. Helluva kisser too! ^///^

I start my clinicals on Wednesday. Fun. 0600-1800 [6a-6p]. Wednesday and Thursday. Not to mention that I've taken 2 weeks off of work so I have plenty of time to make a good care plan. Oi... I hope I don't hurt anyone!

Gotta get ready for work... I think. Not sure if I have to go anyway...

   Numbers. Fsking numbers!
They. Suck.

So I didn't pass my Dosage Calculations Exam. :( I'm pretty upset about it because now I have to study for that and my Unit 2 Exam. I hate it when these tests are timed. Other stuff has been happening that has been really taxing on my mind so when I got my test back I just kinda cried. Plus I'm having a really hard time giving the injections for a skin test [basically you put the need just under the skin and inject a little bit of fluid to make a little "air bubble"]. Everyone else is getting it. So I'm frustrated.

Well, at least I don't have to work today. I need a nap to calm down I think. ::sighs::
