MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

Ok, so for a lot of you, you're day is almost finished. You've probably opened some presents, done a few family traditions, and generally getting ready for the big day. As for me, my day is just getting started, so I'm all excited for Christmas Eve! Oh, what to do, what to do?!! Wait...I just thought of something. Most of you are going to have Christmas before me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAH!!!!!! Not fair!!! T.T

So what am I going to do today? Um...I think help my mom get some food ready for tomorrow. We're going all out on the Filipino foods, so I gotta help her prepare. Plus, we make some dishes like lumpia (eggrolls) for all our neighbors, which takes several hours to do. Ugh... Last year I made about two hundred eggrolls, and I think it's the same this year!

Ooops! Before I forget: THANK YOU everyone for commenting and welcoming me back from my break! You all don't know how much that meant to me. It felt so good to have a warm welcome. You all are so great!! *huggles everyone*

Ok, so, what have I been up to lately? Um... Friday was work but it was a dead zone in the office, so my coworkers sent me home. Actually, when they found out I hadn't done my Christmas shopping, they scolded me and sent me out the door. They told me going home was not an option; I had to do my shopping!! >.< So I kidnapped my brother and took him shopping with me. I didn't find a present for my dad, since he bought his own present (he just couldn't wait, could he??), which means my brother and I are going to reimburse him. That way we can say we "bought" my dad's present. I also didn't buy my mom anything because I'm making her present. I'm painting her portrait, and it's taking freak'n FOREVER!!! GAH!! I'm hoping to get it done by the 29th, which is my mom's bday. As for my brother, he's getting a new pellet gun, so I bought his ammo. He so loves me now, especially since I bought him several thousand pellets (only $23 so I don't mind).

What am I getting for Christmas? Nothing! Ha ha! At least, nothing from my family. They kept asking me what I wanted, and I kept telling them I didn't want anything, which is true. I don't need anything, so I told them to save up their money. I want a new car as my college graduation gift. Hee hee!!

Saturday was filled with cleaning and retarded people. >.< The bridge next to my house has been closed since the flooding, and some retarded people went ahead and crossed it. With semitrucks. Filled with people. It was a privately held Christmas parade. -_____- How stupid is that?!!! The bridge is structurally dangerous and you want to drive over it with semis!!!!! As if all the warning signs IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD weren't enough. So the cops came and put the signs back in place because the retarded people ACTUALLY MOVED THEM OUT OF THE WAY to cross the bridge.

Then Sunday was filled with church and playing Rook. I got owned. T.T

Monday was crazy. My mom wanted to go shopping. SHOPPING!!! T.T I don't like to shop, and my mom LOVES to shop. So, I spent four hours dealing with ridiculously lone check out lines, crazy drivers, crazy shoppers, packed parking lots, and slow traffic. The only good thing from Monday was that I was able to get the Christmas gifts for my coworkers. >.<

Yesterday was normal but boring. Just work. It's ok though since yesterday is the only day I'll be working this week!! How cool is that?!!! Since I work part-time, I have Mondays and Wednesdays off. [I had those days off for school, and since spring semester I have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays as well, I'll be keeping the same work schedule.] Then Thursday is Christmas, so the office is closed. Then Friday my boss is giving everyone the day off and she'll work in the office by herself! She says she figures business will be really slow, so there's no reason for us to be there. YESH!!!! I love my boss. She's the definition of awesome. ^.^

So yeah, that's my "exciting" life. >.< And if you just read all that, I give you a cookie!! Oh! As for the family that got flooded out of their home, they're moving back into their home today!! We all worked overtime to get their house repainted, refloored, and new furniture put in. Even though the family pretty much lost everything, we were able to get new stuff for them. I think it's such a blessing they can move into their home on Christmas Eve!! Yay!

Well, I'm off to finish my commenting. Everyone have fun with friends and family today and tomorrow!

Poem of the Day:

Christmas Fun

The tempting gifts are tantalizing;
About opening them, we are fantasizing.
The holiday foods are appetizing;
Our excitement and joy are growing and rising;
Our hearts and minds are harmonizing;
Jolly Christmas fun we're maximizing!
