   ::fasting::

Well, for those who are interested, we Muslims will be fasting for a whole month, which will be from Oct 3 to Nov 4, I think. I'm not really sure about the dates. After that, we'll have the Eid Fitri! The Eid Fitri is really really awesome. It's a clelebration of the ending of the fasting month. Everyone will be at their best, there'll be food that is specially cooked for this special occasion. Meaning: theres some things that you will only get to eat at this time of the year! I can't wait! And for the kids, we'll get 'green packets' from the elders, which will contain money. ^^ Also, during this period, we'll go and visit our relatives. We go visit my extended family only once a year, can you believe that? And Sinagpore is so small! That's really bad. But it's fun! Especially when my friends and I gather and we go and visit our teachers, kind of raiding their houses of food, and of course, money! ^^; But this will only come after one month of fasting.    Stuff to do...

I'm feeling quite happy now that I have something to do. I have an errand to run for my mum, then I'll be going to the library. Reading distracts me a lot. I just signed up for the Ramadan Youth Challenge. We'll be doing fun fun stuff, like cleaning up old folks homes and stuff like that. Then there's the Youth in Charge programme where I'll be helping with the preparations for the iftar: the breaking of fast. And yes, I'm a Muslim. Ramadan, ie, the fasting month is approaching, we start fasting in October. ^^ A stupid quiz...    ... a friendship, if destined, is forever...

Greetings! I am feeling quite elated today... maybe because I've found some Scrapped Princess fanlistings and fansites. I love Chris! I've never been all over an anime character like this since Syaoran Li from CCS and Athrun Zala from GSEED. I'm also quite pleased at the amount of screeshots they have, although it's too bad that not many people have watched this anime. It's really good, and very heartfelt. ^^ Especially the big-brother-protect-little-sister part. Should I write a summary? If anyone wants to read, of course. ^^ Since I'm currently on break until November, I'm at a loss. Should I get some part-time job, or something? Or should I just sit at home and do housework? Decisions, decisions. Yesterday, my Mum made a speech at the 'We can make a Difference' seminar. It's held because of the World Alzheimer's Day. I'm not really sure when the actual day is. But this Alzheimer disease causes old people to lose their memory. This happened to my late grandmother. It's really sad. That's Chris. He reminds of Syaoran from CCS.    Woes of someone on a seven week break

Ah... finally got a good night's sleep last night. For the last few days, my sleep has always been interrupted by something or other; that is, my exams. I had my last two papers yesterday, and it was a big fiasco. Everyone was so stressed, and it affected me, too. Normally during the exams I'd be calm and collected, not at all stressed. But yesterday, watching my friends study frantically, I found myself getting a bit panicky that I haven't remembered those formulas completely. That never happened to me before. Well, it's all over, so let bygones be bygones. This morning, my parents decided for a family outing. We went to a food expo. It was cool, every stall we stopped at offered us a sample of the food that they were selling. One stall offered chocolate cake - delish!:) - another offered a lychee drink. The people there said: "Every stall you stop and eat and drink. By the time you go through the whole place, you'd be full." ^^ My sister and I bought a kebab. We only had mayonaise on it, though I'd like to see how a kebab would taste like with chilli sauce and sour cream on it, Kira style. ^^ My brother tried a salmon okonomiyaki, they called it Japanese pizza. ^^ Oh, yes! I changed my background. I thought it would be nice. Now that I'm on a seven week break, I'm thinking of working. But I'm too lazy! Though I'm going to make sure that I at least check everyone's sites every time I get online. ^^ I also vow to finish my long overdue fanfic. That should keep me occupied. Well, all the best, minna. Didn't get a good sleep last night. Took a quiz to settle my nerves. I've got an exam later today. Maths. Gah! Stomach pain! Yesterday's exam was okay.    ::cool anime!!!::

I watched the first episode of Scrapped Princess yesterday, and there was the cutest, coolest and most drool-worthy guy on that show! His name's Chris~! ^^ My sis came back from a computer fair today with a lot of flyers. And demanding that we all share to buy this digital and video camera cum mp3 player. Hah! I want an mp3 player that can double up as a thumb drive. So that I don't need to use diskettes anymore. When I was doing my website project, I was using that outdated method of storing files. So my friend was all like, "Diskettes?" in disbelief. I said that as long as it works, it's fine. ^^ Found this cool picture. I love Lyserg Diethel from Shaman King! Love y'all.    ::hehe::

Feeling a little elated today. Tomorrow, 1st of September, is Teacher's day, and this morning my friends and I went back to our old school to visit our teachers. We were so happy to see each other again! We all went to different institutes of higher education after graduating, and don't get to see each other very often. So there was nine of us there, and we met in McDonalds. When I went in, we started screaming and hugging each other, stuff like that. I think we kinda scared some people eating their breakfast in that restaurant. Girls screaming and making noise all of a sudden. Very intimidating, no? Well, after all that screaming, we bought a cake for our teachers, and a sunflower for our principal. And when we arrived at school, we kinda made a big fuss with the teachers, and also kinda spoiled the performance. See, every Teacher's day, the three graduating classes will be performing something for the teachers, because they'll be leaving. Of course, we didn't intend to interrupt the performance, but couldn't help it. ^^ Our teachers miss us. We missed them more. After all that fuss, while the teachers were eating,(a feast was laid out for them! by the juniors, maybe) we mingled and talked to them,about school,life and all. Man, t'was a fine, fine day. ^^ When we finally departed, my best friend and I went to get some ice cream. We went to a shop selling all kinds of anime stuff. My best friend got a really cool Haro. It's kinda shaped like a pokeball, come to think of it. But it's pink, and very much like a Haro Lacus owns. It doesn't talk or bounce, though. There was a figurine inside, and she got Athrun. She's a Kira fan, and absolutely hates Shinn. ^^ Wow... I'm talking too much... I think this has got tobe my longest post yet. Hehe... May God Bless, minna. ^*^*^*^*^ I will not allow mediocrity.    ::banging head on table::

Why am I not studying? What is it with me and procrastination? My exam is in a week and I haven't even opened my book yet! Okay... to less gloomier matters... I watched Peacemaker, and it was kinda cool. The TV station put a PG on the show, so I guess it'll get violent. The show remids me of Kenshin, though, with the samurai stuff and all... And Shaman King has ended... the ending was quite funny, especially the Horo part. ^^ And they're going to play Scrapped Princess. Anyone heard of it? I haven't. Still on less gloomier matters, I read the first volume of Full Metal Alchemist. It was... funny. I especially liked the Flame Alchemist, Colonel Roy. He's cool ^^ ::in danger of becoming a fangirl:: Also, I read the first volume of Ouran High Host Club. I loved it! Twas cool! Okay... back to gloomier matters... I'm on a one week holiday. It's named Study Week. So I have to study. Eight chapters of Human Anatomy and Physiology, thirteen chapters of Circuit Analysis, six chapters of Digital Fundamentals, and eight chapters of Engerneering Mathematics 1. One week. Damn. Time check: 2100. I've been on the computer since 1800! Wow... Currently trying to edit my report... all 28 pages of them. It may be group work, but I'm the editor, and this report is due tomorrow. I have a lab test tomorrow on digital circuits at 9am, which I haven't studied for... yet. There's a new anime that took Inuyasha's place: Peacemaker. Heard of it anyone? Cause I haven't. Oh, yeah... I still have to print this bloody report... luckily the school printer will be available. And my test tomorrow... I think I shall not waste any more time.    Quick update...

Currently working on my webpage. Truly, this is a LOT of work. Just to get my 40% for my exam. The things I do to excel! Am now looking for welcome signs. It's really hard to find, all I see is enter, hiatus, or moved signs. I think I'll end up making my own. But a good thing though.
