   I'm bored.

I'm bored again. Monday's reunion at the beach with my old friends was fun. And now my nose and cheeks are a little sunburnt. We played captain ball on the beach at noon. The sand was hot, and the heat was sweltering. >_< But it was, fun, running around the besch, though I became the goalie, and did less running than my friends. ^^ hehe.

Yesterday was fun, too. My friend Ami and I, along with my younger siblings went to the bookfest. And mangas were seling at 10% off. So my sis and I bought five of them. Tsubasa 11, FMA 5, Zig Zag, Vampire Knight and Negi 9. ^^ Manga fest! And yesterday was St White's. So happy St White's everyone! ^^

Today I did the cooking and will be doing the ironing, since my Mum's on a day course. And I have to do the ironing because my younger brother will be going on his band camp tomorrow until saturday. More time on the computer for me! ^^

Also, tomorrow and friday I'll be going on a workshop organised by the Math Clinic in my school, specially for Math Mentors. I'm a Math Mentor, which means that I tutor the less skilled students in my school in maths. The workshop is about Improving Peer Tutoring Skills. ^^ I was supposed to go with my friend, but she cancelled last minute. So now I'm going alone, and I won't know anyone there! >_< Gah! Oh well. I'm an independent girl!

With. So cUtE~!
DNAngel's With. He's so cute~! ^^

I'm off to iron the clothes. I'll be back in two days time. ^^ All the best everyone! ^^ Take care, and may God Bless.

   Life

My exam results were released yesterday. And I got all As with four distinctions. >_< I was like, WHAT?! Shocked but happy. I didn't expect a Z grade (distinction) for Java Programming, Technical Comm Skills and Biochemistry, but I expected one for Sociology. But, I'm grateful for the great results. First time I've scored straight As. So now my GPA stands at 3.94. ^^ I'm happy!

I had mentoring this morning. Those eleven year old kids were hard to handle. They talk balk, rebel and refuse to listen to instructions. And to top it all off, it was so hot! We were playing a game at the basketball court. It was aneasy game, but the kids were all over the place! >_< It was hard to convince them to actually do the Maths revision papers. They just simply don't listen to instructions!!!

On to other things... My old classmates have decided to hold a reunion picnic at the beach. It's been awhile since I saw my friends, and went to the beach. ^^ And I'll make sure I'll have fun!

So, to all of you out there who's stressing over school, I wish you all the best. Take care, and until next time! ^^

I'm hungry. And sleepy. And I can't eat until 1920 today, because I'm fasting. Well, life goes on.

Quick update: I went around a lot of sites today, signing guestboooks.^^ I am so impressed at some of the sites around. I feel so amatuerish. Still, I shall improve myself. ^^

Off to watch beyblade now. All the best to all of you with schoolwork. ^^ Take care~!

And I've always liked this picture. ^^

   Screen sucking

I read the TIME magazine the other day, because I didn't have anything better to do. And there was this article that said that multi-tasking is actually bad, and quality of work decreases with the more tasks you juggle.

Well, I've been multi-tasking all the way through school, and I find that it's a waste of time doing one thing only when I can do more than once. Quality of the work I do is fairly constant, and I get good marks for all my papers... lol. I guess different people have different styles. ^^;

Another thing I read about is Obsessive Online Compulsive Behaviour. I'm not really sure about the name but, it's technicallly screen-sucking. Staying online doing unnecessary things long after you've finished what you needed to do, or actually haven't done it yet. >_<

Ahaha. I'm a victim of this screen-sucking. I think a lot of us are. I find myself going through my favourite websites when I'm supposed to finish an essay due the next day. Of course, I'll end up doing the essay, but it takes a lot longer than it should. And then I'll be multi-tasking, juggling the web and the essay at the same time. ^^; Maybe I'm just a procrastinator.

Still, I hope this info will help us realise our working habits, especially when it comes to doing reports and essays on the computer. I'll make myself avoid connecting to the internet when I'm supposed to be typing up an essay from now on. I hope it'll make my work better, and take a lot less time.

Haha. Fat chance. Still, we'll see. -_-; All the best with school, everyone!

   Freedom!

Yeah! I've finished all my papers. My exams are over! Yeah! ^^ I'm so happy! I've officially finished my first year in polytechnic. ^^ No more work until April. ^^ I'm a little hyper... lol.

Okay, so now I'm on vacation. School won't open until April, and I've got about 6 weeks of lazing around at home, doing housework. The laundry and the ironing has to be done by someone. And I bet I'll be roped into doing it. >_<; A filial daughter? More likely a girl who has nothing better to do.

Things I must do during my 6 week break:
1. Clean my room weekly. At least sweep the floor. -_-;
2. Write something! Writer's block sucks.
3. Not to spend too much time on the computer and the tv.
4. Do everything I'm supposed to do.

All the best, everyone, with all the papers and such. School can really suck, ne? ^^ :hugs:

   Quick post.

GYAHH~! I've got four papers coming up in the next four days, and I'm starting to feel stressed. I'm sure the rest of my friends are already stressed. It's just me - slow to panic and the last to get stressed.

And to think I have only covered half the material needed for these papers. I'm not worried about the first two: electronic devices and maths, but I'm really starting to worry about the last two: biomedical fundamentals and biochemistry. >_<; Lol. I think I'm about to burst with the amount of information already in my head.

Still, I work better under pressure. Else I'll procrastinate. Which is what I'm doing right now. And to think my first paper is tomorrow.

Excuse me while I go study. I'll be back thursday. ^^ All the best, everyone, and wish me luck!

   Ah...

Wow... I seem to be going online quite often lately... even though I've got four exams to study for. Still, first and foremost, I'd like to thank CC, rei and Shishou for being so understanding! >_<; I'm a bit hyper right now... maybe because I've already strated studying, and all those voltages and currents have come into my head. Good thing is, I'm sure I'll be able to remember all those circuit formulas when it comes to the crunch. ^^

Still, I wonder if I can actually finish studying on time... I've got seven days left, in cluding today and the weekends to study four subjects - Electronic Devices, Engineering Maths, Biomedical Fundamentals and Biochemistry. I'm trying to study as much as I can, and also to keep off foods that can possibly make me sick. It'd be really bad for me to get sick when I'm supposed to be studying.

So, wish me luck everyone! ^^ And I wish you all the best for your exams and tests and whatnot. ^^

14 Feb edit: HAPPY VALENTINE'S! ^^

Muslims, please read...

To non-Muslims, I hope you all won't be offended, you don't have to read it if you don't want to... but I'd like to share this, for this is serious news. May God Bless.

Assalamualaikum,

(Scientific Proof)
As the strong belief of we muslims is that when the sun will rise from west rather than east, that time will be the biggest identity of The Day Of Judgement (Qiyamah). And the door of Forgiveness will be closed on that day.

The science of astronomy states that the speed of planet Mars has been decreasing in its course towards the eastern direction in the few past weeks to the level we notice the "waver" between the east and the west..and on Wednesday the 30th of July the planet movement stopped going toward the eastern direction..!!!

Then in the months of August and September... Mars changed its course in the opposite direction to the West- and that until the end of September.. which means the sun will rise now from the west on Mars!! And this weird phenomena of the opposite movement called "Retrograde Motion" Most scientists state that all the planets will go through the same once at least and our planet Earth is one of them. Planet Earth will move in the opposite direction some day and the sun will rise from the west!! This might occur soon and we are unaware when it'll happen. Our beloved messenger Mohammad Sallallahu Aleyhe Wa'alahi Wasallam said: "One of the signs of the hour.. the sun will rise from the west, where no longer tauba (forgiveness) will be granted" !!

And the strange thing.. most of our Shariah scholars mentioned that the rise of the sun from the west occurs only once.. on that day.. the sun will rise from the west.. then again from the east.. and continues until Allah wishes.. and this is similar to what is happening to Mars.. it stops, then it changes its course of direction for a short period of time.. then returns to way once it was.

Abu Hurayra(R.A.) narrated that the Messenger of Allah Subahna'uwaTa'ala said: "The day of the hour will not come until the sun rises from the west, if it rises and the people saw it they will all believe, when a time where nothing will be accepted anymore of believe the truth." [Abu Bukhari, Muslim]

From Abu Hurayra (R.A.) that the Hazrat Mohammad Sallallahu Aleyhe Wa'alahi Wasllam said: "Start with the six actions (he mentioned) the sun rising from the west." [Muslim] And Abdullah Bin Amro (R.A.) said: "I memorized from the Messenger Sallallahu Aleyhe Wa'alahi Wasallam a hadith I will never forget.. I heard the messenger of Allah Subhanau WaTa'ala say: The first aya to come the rise of the sun from the west[Ahmad] And the Messenger Sallallahu Aleyhe Wa'alahi Wasallam said: "Allah Subhanau WaTa'ala places His hand at night to forgive his morning sinners, and places in the morning to forgive his night sinners until the sun rises from the west." [Muslim]

This piece of news is very important as it brings with it a great sign of warning and remembrance of the coming of a new WORLD - the world of the Hereafter.. And it is also good material for calling others to ALLAH Subhana'uwaTa'ala. Whether for muslims, the unwary of us or the kufar. When we show this hadith that was told 1400 years ago about this miracle you will see !!!!

InshaALLAH, a lot will enter this beautiful religion... And the muslims if they see this phenomena happening in Mars.. who knows maybe it would bring them closer to our CREATOR. May Allah Subhanau WaTa'ala keep all of us in the Right path and provide us with success in this world as well as in the hereafter.

I think I dont have to say that "Please Pass It On".... You'll do it yourself InshaAllah...

May Allah Bless us.

   >.<;

Well, what can I say? I'm glad that I actually submitted my java project last week. Because if I had handed it in today, my lecturer would've asked so many questions. >_<; Some of my friends got a lot of questions. Ugh. Lucky me! ^^ Still, I'm wondering whether I did the right thing. But it's behind me now, and thank you all for your support! ^^

And now all I need to do is get the points for my class' presentation on DNA. And type them into the powerpoint slides, and give them to my friend to animate and beta. And all work will be done! ^^ I'll be free until the exams!

Which is in two weeks time. -_-; Next week is the study week, and I'm supposed to study for it... >_<; I won't get a break until the end of February. Two more weeks until freedom! YAY! ^_^

Well, off to do my work. All the best for your exams and tests and such. And get well soon, if you're sick. -_-; Everyone's sick lately. I hope I won't get the flu. >_<; Take care! ^^

   I'm so ashamed.

I'm going to confess something. This is the first time I've done this, and going to be the last time I do something like this. I hope. What I've done is really bad, and if I'm found out, I would fail my Java Programming, and will have a school criminal record. >_<;

My offence: I copied a whole chunk of my friend's code. Because I was too lazy to type it all out myself, and couldn't understand parts of it.

I'm so dead!

If I get found out, I could fail the whole subject. I'll be able to answer my tutor's questions, but... I feel guilty. I could have done by myself, but I didn't, and I copied someone's work. Plagiarism is a heavily punished offence. -_-; I don't think I can sleep well tonight.

Still, I'm desperate. I need to hand this thing in tomorrow, and all I could do is copy. I feel so... so defeated. I've always prided myself as someone who'd finish my schoolwork without resorting to copying someone else's.

Oh well. What's done is done. Take care, all. I'll go brood now.
