   My brain cells are tired...

::sigh:: My projects, and quizzes and tests are looming over me! They're all backed up, one after another. I've got a maths test tomorrow, plus technical report to hand in. The day after, another assignment. Then tests for the next two consecutive days. Next week... I can't bear to think of what will happen! ::hysterical scream:: I have to study! Study study study!

So, that is my most convinient excuse for not visiting everyone's sites. So, if you will pardon me, I am going to finish writing my report, then study for my maths. ^^ Wishing the best of luck to everyone out there who is as fortunate as I am to be having tests and exams coming up.

God Bless. Peace be upon you all.

My take on Life in School

At the tender age of sixteen going on seventeen, most adults usually see me as a teenager, similar to the hundreds they see on the road everyday. The sometimes unruly, uncouth, boisterous and nonchalant young people going about their life blissfully and conveniently unaware. Maybe it's just me, but having come into a polytechnic with a more morally-disciplined upbringing than most, I can see why. And I understand perfectly.

When I first entered this school, I observed my friends; interacting, playing, their behaviour, generally. I do not see them as young adults. Most of them behave in a way that I can only describe as 'hooligan'. I am astounded that these people are allowed to integrate with the mainstream society. They are students, yet they skip classes as they will, and hardly put in an effort at all. Their devil-may-care attitude really vexed me, and still does.

You may be thinking, dear reader, "Not all varsity students are like that!". I assure you that that is true. Though I may be a little biased; everyone has their opinions; I do see some truly diligent and mature students here and there. Their academic performance exceeds expectations, if not outstanding. Their achievements are many. They are well-mannered, trustworthy. These are the students who will one day take over the governing of the country. The ones who will decide the country's not too distant future. Imagine the bedlam if the 'hooligans' were handed the government's work. Fortunately, our current leaders are not nincompoops.

Life in school among ruffians and intellectuals is definitely a meaningful challenge. For an above average student like me, I have to keep up with my peers, or else be looked down upon, for the most part, everyone is obsessed with the paper-chase for qualifications.

Nevertheless, life is not all about work, for humans are not machines. I am accountable for my own learning, because my parents trust me to know what is best for myself. I have been given freedom to choose my path, and with freedom, comes responsibility. But the most important reason why I strive for success: my future depends on it. There is nothing more effective than the primitive need for self-preservation and a comfort-filled life.

Heh. What's your take?

   Hallo!

I'm in the middle of downloading an anime episode, using bitorrent. This is my first time, and I really hope it'll work. But I should be doing my website content page! I'm such a procastinator.

Ah, yes! I'm supposed to put a link page on my website, and I'm wondering if any of you anime fans out there know any interesting general anime sites other than MyO, of course, that I can adveritse? Or should I advertise any of your MyO site instead? ^__^ Maybe I will. ^__~

Well, till we meet again. Ja!

   Hiya!

I'm in school, and I'm wondering if my choices for my Cross Disciplinary Subject is useful. I chose Introduction to Sociology as my first preference. Next is Introduction to Psychology. I love to observe people, and one of my future career prospects is to become a social worker.

Still, I found out from my sister that my home computer has received another virus! So now I have to debug the computer all over again. And to think that I just did that yesterday. Heh. Life is like that, I think.

Well, I need to go off and finish my projects. Life in a polytechnic is not as all out as it seemed to be. ^__^

May God Bless.

   I'm back!

Am I sleepy, it's 0145! I managed to get the computer all fixed up! Get this: the Hard Drive broke down, and my dad had to send it in for repair. The HD was replaced, and we lost all our files. Then, when we got it back, I found out that there was a virus in the system. Bloodhound.exe! I spent the whole night trying to fix it, and it finally worked! Thank you, GOD!

It's been awhile, ne? I went to a cosplay last weekend - CosFest 2005, and it was great! There was this giant Haro the Gundam SEED Destiny cosplayers were rolling around. It was huge, pink, and cute! There was also Ryu from Shaman King, and he won Best Male Cosplayer.

Maybe I should go to sleep... I'm too tired to stay up too long. Until next time.

God Bless.

   Hallo!!!

I am frustrated!!!!! WAAAH!!!!!! No myO, no AMVs, no long internet usage!!! I AM GOING TO BURST one of these days!

I spent the last weekend alone at home - because my whole family went on holiday, and I couldn't follow because it was my school term time. I had to cook my own lunch and dinner and water the plants and make sure the house is clean. But when my family came back, I had lots of food to eat! And they brought back rambutans from my uncle's orchard. They're very juicy, and I have a thing for juicy, sweet, fruit.

Well, I'm still on hiatus. I'm in my computer lesson in school, and I'm sneaking in a post. ^__^

May God Bless.
Peace be upon You.

   Hey... please help!

I have a favour to ask of all of you. Can you please answer these questions as truthfully and seriously as possible. This is a project that my sister is doing for school.

"What do youths aspire to be in metropolitan Singapore?" Even though it says 'Singapore', they also want to find out what youths from other countries aspire to be. So please be kind and take your time to answer this. I'm helping my sister to collect more data. ^__^

1) How old are you? (This is important, for statistics purposes)

2) Gender: Male or female?

3) Race: Malay, Chinese, Indian, etc

4) Country?

5) What do you aspire to be?

6) Why do you want to be what you want to be?

7) How do you intend to achieve your goal?

8) What influenced you to be what you want to be? (eg. Friends, Parents, Community, Mass media?)

Thank you very much! Love you all!
I'm posting this in Internet class, so as of the moment, all my updates are on Thursdays. Until next time, may God Bless.

   Waah!!!

I'm officially on hiatus. As in, my home computer is down for the count. I'm currently in school, and I'm posting this during a lesson. I know, I shouldn't do this, but I'm desperate. Hehe.

Somehow, my home computer's screen won't light up, so I don't think I'll update anytime soon. But I'm learning HTML in school, so I hope in the future, I'll be able to make my site nicer~!

Currently, as in, right now, we're learning how to upload documents to the school server, using FTP. Whatever that means! I'm not really good in using the Windows Microsoft platform, although it's the only platform that can support myO. My sister and my brother won't be updating anytime soon, either.

Well, there's work to do. Peace be upon you. God bless.

   Whahaha!

I have to start studying. Physics suck! I don't like Circuit Analysis. All those current and voltages and resisitors! They're exasperating! Then, there's Digital Fundamentals. All the bits and bytes and logic gates! ^__^; I concede... I need to study! Silly me... to think I thought that I needn't study! Ha!

Well, have fun you guys... it's summer... for you! ^__^ Peace be upon you!

   Ohh...

The winner of American Idol is Carrie. Yay! I never liked Bo. He's very... untidy. ^__^ No offense to any Bo fans out there.

Shaman King is the coolest! Ren is my favourite character. He reminds me of Kurogane from Tsubasa. He's hot-tempered, but deep down, he's a really nice guy. My type of guy! Undoubtedly, everyone has some faults, and I really don't understand why people don't realise that what they say will hurt someone, even themselves. Humans are strange. No one is perfect, but God Almighty. Humans are such sad creatures.

Well, my day tomorrow is from 0800 to 1300, but there may be make up lessons for some subjects, so I might have to stay in school longer. At least school has all the facilities that a person would want. You can use the computers for as long as you want. And they're connected to the internet. ^__^ School may be tedious, but it sure is fun.

Peace be upon you all, may God bless.
