   what would I say?

Okay, if you walked down the street in... The Bronx, and someone asked you to walk down this dark alley and walk inside this old bar where smokers and underaged drinkers hung out, would you do it? What if he said there was a guy wearing a suit who was going to give you a million dollars, what would you say? No, right? but, if he wasn't lying and you had to do it for a million dollars, You might say, due to the power of money:

Here is the random video of the day!!!!! please don't watch the end credits, BAD THINGS ARE SAID. but the video rocks!

   New chapter

Okay, so I got a new BG. I like it, I tried to get a billion others that I thought were cooler, but this one was the only one that fit, and I like it.
Okay, so I'm going to post the next chapter of my story, so here it is... I think it is chapter six, correct? I'll check...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FIVE: THE PACKAGE
Jordan walked up to the palace gates. He took a deep breath and walked in. The front foyer was enormous! Crystal chandeliers were hanging from the ceiling that was elegantly painted with cherubs and roman gods. Candles were held in golden holders that were spread all around the room. He stood for a minute admiring the artwork. Then he remembered that he was on a mission. He walked up to the woman sitting at the desk underneath a statue Atlas holding the globe.
“Uh… ma’am?” he asked.
“Hello," said the woman "Do you have an appointment?”
“A what…? Oh! No I don’t have one. I’m looking for Isabelle? Could I just go up to the hospital wing…?”
“I’m sorry sir, but if you don’t have an appointment you can’t see anyone at the castle.” Jordan blinked, not because he was being denied, but that no one had ever called him sir before.
“Maybe you don’t know who I am. I’m Jordan Leroy, son of Jonathan Leroy, you know, from the newspaper?”
“Sir, I don’t care if your from the newspaper, you don’t have an appointment, you can’t come in.”
"But my dad! He was the royal stable cleaner! And, if you were paying any attention to the newspaper, then you would know that he left me a package."
The lady was prepared for any scenario, if the king walked in to say hello to his wife without an appointment, then he would be locked out. He could tell that the woman didn't believe him.
"Looks like your going to find out yourself whether I'm lying or not."
"I'll get Isabelle, but if she doesn't know who you are, then you will be taken out of the palace by security." Said the lady.
She left the room, headed up some stairs, and disappeared behind some double doors.
*
Half an hour later, she returned. She did not look happy.
“You may go to the hospital wing.” She said through clenched teeth.
Jordan grinned smugly, "Told ya'," he said.
He began to walk up the stairs when suddenly, he remembered something vitally important. He hadn't a clue where the hospital wing is.
"Er… miss? Where is the hospital wing?" he asked.
"Down the hall, past the double doors, third door to your left, head up the stairs and take a left turn at the suits of armor, head up one more flight of stairs and you'll be there."
"How do I know that you're not lying?"
She smiled sinisterly. "You'll just have to find out yourself if I'm lying or not."
Jordan walked up the stairs, when the lady wasn't looking, he made a very rude gesture at her. He walked through the double doors. He was in a long hallway now, doors were spread out randomly down one wall. He counted three doors and walked through. There was a spiral staircase, he had no choice but to climb them. He found himself in another hallway. This one had suits of armor. He walked down the corridor and found the second hallway leading left. He walked down the hallway, and lo and behold, he found another staircase. He walked up and found himself, not in the hospital wing, but in a dark room that had a round table in the center that had a teacup on it.
"Hello? Is someone there?" called Jordan.
No one answered. Jordan turned around and started to leave. Next time I don't know where something is, I'll ask for a map thought Jordan angrily.
"Ahh… you have come for your fortune, have you not?" said an old voice behind him.
Jordan whirled around, "Who's there?"
A burly old woman appeared from the Shadows. Her face was wrinkled and so pale, it looked as if she hadn't been outside in years, and her hair was so white, it looked like bleached snow.
"Er… hi, no, I didn't come for my fortune , Could you tell me where the hospital wing is? I need to pick something up." said Jordan.
The woman smiled "First let Ioda tell you your fortune for you yes, young one?"
"Sorry miss, I really must be one my way."
"Very good, let us start with the tea leaves no?"
And before Jordan could respond, Ioda had sat him down and poured him a cup of tea. She motioned for him to drink it. He was going to say no when Ioda tipped the cup sending the scalding drink down his throat. He sputtered for a minute as his throat cooled down. He put the cup on the table and Ioda examined it closely.
She smiled, "I see friendship in your future. I also see moments of terrible power coming from you. You have many difficult times ahead of you, all of which will be faced with you and your friends."
Jordan frowned. "Are you sure that's my future? I don't have any friends. Considering that my dad was a pooper-scooper, I wasn't exactly the most popular kid in the kingdom."
Ioda smiled. "Friendship is not when kids choose to be your friend because you are wealthy, or your dad has an admirable job. Friendship is a special bond between two humans or animals. And this was a prediction from the future, you will have some friends eventually. The tea leaves have never been wrong before."
Jordan sighed. "Look, I need to be at the hospital wing right about now, so if you could just tell me how to get there, it would be really helpful."
Ioda nodded. "If you saw correctly, there were two doors at the end of the stairs. Just leave this room and turn left and you'll see it."
Jordan turned to leave. At the door he turned around and said, "Thanks for telling me my future. Oh! And thank you for telling me about the hospital wing."
The old lady simply nodded and waved her hand signaling: Don't mention it. Go! Jordan turned and left the room. He turned to his left, sure enough, there was another door to his left. He couldn't believe how blind he was! He walked through the door and found himself in a room with hospital beds and a lot of futuristic equipment.
"Hello?" he called, "Isabelle?"
A woman appeared from behind a curtained bead.
"Oh, hello. You must be Jordan Leroy, right? You're here for the package, right?''
Jordan nodded. "Yes, I have. Um… where is it?"
She motioned to her desk. "It's over there. Just take it and go. Nothing personal, but I have a ton of work to do."
"I understand." Said Jordan.
Jordan walked over to the desk and picked up the package. It was oddly shaped and was wrapped in a brown packaging paper. It was heavy for it's size. It was only the size of his palm and weighed at least four pounds. He slipped it into his pocket and walked out of the room. He headed back to the foyer. On the way he slipped into a lavatory stall and opened the package. It was an amulet! It was shaped like a tear drop and had a stunning blue color to it. It also had a string around it. The loop that it was fastened to looked like a key handle. He noticed a piece of paper in the packaging. He pulled it out only to discover that it was a note.
It read:
This is my gift to my son, Jordan. This amulet is one of the three legendary amulets of Gargontha, that are said to be able to bring balance to the forces of nature. By placing this to your chest, it will turn into a mage's staff. You are the chosen one for this amulet and only you can use it. You must go to the forest of Gantha and practice your magic under the guidance of Sanforde. Also know as Safor. You are the last hope to the universe. You must team up with the legendary sword bearer and shield bearer. Together you can close the door and stop the balance from becoming completely destroyed.
-Jonathan Leroy AKA Your Father
Jordan was speechless. Him? The chosen one? Wow! So all he has to do is find two guys with magical weapons and save the universe. No pressure. Jordan sat for a minute to let that sink in. He responded like any sensible person would have. He passed out.
*
Jordan woke up with his face on the lavatory floor. Charming. That's exactly how he wanted to wake up. With his face on the floor of a bathroom. He quickly stood up. How long had he been unconscious? He looked out the window. By the looks of it, only a couple of minutes. He checked his hand. Good, the amulet was still there.
Time to test it out. He put the amulet to his chest. Instantly the amulet got extremely hot. He tried to drop it, but his hand seemed to be stuck to it. It glowed white and suddenly, the heat was gone. It grew longer and longer while it glowed so brightly white, you could only see the outline of it! Suddenly the light died down and in his hands, was a staff. However, the heat had left a mark on his palm that looked like a river. Three wavy lines: ~ ~ ~.
It had a long wooden handle that looked as if leprechauns had carved it. It was long, slender, and so smooth, that it would be impossible to get a splinter. On it's top, there was a blue stone shaped like a teardrop. It seemed to glow slightly with an unknown light.
Now how do you turn it back into an amulet? Thought Jordan.
He concentrated for all he was worth and the staff turned into an amulet again.
"Hmm…" said Jordan "I wonder…?"
He turned the amulet into a staff again. This time he just thought the word amulet, and the staff turned into an amulet. He tied It around his neck and headed to the foyer. The lady was still sitting at the desk. He didn't feel like talking to her so he just ducked down where she couldn't see him and crawled out.
*
Jordan walked through his front door and packed his things. He walked back out and started walking towards the town. He decided to use the staff like a walking stick. He wondered if turning it into a weapon worked like turning it back into an amulet. He untied the amulet from his neck and thought the word staff instantly, it turned into a staff. He put the end into the ground and continued down the trail.
In a few hours, he reached the town. He pulled up his hood so no one would know that he was a kid. He walked into an inn and walked up to the counter.
"How much for a room?" asked an old man.
A fat man with five chins looked down at him. "Well, old timer," he said pleasantly "We have normal rooms for thirty-two Kendrels a night. But for senior citizens, it's only sixteen. How long are ya' plannin' to stay?"
"One night will do fine. Here you go." Said the old man. He gave the man sixteen Kendrels.
The man gave the old sir a bronze key. "Here ya' go. You'll be stayin' in room three o' nine. Third floor. Can't miss it."
"Thank you," said the old man and headed up the stairs.
Halfway to the third floor, Jordan took off his hood. He had played old man well. Not that he liked lying, but he didn't have that much money and he really needed a room. He continued to the third floor. He got there in a few minutes.
He walked slowly down the hall, checking all the doors for the number 309. There! He found it. He stuck his key into the lock and turned it. The lock clicked and the door swung open. Jordan stepped inside. It was a quaint little room with red wallpaper and a single bed with a bedside table and oil lamp.
He decided to go to bed early tonight, he was tired, and being shocked can take a lot out of you, and, after all, tomorrow he set out to save the universe.
   a solved crime
This is a 100% true story, none of it is made up, though it will be written as a story.
So I went camping, and on the territory of where we were camping was this old house- a doctors office. So I go up to the old door and push. its locked. so I poke around and find a big brass rusted key. I pick it up and put it in the lock, and eventually the door opens. I walk in and the whole place is really dusty and filled with 200 year old books, one of them from 1712!!
Then I go around and trip over this big box, labeled Dr.Hampton Lawrence 1859. So I open it out of pure curiosity and guess what I find? an old scalpel. I go poking around some more and find this old picture of a girls grave: Ruth Spraque. Next I find an old newspaper, labeled GIRL ABDUCTED AND DISECTED AFTER DEATH. So I read it and it says that this girl was taken in 1859, at nine years old by a Dr. HAMPTON LAWRENCE. I take the evidence I found that says she was disected at the table I was sitting at, for it was a one room building with a large table. I thought that was pretty neat, I felt like a cop from CSI or something, even though it was a simple story.
what do you think?
   jokes
Okay, so I was distraught. Now I'm happy again!!!!
Anywho, I have a few jokes for you (I'm bored, canya tell?).
Okay.
So I was talking to god and I say:
"God, how much is $100000000000000000000 to you?"
And he says:
that is like a penny to me!
"How long is a millenium to you?"
IT is like a second to me!
"God, can I have $100000000000000000000?"
Let me think about that for a minute...
And I haven't heard from him since.
I thought that was funny...
