Hat Trick!
So I spent some time drawing on Sunday and managed to squeeze out 3 pictures. They are all Naruto. Two of them go together. I was going for a series using the Naruto Characters to explore the themes of Light versus Dark. Any who I will post the three pics for your enjoyment below. And I know this isn't anime but for those interested in my art outside of anime, I put together a space piece. I really think they make the best desktops and this ended up being alot of fun. Alphonse Elric and Hockey
For those of you who have played a hockey game (glances over at Grif), you might know it isn't easy getting right to sleep if the game starts at 10:00pm. I was going full bore when I got home tonight at 12:30am and needed something to do to calm down and relax. I threw together a quick 2 hour or so drawing of Mr. Alphonse Elric. Check it out below. Haruhi Suzumiya
So I took a short break from my pile of requests that I am working on and decided I wanted to work with some for-shortening and perspective. I chose Haruhi Suzumiya as my model. I think she has the prettiest eyes in all of anime. Any way the final result is below if you want to check it out. I thought I would be cleaver too and I gave her a necklace with Earth on it. Faye
She really is my favorite anime character hands down. I think its because of the story I have in my head for her. I was working on this piece for a little over a week now. The details were ruined when I scaled it down to fit on the web. On the printed version I have brushed metal on the gun and jean textures on the pants. This piece really means a lot to me because its an image from the conclusion of my studios fan fic.
