   Mawaru, mawaru, sekai wa mawaru...

How was everyone’s Thanksgiving (for those who celebrate it; to others, how was the rest of your week?) Mine was pretty good. ^-^ Thursday my family went to my Grandpa Denny’s house for Thanksgiving dinner, and to spend the night. My Aunt Holly, Jay (her long-time fiancee), and my cousin Lexi was there, as well as my Grandma Thompson. Later my Great Grandma Darlene came, and then my Uncle Donnie and Aunt Stacie with my three younger cousins, Robert, Zach, and Nathan. *shudder* No body really appreciates it when they all show up...My uncle is fine, it’s his wife and kids that are the problem. Stacie constantly bitches at him and the kids, and the boys are just plain annoying. My dad had said before he even got there that he had already taken his aspirin. XD I love my dad...We all got our food when they got there. I had a little bit of turkey, some garlic-mashed potatoes, a little bit of sweet potato, a roll, a slice of pumpkin bread that my mom made (like banana bread only pumpkin, FYI), and some of the cookie-pudding salad my mom also made. It was really yummy! After we ate, Lexi and I asked Grandpa is we could use the computer (to get away from our other cousins...*coughcough*). He said we could and we went to the back room and she got on her MySpace to show me her friends and add me. After a while she wanted to go outside and play some football (she’s kind of preppy, but she’s sort of a tomboy, too; I at least get along well with her... ), so she let me get on and do what ever I wanted. =3 I thus went to YouTube and watched videos, including Miyavi’s new ones. I watched some Ayabie lives and comments, too. Lexi came in and had me watch two hilarious videos, “Shoes” by Kelly, and “Charlie goes to Candy Mountain”. I highly recommend the latter! XD After that, people started to leave. My brothers and I slept in the living room with the dogs, who always sleep with company. Benji (Shih Tzu) slept with my brothers on the air mattress, and Bailey (Lhasa Apso) slept with me.

Grandpa and Dad had to go to work really early (for Black Friday–OH LAWDY!), and my mom had to go a bit later, so my grandma Christa went and got us all a McDonald’s big breakfast before taking Mom to work. We pretty much just lazed around the house all day until Dad picked us up to go get Mom. Mom works at Hallmark now since her optical store closed, but she enjoys it since she’s friends with the girls there. After we got Mom, we went to get some groceries then went home. I got my dog some raw hide bones since she didn’t have anything to chew on (aside from about four rope toys that she got tired of really fast.). And that’s about it...I’m still in my pajama’s, even after going outside (bundling up of course since it’s so freaking cold out!!!) and feeding my dog and giving her the raw hide. Well, now I’m going to show some pictures of the animals and Miyavi’s newest videos.

This is Bailey, one of my grandparents’ dogs. He pretty much rules the roost there...

This is their other dog, Benji. He originally showed up at our house a few years ago dirty and kinda’ matted, and my grandparents took him in. He’s very loveable and pudgy. *pokes him*

Haha! This is my giant kitty, Tiger. He snuck inside this day and came straight to my room, but I had my door shut since I was drawing. He just sat and meowed until I opened my door and he hopped onto my bed and rolled around and rubbed against me. X3 He’s such a sweet-heart, but he’s also the alpha male out of all our cats outside, despite being neutered. He doesn’t take shit off of anybody, even dogs that are five times his size. He’s definitely street smart and an excellent hunter.

And here’s my little *cough*brat*cough* princess, Dotti. She’s chewing on her new raw hide I gave her. I unintentionally spoil her with soft things to sleep on in her dog house outside (since she’s afraid to come inside [WTF?!]) and toys. For those who missed when I was talking about her before, she is half Jack Russell terrier and half Labrador retriever. You can tell she’s got terrier in her too; she’s extremely territorial and chases the neighbor dogs off despite them being bigger than her.

How has everyone been lately? I’ve been good. ^-^ Not much has really been happening, which is why I haven’t posted in a while. You may notice the new layout for November...It’s Yumehito, one of the guitarists in the Visual Kei band Ayabie. I’ve grown to love this young man (he’s only 22!) through reading translated journal entries of his...I still love Intetsu the most in Ayabie, but Yume-chun is a close second! He’s such a fanboy! He watches this show similar to Power Rangers called Kamen Rider and collects as many of the figurines and such as he can. He also loves Pokemon, Digimon, and other video games like them. He’s really good a drawing, too! When he was younger, he wanted to be a manga artist when he grew up, but he lost interest in high school and started playing guitar and joining bands. He also feeds the cats that live around his apartment, two of his favorites being Nekojirou and Kojirou. He’s a camera whore, too. X3

So, this weekend was a three-dayer for me since parent-teacher conferences were last week. I didn’t really do a whole lot aside from play .hack//:Infection, watch Orangutan Island and a dog show on Animal Planet, and Death Note on Cartoon Network. When they were showing the toy group, I payed special attention since both the Papillon and both types of chihuahuas were on there. And guess what? The Papillon was from Japan! He had apparently won a bunch of awards there and came to the U.S. to win some more. He didn’t win first, but he did get second place in the Toy group, so I was happy. ^o^

Yesterday my school had a Veteran’s Day celebration that took up a good portion of the morning, so we didn’t do anything a several classes. Today during second and part of third hour, those who signed up for it (meaning me) took this survey given by the University of North Carolina. It was pretty much about what we planned on doing when we got done with high school, and what high school is like for us and such. It was pretty awesome because those of us who took it got a bunch of coupons and such from the teachers as a form of showing their appreciation. The best one we got was a semester test opt-out card. I’ll more than likely get the other two opt-outs you can qualify for, bringing me to three. =D I also like taking surveys, too, so it was fun for me. XD At lunch, Yumi said something to David (who is part Native American, which we tease him for...not in a mean way, don’t worry) along the lines of “Pochantus, your speaking stick has been revoked!”, and I coughed and laughed at the same time while eating my sandwich and almost shot a pickle our of my nose...I tell you what, that shit burns... Ah! I finally decided and told Mr. Walser what I wanted his sister to bring back for me, too! I asked if she could get me an Ayabie live DVD. And for those who wondered, I will end up having to reimburse her...That’s okay, because a I have a bunch of money in my savings account for X-mas and such that I can use. I just hope that I’ll be able to talk to her about living in Japan and such...if I do, is there any questions anybody wants me to ask her? I’d be happy to pass them along. ^-^ I wonder if I would be able to maybe write to her and such, too...that would be really cool! =D Well, before I start spouting more nonsense, I’ll stop here. @__@; Ja ne, chun~!

Post time: p.m. CT
Music: Songs from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas
Mood: Chipper/Sing-a-longy

Thank you to those of you who have been commenting during my depression last week and the beginning of this week. I am feeling much more cheerful now. ^-^ I think that the turning point came to me right after leaving the commons after lunch on Tuesday...

Mr. Walser, our principal pulled me off to the side to talk to me. He then told me that Mrs. Peuse (=D! My at-school grandma~!) had told him that I was interested in Japan. He then proceeded to tell me that his sister has lived in Japan for the past 12 years. I guess she first fell in love when her college group went their for a military camp visit. Now she teaches children English at a school (I forget which island it was she lived on...>-<), and is working with a TV company or something of the sort to make a children’s show that teaches English. X3 She’s coming back to the states around Christmas time, and Mr. Walser wanted to know if there was anything “wild and crazy” I wanted her to try to get to bring back. I had to stop myself from screaming throughout the whole conversation! XD I’ve been thinking about what I wanted, but I can’t really think of anything, which is weird considering it’s me...any ideas? So yeah, that whole thing got me feeling a lot happier!

Wednesday (yay Halloween~!) Yumi came over to my house after school (1:30 early-out even!) and we watched the first two Saw movies. I don’t know why for sure, but I really want that pig mask...I can’t remember what it reminds me of, but it’s freaking awesome! >=3 When my parents got home, we went to Yumi’s house (her and me that is...) and ate rice and ice cream while watching some of the third movie. I didn’t get to finish it, so I let Yumi keep it and she gave it back to me Thursday. I watched it after school then, too. ^-^ Now we just have to wait for FOREVARZ until we can go see Saw IV! D= And X Japan’s new song is in the credits even! *whine* *sigh* Ah well...perhaps I can buy the song with my fancy new $10 iTunes card...Well, other than that, I don’t have much else to report. So I guess I’ll see you all around! *kisses und hugz*

   Dear diary...I fucking hate you
Post time: 6:30p.m. CT
Music: “JEALOUS [Reverse]” by Dir en grey
Mood: Pissed off/generally upset

Okay, so evidently I didn’t feel better because I didn’t post again last week. Just to get it out now and not worry about it later, that weekend Yumi and I spent the night at Kayla’s house...nothing very interesting happened aside from us seeing the Jrock commercial on IMF Sunday. This weekend I watched Death Note on Saturday night and went to Kayla’s on Sunday and brought my dog along so she could be socialized with other people/dogs. She seemed to have a lot of fun playing with the gigantic husky/wolf mix, Kiyara. Their sheltie, Angel didn’t like her very much, and their uber-mix breed, Cimarron, was scared of her because she was crazy hyper. It was pretty funny...That’s pretty much all the semi-good things that happened weekends-wise.

Last week I cried a few more times...I think I’ve recovered from that a little bit. Friday was the last football game of the season for my school and I was signed up for working concession stand after half-time. I got there earlier than my shift, so I hung out with Jade, Caitlyn, the other Jade that was at Caitlyn’s party, and a few other freshmen/sophomores from my school, plus Tenise and Amanda, who are seniors. When half time started, I said good-bye and went to help before the big rush started. There were only a few people there, and it pissed me off. It was me, Ashley, Nancy (who came in to work for Justin), another freshman girl, two or three parents, Mrs. Harris, and Mrs. W. About five people were missing. *facepalm* It was fairly fun, though, and I felt a little better from the week. Seeing Caitlyn again really helped...she’s so awesome and nice! ^o^

Last night there was this big show on the History Channel called The Lost Book of Nostradamus. It was focused on this new book they found with a bunch of water-color illustrations supposedly authored by the French prophet (teehee....Kyo-sama) to go along with his prophecies. Later on in the program, they figured out that the book found wasn’t the original, and that some of the paintings were done several decades after other ones. They pretty much said that the original was probably done by Nostradamus’s son as he explained them. The last seven paintings foretold the apocalypse. I suggest looking it up in Wiki sometime, or another source, since I can’t explain it very well...and I would want to go into a lot of detail, and it would take forever...the point is, I have a lot of respect for this 16th century man and his gift that he shared in his Quatrains. He foresaw so many things, and most of which have come true: Napoleon (the First Antichrist), Hitler (Second Antichrist), the bombs dropped on Japan, JFK’s assassination, and 9/11. There’s also evidence that he foresaw Bin Ladin as the Third Antichrist...I just really suggest those interested to look into it...

And today...Ah, how I thought a new week would be good and I could begin things better than the week before...oh, how I was mistaken. Everything was going good until I brought up watching Nostradamus and the end of the world being the year 2012 in U.S. History before class. I think I was the only one who believed in Nostradamus’s prophecies; I couldn’t get a word in edgewise (not surprising actually...I’m not very good at speaking my opinion out loud if it requires more than five words...) and it felt like every thing I held to be true was being shot down and proved false...They could have just merely disagreed with his predictions, but no; they went further than that and harassed what was said. I was fairly calm for a while, but my brain started to think on its own and by the time I got into Mrs. Harris’s room, I was crying.

I understand that everybody is entitled to their opinions, I know that, but it doesn’t give them the right to trod on other people’s beliefs like that. I know now how some people felt when they were prosecuted (maybe not so harsh, but similar); it’s like being told that no matter what you think, or hold to be true, is a lie and is wrong. Yes, “stand up for what you believe in” is very inspirational, but they never mentioned how difficult it would be when you’re the only one with those beliefs. Maybe I should just not state my opinion...I already am afraid to...if I don’t, I won’t end up getting hurt. I’m sorry, but that just makes me hate Christianity...no offense to any Christians, or anybody who believes in the Bible and such; the people in my school totally screwed my opinion of how they think and act, and from what I’ve experienced, it’s either their way, or no way at all...I say bring on the apocalypse; we’ve been deserving what’ll happen for a long time. I’ll have no regrets aside from not meeting a few choice idols...And don’t get me started on what some stupid ass said about “all Japs need to die” today, either...I could go on for months...

   Kill me gently...
Post time: 7:49p.m. CT
Music: “Chizuru” by The GazettE
Mood: ”Emo” (read as numb/lonely)

What is Happiness?
What is happiness?
It seems to be an emotion,
Though I haven’t felt it yet.
Why does it seem that everyone
But me has that assumed warmth?
Is happiness earned by
Possessing some special quality?
If so, I clearly don’t have it
Is happiness really an emotion?
Or is it just a simple way of saying
“Not sorrowful”?
Why do I seem to be the only one alone?
I know I’m not pretty, or physically attractive in any way,
But doesn’t personality count?
Or is mine not even worth the effort of knowing?
Of course, beauty seems to be what counts
In out society today.
That must mean I’ll never be truly happy...

What can I say? I get rather creative when I’m upset...Not that that’s a very good poem anyway. Today has to be one of the worst days I’ve had in a long time, and I don’t think I can blame getting my period last night, even though it’s a very likely culprit...so don’t be surprised if I sound bitchy on top of everything else...

I woke up this morning and totally felt like shit. I had a cramp, my body felt filthy, and it was cold out. I got to school and it seemed to go okay for a while, but I slowly got irrate with everything because my cramps where pissing me off until Mrs. Harris let me take some Midol at the beginning of photography. Then I watched The GazettE videos (Chizuru, Burial Applicant, Taion, SILLY GOD DISCO) while I worked on getting my digital pictures printed out. The Jrock helped until the printer decided it was going to make printing the contact sheets out...I was a little late getting to P.E., but not to the point of being tardy. We (Kayla, Jade, Nancy, myself) sat down in the weight room and talked with David and Grant for a good 10-15 minutes before our teacher finally came and told us to do our warm-ups and get to work. I asked David if he would go to Dir en grey if they came back to Omaha, and he said he would. That made me pretty happy for roughly the first time that day...to tell the truth, I think I’ve developed a small crush on him...*sigh* And that’s not a good thing because he’s still in love with Kayla. The whole break-up was rather confusing and stuff, so I’m not even going to try and explain it, aside from the fact that he cheated on Kayla during summer break. He had a lot of guts in talking to her lately, though he was scared to death at first. Evidently he called Kayla a few nights back and asked if she would give him a second chance...so Kayla was thinking about that during class.

I asked Austin during P.E. if he would go to DIRU if they came back, and he gave me a look that said ‘Are you retarded?’, and then said “Are you kidding?! Of course I would!” Then we started talking about the advantages of being familiar with the cities concerts are located at (He went to Marilyn Manson with Caitlyn when he was in Lincoln, NE). We went to SSR and we were doing okay, despite being a little tired and quiet. Then we somehow got on the subject of deceased family members, and Nancy (she’s our Chinese friend...she lived in China until she was 11) told us how her grandfather, whom she was really close to, had wanted to talk to her before he died, but when they called her, she wasn’t home to talk to him. That made EVERYONE at the table (myself, Kayla, Jade, and Nancy) start crying, having had similar deaths in our families. Then she talked about talking to her grandma afterwards about him, and that just made everything worse. We ended up taking our sadness with us to lunch, Jade crying about three times. I was depressed for the rest of the day and cried again when I rode the bus home. I think that Kayla decided to give David a second chance, because she didn’t ride the bus home and David drove to school. She also could have just got a ride with Ashley. But with how my day has been, I doubt that. Sorry for such a lame-ass post...

I might tell you about my weekend if I’m feeling better next time...(Actually, regarding the picture: If I died my hair that color, my hair is very similar to that style now...)

   Hannibal Lecter said oodles! XD
Post time: 9:12p.m. CT
Music: “Jewels" by alice nine.

How has everyone's week been so far? Good I hope! ^-^ This weekend was rather interesting. Saturday morning I got up and got ready to go to the Buena Vista University college visit day with my parents. Kayla and Ashley got there about the same time as us, so we got registered at roughly the same time. We got folders with a map of the school, a little brochure, and some papers listing the majors and minors available. After we got registered, we took a picture with the mascot, Beuford the Beaver. XD Then we sort of milled around in a little circle with random students coming over to talk with us about what we thought so far and what our interests were. Eventually a girl came up to us saying that she heard that we were looking at majors in art. Kayla and I said yes and she had us follow her to the end of the hallway we had come in through. She immediately said to the two other people sitting at the table, "Look! I found my people!" They then talked to us a little about what sorts of art courses they offered and gave us a brochure and a magazine they publish annually. Right after that, Ashley and I went to a short meeting about the Dean’s Fellowship. Basically, for the really smart people and people who really get involved in their school activities, it gave them even more benefits. The ones that I liked was the travel money; $500 for anywhere in the U.S., and $1000 for international travel. How that works is, if a club or class I’m taking is going to be traveling, and the money I don’t make from fund-raisers is fairly high, I can use some of that money. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get into that, though, and it’s going to either tick my mom off or highly disappoint her since she wants me to get into it if I go to BVU. *sigh* We’ll see...I might find another school I want to attend.

After that, there was a welcoming meeting for all the visitors, then we broke off into our different schools (Business, Communications and Arts, etc.) for the tour of the school. The main Comm. and Arts building was pretty interesting since it had a little T.V. studio, a huge computer lab with awesome computers, and it housed the local alternative rock radio station I listen to all the time. <3 After the tour we met with the guy in charge of our region (mine being North-West Iowa), and he told us some more about the school. And finally, we went to the luncheon. We were amazed since the Vice President of Admissions sat at our table and talked with us. Kayla and I had brought our portfolios in case we met with an art professor, but we never did. When we told the Vice President that, he said that he was disappointed, and that we should come back for a more personal visit. We thanked him when we got done eating a left.

Later that day, Yumi and her grandparents picked me up to go to Austin’s mom’s house for his girlfriend Caitlyn’s birthday party. We ended up being the first ones there, so we just talked with Austin and met his mom (who’s extremely awesome/nice!). Austin and I exchanged surgery stories (he broke his hand, I had appendicitis), when Caitlyn and her friend Jade came. I gave Caitlyn the picture I had drawn for her, and volumes 1-3 of the Fruits Basket manga to borrow. She thanked me, then we started our nice Hannibal movie marathon. >=D Yeah, out of all the people that were supposed to show up, there were only Yumi, Jade, me, and then Austin and Caitlyn. And including Austin’s mom, little sister, and cat, he was swimming in a house of estrogen. XD We ate pizza while we watched Hannibal Rising, and then moved on to Red Dragon after I called my dad to tell him what time to come get Yumi and I. We only ended up watching those two movies, but I let Austin borrow The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal. Between the two of us, those are our all time favorite movie series. My dad came around 10:45 and we thanked Austin and went home. And Sunday I didn’t do anything. XD Ja ne~!

   TESTIFY!!!
Post time: 6:38p.m. CT
Music: “Misery Business" by Paramore

Well, it turns out I was in a GazettE mood, so Reita is featured as this month’s theme...I was surprised at how well the colors went together...I totally guessed with the main text color, and it turned out pretty darn decent if I do say so myself. ^^ I’ve actually been in a GazettE mood for a while now...with random spurts of other bands here and there, but mostly the GazettE...huh...I’ve also been reading a lot of entries from Yumehito’s blog (translated, that is) on livejournal. I almost cried last night, because I was watching Animal Precinct on Animal Planet, and there was a cat on there who was suffering from a diabetic seizure...the scary thing was, it looked just like Nekojirou, the cat that Yume-chun has pretty much adopted. Yeah...that’s how badly I’ve grown attached to the guitarist. Oh, for those who didn’t know, he’s the guitarist that came in after Ryouhei left at the beginning of the year from Ayabie. Don’t get me wrong, though; I still absolutely love Intetsu-kun to bits~! ^o^

Let’s see...on Saturday, I finally watched Audition...Oh my, that movie scars you...O-O It’s not really scary like a thriller, but the psychological scare-the-fuck-out-of-you-ness. If anybody ever sees it on a shelf the next time you go to a movie rental place, and you want to see a good horror movie, I would definitely check it out if I were you! And I think I’ve seen that movie you mentioned in your comment on the shelf at the movie rental place I go to, Lindsey...I’ll have to pick it next time...I’m also looking at hopefully checking out Premonition (the Japanese version, of course!), and Infection. Ooo! And the first Ju-On if I can find it again. God, I love movies like that!!! >w<

Sunday, I went with Kayla, her parents, and her grandmas to Elkhorn, IA to visit the Dutch Heritage Museum. It took about two and a half hours to get there, then only two to get back. The reason it took longer to get there was the original route we were going to take had a bridge that was out, so we had to back-track a bit. I don’t know about you guys, but I enjoy going to museums, and this one was fairly interesting. There were some pretty Christmas plates hung around the first floor. Kayla and I went down to the basement after a little bit of looking at things on the main floor. It was kind of creepy down there, since in the middle of the room, there’s a big glass box filled with shelves of old clothes, toys, tools, and all sorts of other stuff donated by immigrants over the years, and it wasn’t very well lighted down there...I have a feeling there was some exposed electrical stuff, because I constantly felt paranoid...I also thought I heard somebody call my name in a whisper, and it wasn’t Kayla...*shudder* But other than being a little paranoid, all along the outside/hallway around the glass walls was these paper cut-outs that an artist did. There was origami and different designs cut out of thin paper, and as we worked our way down the hall, we figured out that the artist had lived with her husband in Japan for about four years. That’s when we saw the awesome pictures that she took...my three favorites were of some little girls with paper cherry blossom head bands on, a Geisha and Maiko (sp?), and a cat sitting on an old wooden bench by some plant life. The little girls were so adorable! Kayla and I squeaked about them for a good minute or so before moving on. We looked at some more stuff before leaving. We ended up eating lunch at Pizza Hut, which wasn’t the best one I’ve eaten at before...D= We drove back home (er...to Kayla’s, that is.), and saw the Family Table restaurant we had wanted to eat at. Kayla and Yumi are amazed that I’ve never eaten there...I have no clue if any of you guys have that place in your area...sort of like the whole Hy-Vee thing. XD Yay for lame Midwest stuff! Kayla and I hung out for a bit and drank some coffee...which wasn’t a very good idea...I was bouncing off the walls with all the energy it gave me. XD They took me home, I did my small amount of left-over homework, and then tried to go to sleep. Aside from this weekend, nothing interesting really happened today or Monday...So, I guess I’ll talk to you all later then! Ja ne!

Ever have one of those moments when you see the most adorable picture in you're life, and you sit for 15 minutes 'AW~!'-ing at it? Yeah, that's Serial Number...
Post time: 6:35p.m. CT
Music: “Monokuro Rinbu Kyoku" by Serial Number

Long time no post, ne? Didn’t mean to do that...I haven’t had time to with homework and taking care of my puppy. ^^ You see, the day after my last post, I went to Kayla’s house because some of her family from California was in town, and they wanted to meet me (since we’re like sisters. X3). Her cousin Lynn brought his new Pitbull, Koda, too. He was so adorable and sweet! Pitbulls, Rottweilers, and other powerful breeds like that always get a bad reputation just because a few dogs have done something not so nice. You can’t blame a breed for the was a few dogs react. It’s also the owner’s responsibility to take care of the dog and make sure it’s well socialized and not dog or people aggressive. It makes me sick when people go: “Oh, (insert “dangerous” breed name here) are such evil dogs! They shouldn’t be allowed as pets!” Okay, maybe part of that is half true; people need to be educated on breeds like that, and you should only be allowed to have one if you show enough responsibility to take care of such a powerful animal. *ahem* Anyways, that’s the end of my rant for that...what brought it up was some retard in my area let his three pitbulls run loose (he’d been charged with keeping a potentially dangerous animal, and letting them run loose before), and they attacked a little boy. The boy was okay, but he needed to be hospitalized, and the dogs were humanly euthanized. As I expected, a few days later, an article defending Pitbulls was published in the newspaper. ^o^ Anyways...When I got home, I discovered that my grandma had brought Dottie with her when she was picking apples at my house, but she ran away. I was really sad that night, and worried about her. The next day after school, I went outside to the backyard to feed the cats, and there’s my little yellow puppy sitting in one of the chairs outside! I was so excited! I called my mom and told her the good news, then called my grandma to tell her she was okay.

And we still have her! She has a nice pink collar, a Blue’s Clues pillow, a stuffed Husky that’s about the same size as her, and some other little toys. She’s a spoiled little baby! ^o^ She knows how to sit already, and she doesn’t bark as much as she did the first few nights. I’ve been working with her on laying down and she’s making awesome progress! ^^ I would post a picture of her, but my digital camera is running low on batteries and I can’t find the cord that attaches the printing dock to the computer...D= I’ll figure something out! Oh yeah! Last Saturday Kayla, Yumi and I went to the mall for my birthday party type thing! Since the mall stores didn’t open until 10:00, we stayed at Barnes & Noble. We looked at some of the magazines, then some manga, then some dog and cat books (Kayla handed me about four books on Chihuahuas...the squeeing ensued full force...), then we went and looked at horoscope books. After that, we went to get some lunch, then traveled to FYE. As soon as we got in there, we spotted Pin-man and waved enthusiastically at him. He usually has an Asian friend who works with him, but he wasn’t there that day. Kayla was really disappointed by that since she wanted to hug him. X3 We immediately spotted a whole end section of Asian horror movies and oogled at them all. Pin-man came over and pointed to the ones he recommended, then asked if we wanted to see more. We said yes, and followed him to the back where the anime and other movies were. He then pulled out the movie Audition. I squeaked because I had seen some of it before. He then went to the storage thing in the back and while he was in there, I picked up the first volume of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. When he came back, he showed us a really gruesome looking movie he recommended as well. I ended up getting Audition, though. ^^

After FYE, we went to GameStop and I got Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life for the GameCube. Then we hit Hot Topic and oogled around there for quite a while. They had some really cute (albeit revealing) Lolita-esque costumes, and an Alice in Wonderland one. I really wanted it...Then we found the stash of Cure and Shoxx magazines. I noticed that Cure has gotten smaller than it usually is, height and width wise. They had an issue of Shoxx with Nightmare on the cover, another one with alice nine. on the cover, and yet another one with the GazettE. I chose the issue with the GazettE on the front, and then we went to the arcade and played some games there. We then met my parents at Younkers and Mom got me an awesome red and black stripped sweater-type thing with a black camisole to go with it. We all went to Kohl’s and I got a pair of Mudd brand jeans before we headed home. Other than that, I don’t think you guys are missing much...Except that I might be going on a college visit to Beuna Vista (the college that offers Japanese and art courses) next Saturday. Yeah...now that’s it...Keep an eye out for a changing layout, too! I’m thinking it’ll be either Reita or Shou, it just depends on my mood...or it might be a new band I'm tying out called Serial Number...Ja ne!

Mr. Adorable himself...or I should say Shiyuu. >w< This is the first guitarist of Serial Number, and he's the most adorable guy I have ever seen aside from possibly Bou...Kya~!

Woah...sorry I sort of disappeared for like a week...O__o I had limited time to get on the Interwebz, and when I did, MyO didn’t want to work for me. DX So...I had a good birthday last weekend. Sunday we went up to my Aunt Cindy’s house for Aunt Sammie’s, my little cousin Brooke’s, and my own birthday party. My cousin DJ was there this time, and we mostly talked and such. We opened presents after we ate pizza for lunch. I got about $45 in cash, plus a $25 Kohl’s girft card. Grandma Thompson also got me a really pretty wolf statue/figurine, Harry Potter (book 7), and photo-paper for my digital camera’s printing dock. My parents also got me some of my favorite perfume called Curve: Crush...it smells so good...*melts* After that, we ate cake...though it there wasn’t really any cake involved...I picked out a yummy brownie dessert with a cherry on top (which I ate. ^o^), and Sam and Rick made a cookie-cake, plus we had ice-cream. It was all so yummy...After that, DJ and I went outside to play with the ginormus Golden Retriever, Argus. We left Cindy’s house and went over to my Grandma Myrna’s house to give her some of the apples from our tree. As soon as we got there, I looked for “my” puppy, Dotti (Labrador/Jack Russell terrier mix). She was sitting on the hill up by the house’s back door. Before I bothered to go in, I called her down, and she flew down and began jumping and dancing around. I petted her and picked her up, and then Jackie (Jack Russel/Rat terrier mix puppy) go jealous and jumped around my feet as well. I played with them for a while before going inside to see my grandparents (Hm...sounds like my priorities are screwed up, huh? XD). Grandma gave me a card that had $10 in it and we all talked for a little bit. They had a tiny kitten (but old enough to walk around and play...just extremely tiny) in the house that got rejected by her mom. When I sat down, he climbed up my jeans and sat in my lap. He was so tiny he could sit in the palm of my hand easily...He took a nap in the crook of my arm while I ate some cake Grandma made for me. I went back outside to see the other dogs, and Dotti and Jackie followed me around as well. Aw! My grandma also had a really adorable bunny! It was mostly black, but it had some white on it’s face, and one of it forelegs was white, plus it had a small patch of brown fur on his back...it was so cute!!! After a while, we went back home.

Okay, so that was last weekend...now for this week! XD It was my school’s Homecoming week, and Yumi, Kayla and I went to the game and dance. For once in out lives, we almost won our homecoming game! We only lost by one point, and it was against a really good team, too! When we were watching the games in the bleachers, Kayla would randomly go and look for our Chinese friend, Nancy. She finally found her, and she looked so adorable/pretty! She wasn’t wearing her glasses, and she had make-up on. Then Yumi got back from getting ready and we all met Austin’s girlfriend, Caitlin. She was so adorable, too! Yumi and I told her that we were now her fangirls because of her adorableness. XD She looked really happy when we said that, too! I guess everyone at her school (she lives in a different town/school district) doesn’t like her for some reason or another. I have no clue how that is even possible...she is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. At halftime, they announced the winners for the poster, skit, and float activities we did this week. My class (Juniors) won 1st in the poster and float, and 2nd in the skit, so we won the most points over-all. After the game, we went into the school building and payed for our admission into the dance. Kayla and I danced some at the beginning, and as more people came, Nancy and Yumi joined in. Our friend Holly came, and she had two guys with her, one was sort of heavier set, but fairly okay looking, and the other guy was really hot...he looked almost exactly like Bam Margera...It was so freaky...O__o We all danced in a little circle in our corner of the dance floor, and eventually the people around us gravitated towards us. They wanted to be cool like us. Psh. XD And the good thing was, there weren’t that many slow songs played! =D There was mostly hip-hop and some rock, but all were good songs that we could all dance to. It was very fun overall. ^-^

And today, my little brother and Yumi’s little brother had another foot ball game. Yumi’s dad said that I could come over the there house until the game was over (since he was driving the boys to and from the game), so Yumi and I hung out for a few hours. We mostly watched TV and looked at these awesome horror/gag magazines that had some awesome Halloween stuff in it. They had a vinyl figure of Hannibal Lechter from The Silence of the Lambs that said some phrases from the movie, like, “I ate his liver with a nice chianti.” *rubs hand together evilly* I’ve been having a nice Hannibal Lechter obsession after watching Hannibal Rising and discovering that we owned all of the Hannibal movies. XD Yay cannibalism! =D Anyways...we watched IMF, and we saw the commercial that had all the Jrock Revolution performers (MIYAVI-SAMA!!!!! *SQUEE*). We screamed so loud, Yumi said people playing golf outside probably thought we were dying or something...We didn’t see anything else very interesting besides a Japanese hip-hop/R&B artist called SoulJa. We kept flipping it to the Food Network, and this lady was making Italian food, and we kept on saying that Hannibal needed his own Food Network show. XD Mmm...human! And now here I am...at home. I’ll go try and catch up to posts now! ^o^

I’m glad that you thought my layout looked good! ^o^ I <3 it to bits! *huggles Miyavi* In speaking of, yesterday was his birthday! He turned 26, so he’s still young! XD The Jrock Revolution site/forum was doing this thing where you could send a birthday message to him, and some of the messages were going to get picked to be read on a radio show, and aside from that, a raffle with all the people who sent one. I’m not sure if mine worked, though, since you had to join the forum, but my e-mail to activate my account didn’t come until yesterday. D= But that e-mail could have been to let me post on the forums, not PM the person we were supposed to...I’m not sure, so we’ll see. =/ On Thursday, Yumi, Kayla and I assigned ourselves colors to wear for Friday, and we all fell through on it; Yumi wearing green, Kayla wearing pink, and myself blue. We had one of our classmates take a picture of us, and then before lunch, Mrs. Harris let me send it to Miyavi since his site doesn’t work on my computer very well (Interwebz connection at my house is lame-ass dial-up. D=<). I hope the URL I put was the right one...I would feel really dumb if it wasn’t. >__<

Today Yumi and I went to our little brothers’ football game (3rd and 4th youth football). Yumi’s dad brought his girlfriend and her two young children; the little girl, Gabby, immediately was adopted as my little sister. =D She was so adorable! And it was cold this morning, so pretty much everyone brought a blanket. Gabby sat between us during the game, and we wrapped our blankets around each other, every once in awhile I would glomp her. >w< When the game was done, and we were getting off the bleachers, Gabby jumped into my arms and huggled me. X3 It was so cute! Then when we were going back to the parking lot, she said she wanted to ask if I could come with Yumi the next time she went to her house, then she told me about her Care Bears. Hells yes. I love the Care Bears! She said she had the penguin, one, too! We went back home, and left a little later to go to Wal*Mart. Anyone remember that picture of Intetsu I put up a while back, and he had a chain bracelet with a heart on it? I totally found one like it at Wal*Mart for only $3! My mom let me get it, too! *squees* I also found an issue of Anime Insider in the books/magazines section! And guess who had a featured interview? None other that Miyavi-sama! I had to try really hard not to squeal as a read it...They didn’t have to translate it because they exchanged e-mail’s for the interview, and he wrote it in English...he’s getting so good at it! As we were leaving, a really yummy looking Asian guy was coming in, too. =3 I was sorta sad we were leaving...

After that, we went to another town and rented some movies. We finally rented Hannibal Rising, so I can’t wait to watch that with my mom...the actor who plays Hannibal is so hot...(yeah, I’m just a little boy-crazy...) And I rented this J-Horror movie called Pray. I’ve already watched it, and holy crap, that is seriously one of the saddest movies I’ve seen in a long time...I cried at the end for a few minutes...And the lead actor in it (Tetsuji Tamayama for those of you who are curious) was so freaking sexy...He reminds me of Ken (of L’Arc~en~Ciel), Reita, and Aoi (of The GazettE), all rolled into one smoking hot man...*fans self* I shall find a picture and post it, darn it! So anyways...if you ever see the movie the next time you go out to rent, I highly suggest it. It’s one of the better movies (aside from a few lame special effects...like missing wrists you can tell have been digitally removed...>.>) I’ve seen in a long time. The ending is really cute, yet sad, too...I won’t say anything more for those who haven’t seen it/want to see it. Holy cow! I almost forgot to mention the awesomeness that was The Dog Whisperer! On one of the episodes, a dog that lived with the dog that was having the trouble was a Papillon mix! It was pretty much a smaller pure black Papillon, and it was so pretty! Then on another episode, there was a Pomeranian/Papillon mix named Foxy...he was such a pretty dog! Okay, I’m done now. ^-^ Tomorrow’s my birthday! Yay~!!! I’ll be turning 17. ~Ja ne!

PS: Sooo...after looking up my dear Tet-kun, not only has he been in Pray, but he plays Takumi (bassist of TRAPNEST) in both live action Nana movies...HOLY SHIT is all I have to say about that...now excuse me while I wipe the drool off of my screen...
