So, how have you guys been doing? Happy Thanksgiving!
What did I have for Thanksgiving? A hot dog... um... and half a coke. Long story.
To make it short though, there have been family problems over here, and finally John (my moms fiance) is leaving. I don't think I can make the reasons short, but he turns the smallest things into such a large issue. It all started over a little piece of pie, and I'm serious. I may explain a bit more one day, I know, it sounds ridiculous. But me and him haven't been getting along very well, and there's been tension between him and the rest of the family.
Today, I spent the day at the hospital. Probably one of the most ridiculous things you'll EVER hear in your life, and this is no joke. John was packing some of his stuff with Matt (my brother), and he said he felt like he was having a heart attack. So you know, we call 911, the ambulance picks him up, and we leave shortly after for the hospital along with some relatives who we called after calling 911.
I walk in there, and nobody said much of anything. I look at the computer analysis screen, where they show the reasons and stuff for being there, you know? It said the following for causes of pain:
"16 year old boy and mother; back pain, possible heart attack"
That 16 year old boy he was referring to was me. It gets more complicated than that, but in other words, he holds grudges over things I don't do (sure, I forget chores every once in a while, but not that often. And to list it AT THE HOSPITAL for the cause of his pain?!) Later on that day, we put two and two together. Johns on some sort of anxiety medication, and that's why he's on disability. We had thought all this time it was because of his past heart problems, or atleast I did. Mom had known this, but didn't think it was all that serious. So he was sent home with relatives, as the doctor thought it was safer.
This has been escalating for the past few weeks. Monday he decided that he needed to move out. Don't get me wrong, he's not a bad guy, but he's never liked me in the first place, and only now have I realized that his nit picking and everything might be because of mental issues. We had to get rid of the goats and might be moving in the spring, since NY is pretty expensive to live in. Worse of all, he's been telling all of his family, that I like pretty well, that "he won't let a 16 year old boy run his life", among other pretty negative things.
*Sighs* the worst thing, my brother is so attached to him, he follows him around like a shadow... no, even worse. We had to talk to Matt quite a bit to calm him down after John announced he's leaving. Worst thing is, he's got this kid wrapped around his finger. So I'm doing my best over here, not letting it get to me too much. No matter what, you've got to persevere, and my belief in God helps me as well. Biggest thing is John coming back to unpack his stuff- I'm afraid all the talking with Matt will just unravel, if you get what I mean.
