   Never again
Writing from my gramps' house again. I just went to a video session at the little TV Studio and had to work the audio controller. Not fun. Soooooo not fun. I was distracted by the screen of what was currently playing, a traditional Japanese dance show, and suddenly one of the interview-ees started breathing heavily into the mic. It took me a little too long to figure out who it was, and I think they'll have a fun time fixing that part.
Quote of the day... hm... Aha! It's a YGO one, enjoy.

Joey: I lost count *how* many monsters does she have in her graveyard?
Tristan: I think it's eleven.
Joey: 100, 200--
Tea: 1100.

Jaa ne!

   Oh Yeah...
Here is your quote of the day! It's from the episode of Samurai Jack (not anime, but a very good show) with Demungol, and yes, I'm guessing at how to spell his name.

Demungol: My name is Demungol. (A/N: like we didn't already know that from looking at your name right there next to the quote)
My mother: And I have a lavalamp for a head.

OK, you sort of have to know what Demungol-or-whatever-his-name-is looks like. It really does look like he has a lavalamp for a head. The best part is the way she imitated his voice, which you can't see here unfortunately, especially since I hate that whiny tone. Which is why I use it all the time, I'm sure.

   Why bother with subjects?
I feel dumb now. Very, very, very dumb. Let's put it this way: Have you ever broken a rule because you forgot about the rule? It just completely slipped your mind? If you said yes, I feel your pain. I don't feel like going any deeper into that right now.
On the bright side, er, well... I had interesting dreams last night, even though the were both really horrifying. First one, I was at my grandparents' house (the other grandparents, not the ones I was visiting on Sunday) and there was a big storm and lightning struck in the yard and was about to break the wall down when I woke up. For some reason a classmate of mine was in that dream, too... He ended up carrying me to safety when I fainted (I'm not that wimpy in real life, really! Well, maybe I am, but that's beside the point).
And in the other dream, the REALLY bad one, my dad was driving me to NY again and I forgot... my Vampire Hunter D video. He was really irritated but let me go inside to get the tape, but when I came back out, I discovered there was nowhere in the car to put it down, and I was busy yelling at my father who was yelling at me so I set it down on the ground. Then I got in the car and halfway down the block I started crying because I had left it in the middle of the driveway where my mom was just sure to run it over accidentally.
I have weird dreams, ne? I mean, that guy wouldn't have "carried me to safety" if his life depended on it.

   Ouchies
For some reason I've been feeling a lot of stress lately. Lately as in the last hour or two. Probably because I'm not used to posting stuff on the Internet and things like that. I'm an introvert all the way, despite the fact I'm hyper and enjoy writing and stuff. Isn't stuff a great word? Yeah. And the phone is ringing. Should I pick it up? Hmmm... Nah. 99% chance it's a telemarketer. Yep, it was, I can hear the annoying, chipper, recorded voice on the answering machine now. Maybe I should go back to sleep.

Who was it that hated all my pictures? I feel so unloved.
There, now that I've made you feel guilty, whoever you are, I'm gonna go and self-consciously draw more and more and more-- oh, right, I'm out of drawing paper. Isn't my life so hard? (Note the intended hint of sarcasm there.)

   Whoah... And burning calories!
Someone... Actually... Signed... My guestbook! I'm so happy! I weep tears of joy!
Anyway, my day so far... I just woke up! Heheheh. It's summer, what else would I do besides sleep in and watch TV? And you burn more calories sleeping than watching TV, I hear. It's better for your brain, anyway, unless of course you're an anime junkie like me.
Also on that note, I read somewhere that you burn 27 calories licking a stamp. Not many calories, but not much exertion, either. Unfortunately, I don't think lickable stamps are sold anywhere, so I tried just miming licking a stamp. I don't know if it burned any calories, but I got some funny looks from the dogs.
Hah! I already gave you the quote of the day! I'm free! Now back to mindlessly surfing the web... Or maybe I'll watch the episode of Samurai Jack I taped... In any case, jaa ne!

   Pppppbbbtttt...
Argh. It's Monday now, isn't it? Here's your new quote.
Sesshie: Why have you conspired with Totosai against me?
IY: Because *you* happen to be evil incarnate!
-Inuyasha, dubbed version (cuz that's all I got, folks)
Maybe someday I'll fool around with HTML... Take what you get for now. Now GOOD NIGHT!

   ??????
I'm so tired, but I'm still up. I really don't know why. I will sleep until the afternoon tomorrow anyway, so it doesn't really matter, I guess. The web's not nearly as crowded in the middle of the night either. Wonder why. I submitted fan art, really I did! Why isn't it showing?! ;_; It's late, too late. You can tell because, though I've long exhausted the possibilities for posts, I'm still writing. The AC's on too high and my fingers are cold, and still I type on. Save me. Save yourselves. I'm going to... stop posting. Can't go to bed. Just can't, not until I get a review... I have now lost feeling in said cold fingers. I give up.

   Yay?
Well, I just found out about Otakon, an anime convention being held in the Baltimore Convention Center soon. Shouldn't be too far of a drive. Hyped but tired. Need... Sleep... But not just yet. Time to give you my quote of the day (it will be regular, cuz I'm so full of them). "I'm looking for the left-handed one." Actually something my mom said, but I'm too sleepy to really decide on a good anime one. Oyasuminasai...

Subject? My life has no subject.
A few days ago I got back from NY to find that theotaku.com had disappeared. You can imagine how distressed and upset I was, especially after following Version Next updates since about February or March. But now it's back, and all is right with the world. I slept till 1:00 PM and am still tired, but I'm too happy to really care. Plus I got an Inuyasha soundtrack CD of some sort yesterday. I'm not quite sure what it is because, despite my valiant efforts, I still can't read kanji. I know that "Fukai Mori", "I Am", "I Am" inst. ver., and "Dearest" inst. ver. are on there, along with "Homage to Inuyasha", but other than that I am utterly and completely lost. I'm currently writing this from my grandparents' house and- oh crud. My mom's here and I gotta go. Jaa ne!
