Watcha gonna do, wanna be hackers, code crackers, slackers...
Yes, my subject titles have absolutely nothing to do with what I'm talking about.
Anyway, I was watching WWE Velocity last night and I saw one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen on WWE television: An awesome tag match that was actually given some time to be great.
The match was the team of Paul London and Spanky (who, after this match, have convinced me that they should be going after the tag titles) against the team of Shannon Moore and Kanyon (yay!).
For those who don't know, I am a huge, huge, huge fan of Chris Kanyon's. After reading about how he almost died doing what he loved (wrestling) and seeing how awesome of a wrestler he truly is...how could I not be a huge fan of the guy?
Anyway, this match was simply incredible and I have no doubts in saying that it would be a great opening to a Pay Per View event. I'm serious. London and Spanky were flying everywhere and doing some awesome double team moves, Shannon Moore was great as a heel and Kanyon was fantastic as always. They even let him do the Flatliner, which is, by the way, my favorite finisher ever. And the reverse Russian leg sweep/Insiguri combo that London and Spanky did? Simply incredible.
It is a huge crime that London and Spanky aren't going after the tag titles and it's a bigger crime that these four wrestlers are being relegated to Velocity. Really, it shows just how badly the WWE operates nowadays.
Sucks be to the four wrestlers who continually work their asses off and put on great shows and get almost nothing for it.

Now can you dig that...SUCKA!!!!!
My brother got an 87 on the stage fight in Final Fantasy IX and I got an 89. BOW TO THE MASTER!
I score a whole two points higher than he did and I only got two more gil than him? I feel gypped. Queen Brahne must hate my guts.
And does anyone else think that a Steepled Hat would look funny? I do.
And what is up with freaky guys like me making near useless entries into their blogs? It's like an epidemic or something...or it would be if I weren't the only one doing it...

Monkey's brains are a delicacy in Cantonese cuisine...but aren't often found in Washington D.C.!
I've been totally buried with work lately, it's a wonder I have time to go online and actually type this.
Right now, I have three Calculus assignments to do, some reading for AP English Lit, I have to study The Pantheon for Art History and I have to read through my Government textbook.
Suffice it to say, I hate school on occasion -_-
Also, on a happier note, my good buddy, Syk3, is in Oklahoma today. He IMed me earlier this morning and he had already talked with Mei on the phone. Hopefully, everyone will go off without a hitch and he'll be able to have a great time with Mei ^_^
Also, as some people have seen, Solo Tremaine has posted the first chapter of a great story that he's writing. I must do all that I can to shamelessly plug the story. So, here you go: OtakuBoards: Enter the Net. It's a fantastic, funny story and I encourage everyone to read it (not that it'll get much more traffic from the link being posted in my site, heh).
Also, the gaming areas have been slowing down again, lately. This makes me sad. What's even sadder is that I could be posting new threads and trying to reinvigorate them but I simply don't have the time. It's not a nice feeling to be next to helpless when all this stuff is going down.
My brother also bought Final Fantasy IX recently. It's an okay game and it's fun to play through it and catch stuff I might've missed before. For example, there's a Monty Python and the Holy Grail reference at the beginning of the game o_O When you beat Steiner for the first time on the play stage, he says "Bah! Merely a flesh wound!" That surprised the hell out of me, heh.
And so ends what is probably my longest myOtaku post ever. Whee.

Loads 'o stuff...or maybe not.
My brother just got Final Fantasy IX and he's been playing it non-stop, which means more time for me on the computer. See, there is a God =P
I also got the Finding Nemo DVD yesterday. I saw the movie when it first came out and thought it was a fantastic movie. Very creative, very funny and it looked incredible. I've also heard that the extras on the DVD are well worth buying it for.
Also, I've been stressing out over my college application - I've still barely started the damn thing. My USC application is due on Dec. 30th (which is a while away) but I want to get it in as early as possible so that the Admissions Officers see my name before everyone else.
Oh yeah - I am the Stratego King! 5-0 baby! Aw yeah!

I got kicked in the head o_O;
Really rainy day today. I took a jacket to school and my sister said "What? You never take a jacket to school!" I just told her that I didn't trust the clouds...and I was right! It was very rainy today. A lot of my friends didn't wear jackets, heh. Suckers.
Anyway, I just wanted to use this post as an excuse to make fun of my friends =P

Whee!
Yesterday was a pretty good day, even though my computer decided to be an uncooperative bastard.
As a few people know, I went to the USC/Washington St. football game yesterday. Final score: USC - 43, WSU - 16. Bwa ha ha ha ha ha! Fear the Trojans! Miami and Georgia also lost yesterday, so USC has a very good chance of taking over the second spot in the National Championship game. Huzzah!
I also have to start working on my USC application. I've already applied to Cal State Fullerton and Cal Poly Pomona, but USC is where I really want to go. But I've still got to finish the application, write four essays and get a couple teacher recommendations. Bleh.
Also, on Halloween, I couldn't find a costume, so I just threw on my dad's old-school Kings jersey, put my USC cap on sideways and went as John Cena from the WWE. I had tons of fun just throwing out totally randomm raps at people lol.
Here are a couple tests I stole from OtakuSennen's myOtaku:

Rain, darn you!
I've been searching for a really good version of Rain that I could use on my site. However, all I've found is the cheap midi version of Rain (from Cowboy Bebop, in case you're wondering) that's all over the internet.
I want the version from the show with the vocals, organs, guitar, etc. If anyone can find it for me, I would be very grateful. You can either PM, IM or e-mail it to me.
