   What a week!!

Wow, I've had one heckuva week and what an end to my week, too.

First off... I didn't mention this before, but, Daddy went to China. He came back last Wednesday with lots of goodies for me. Like what? Uh, lemme see... Manga, Full Metal Alchemist DVDs, Neon Genesis Evangelion artbook and soundtracks, the entire series for DN Angel and Saiyuki RELOAD, and all episodes for InuYasha, a Final Fantasy series artbook, a CLAMP anniversary collection (CDs and books), and, uh, like...more artbook stuff for various anime. ^_^ But, the best thing is that he got home safely.

...then nothing else really happened. Until yesterday. My legs are still rather sore from it all.

Recently, my Graphics teacher, for some unknown reason, has told us to make a "commercial." Yeah. There's a class for that already: video production. Oh, well. I guess it doesn't really matter. It's just something a teacher can do; y'know, abuse his/her position and pile us with ridiculous orders. Any rate, my group decided to film stuff in Hollywood. Kind of like...show it off or something.

So we went yesterday. Got there at like 11 AM because we took public transportation and subway. First place we ended up at was some park in a shady region of Los Angeles. The park had a water...geyser thing in the middle of a lake. From afar, it's a gorgeous view. But on a closer inspection, you will find bums and creeps laying around. The water is completely brownish and has lots of litter in it. I even saw a 99cent store bag floating around. It smelled fishy. People kept trying to sell my friends and I fake IDs. There were ducks swimming, though...and they attacked one another. Must be something in the water.

Uh, next...went right to the subway again; we wanted out of there so badly. It was also the moment when my buddies felt the effects of riding underground. They complained about feeling funny in the ears. I just told them to swallow - it works, trust me. Or chew gum.

Hollywood and Highland was our main and next destination. We walked on all those star things... Bumped into some "freaks" and homosexuals along the way. We checked out the Kodak Theatre, where we were greeted by some dude decked out in a Dark Stalkers-like outfit. I think he was trying to be Morgana? Or that one bat-chic...can't remember. Never played. X3

{Sorry...image hosting thing won't upload the shot of...the person at this moment}

Hm, who else... Oh... Dark Vader or whatever from Star Wars; Johnny Depp from PotC; Spiderman; Homer Simpson (you can kind of see his head...plastic or not); some Phantom weirdo; Cinderella (ain't she supposed ter be in Disneyland?); some other dude from Star Wars, and that's all that I can really remember. However, all of them scared me. No, disturbed is the word.

After we finished there, we took some pictures of the scenery. Despite the place being very treacherous during the evenings, the place still held some elegance to it...well, at least the surroundings and buildings did.

Hopped back on the subway and made our way to Universal Studios Hollywood. Only problem with that place was that when we got there, the shuttle leading uphill left without us. 7*W&R*&U#WR)!!! So..we waited..and waited..a dozen more folks come..more waiting..and waiting..three dozen people show up..we all waited..four lose patience and begin hike..more follow..and we still wait while more people join us. Until finally, we lose patience as well and hike. Which...I kind of regret. Half-way up, the shuttle comes down to pick everyone else up. Damn. So we hike the rest of the way up. Damn. Legs are SORE. I also didn't take any pictures of that trip, so...yeah. Use your imagination.

We wandered around City Walk, being too poor to go to the actual theme park. We snack, go to EB Games, Starbucks, check out the Hulk and some gorilla, watch people paint. Hm...get lost in the crowd several times...throw pennies at the sphere fountain place...and yeah. At that time, my legs felt like giving out and they still do.

...then I come home...to hear that a football player took a nasty fall and...spine broke or something...died. My sympathies and prayers for the family and poor soul.

I got me a free web space thing

Yay! Richie gave me a free account on his server. Now I can "upload whatever the crap" I want and download whatever the heck I want. Yatta!!! :P I'm happy. But at home, I run on modem connection so it sucks.

At school now. I have a sub for this class. We have to make "business" cards and like, I doubt anyone really has done much. We're all lazy and the teacher just doesn't seem to care much. I'm passing right now with an A+ o.o;;

I ache all over now. Fatigue is catching up to me. But my ankle no longer poses as a problem! But I have to write a short book about my life for English class.

Maggots... Coming to a hospital near you

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7229059/

Oh, you read the subject right. And the article isn't lying, either. Maggots. How...gross and disturbing!!! [shudders]

However, since it is helpful, I suppose it'll be beneficial? o.o;; Yuck.

On a brighter note, my cold is relinquishing its hold on me. I'm not 100% better, though. My ankle's killing me. Richie still appears to be oblivious to my flirts. -_-; Life is one giant mess for me right now. Oh, well.

Gomen to those I couldn't visit today, though I think I got most of you. And arigato to those who continue to visit this lonesome individual.

   Ranting after two months

Yep, I'm back once again. And I'm unfortunately not in a very good mood so there'll probably be one huge heckuva rant here in a second or two.

OK, here I go... About three years ago, I created an account at http://webshots.com under the name "goddessishizu." I would have used my more infamous nickname of "Shinimegami," but it was already in use so I had to design up another one. Now that I'm submitting my wallpapers to Webshots, viewers are going around saying I'm stealing someone's work...and telling the heads of Webshots to delete all things I've uploaded. See, I stick my "Shinimegami" in all my work, since it's a habit plus also necessary to show who made it and such. You guys know this since I have submitted various other pieces to the Otaku wallpaper collection as well. ALSO, within the Gundam Wing wallpapers category, I've sent in a few Duo Maxwell ones which are also hosted at Webshots. And they cleary say "Shinimegami." What I don't understand is why people haven't told the heads at Webshots to delete my Gundam Wing wallpapers -_-;

OK, end rant. On to more happy issues...or whatever.

I hope everyone's alright and that no one has forgotten me =P I've been so caught up with school I had to abandon myOtaku, favorite forums, and other things I enjoy doing on the internet. In fact, I've been loaded with exam after exam, homework packet after homework packet, I'm starting to wonder if I'll survive my first year of high school O_O However, I am glad my work has paid off (4.0 GPA). Now to get that 4.0 average to a 4.2 to satisfy my parents x_x

I've recently got hooked to D.N. Angel and Full Metal Alchemist. Although I'm not very big on Inuyasha, I think Sesshomaru is hawt stuff, along with Naraku. I've also been looking into Saiyuki a bit more. Panda-chan, I can understand why you like Sanzo so much ~_^

Oh, yes, did I mention...I have a new crush? [sounds of crickets chirping] Uh, yeah, well... Ahem. This may sound strange, but I'm not very concerned about how he would feel about me; all I am interested in is gawking at him and listening to him insult my Graphics teacher. It's lots of fun!~

He's taught me how to mess around with computers, too. He's a huge computer whiz =P And a car fanatic as well. I'm still not sure how he got the administrator's password or anything of the sort. However, he was more than happy in sharing his knowledge with me. Waaiii! I'm happeh about eet.

Since I was transferred into a new P.E. class, every other day has been like torture for me. I'm the lazy-type and I don't like running long distances for a long time. Therefore, two miles every other morning is completely chaotic. Today, we had to undergo a physical exam. Isn't it like a violation for someone w/o permission to poke and prod you? Well, Bob (teacher) didn't really do that, but blah, it made me feel like a guinea pig inside a small cage. [nose twitches] There's a good side to all of this, though; I'm getting pretty good at keeping my stamina XD And I might end up with a freaking six-pack (X_X) thanks to all those sit ups we have to do. Whoo!!!

Hm, in English, we're delving into poems. I don't know much about poetry, but I do believe that I can write free verse pretty well for a novice. Would anyone care to give me a few pointers? Much appreciated! =D

Then there's life outside of school. Wait, do I have a life out of school? Yes, I do, and it's tutoring!!! ...guess that's still educational... I get paid like 6.75 USD an hour, though, it isn't too bad I suppose. What I earn usually is spent up though ;-; I'm not good at handling money.

Ugh...I'm gonna leave it at that. I might update tomorrow or not; maybe not for another two months o.O. Either way, I'm out. Latez, folks!

an entire Month has come and gone...

Hm, it sure has been a quick month to fly by, huh? Guess I should apologize to y'all for not updating or anything of the sort. Sorry if I worried you sick (if I did, but I doubt..). It's just... Life's become a great adventure for me now, sometimes dull, sometimes full of excitement. I know, I know, it's a poor excuse, ain't it?

First off, I wanna wish every a Happy New Year and that each of you guys had a great holiday season!!! Anyone got anything they especially loved for Christmas?

I got a coupla games: Final Fantasy DoS. Kingdom Hearts: CoM. Lunar Legends. Fire Emblem. And my most anticipated Resident Evil 4 title. I also got a few accessories for my camcorder, extra "spending" cash, and books, CDs, and DVDs.

As you can tell, the video games sort of won me over with half of the time I spent away from the myO community... But, uh...

I suppose I'm back for the time being. I've been doing pretty well lately, except I pulled a leg muscle and now my right leg is as sore as you can imagine. I had an eye infection or something; you should've seen it, it was all red and puffy. Kind of cool to stare at, lol!

Hm, we're doing the Odyssey in my English class. That's one main reason as to why I haven't been around; focused on these group projects and mythology stuff. If any of you guys can give me some information on constellations, I'd greatly appreciate it! Well, I have to make puppets and a shield, the latter nearly finished. :P What fun. I have glitter all over me thanks to my last class since I was working on it.

Well, I'm gonna leave this as it is, 'cause I got stuff to do. I'll update again later on, maybe...

I'm really looking forward to my three-day weekend. I've been worked endlessly and am in dire need of a short, much-needed break! I'll probably spend all 72 hours playing RE4 or something, though :P I hope all of you guys have a fun time during the weekend!!

Oh, yes, one more thing...

My sympathies and heart reaches out to those in the tsunami disaster and victims of the so many floods around the California area. It really pains me because so many lives were lost and so many more are endangered. My sorrow to the many soldiers who were fighting out there and lost their lives proudly defending the States.

   The coldness of south CA

This is insane! I never thought southern CA would experience frigid weather such as the ones now. I wake up every morning to scream "Holy $h^*" because it's like 49-57 degrees! I know some of you guys go through much colder weather, but...do remember that CA isn't exactly the state with freezing weather patterns.

To make things worse, I have physical ed. first thing in the morning every other day. It's awful running a mile or two in such harsh weather! My face and hands turn numb...it becomes painful. I swear, my teacher is nuts. >_<

Well, that was yesterday. Today is still cold and all...'cept I'm pretty warm right now and it is so enjoyable watching my fellow mates freeze and complain. Muahahahahaha! I do find it odd that I'm so warm. o_O I'm not human...

Er, yeah. A fight took place before I entered this class. It was...odd. I didn't bother trying to watch with all the other people because I think it's pathetic to be crowding just to see two guys trying to throw a punch at each other. I also took in the fact that if you are caught watching or any way involved with a fight, you will be punished. So, yeah... The so-called fight didn't last long either. Many walked away looking disappointed and muttering that it was boring.

...worms...they're all filthy maggots...

Well, let's see if my day gets any more interesting.

Oh, and here's a nice tarot card thing I found at AnimeGoddess2004's myOtaku ^_^

Do you want to know what your tarot card is?

   What a five-day break!

Wow, what fun my 120 hours of freedom was! Hope all of you had a good Thanksgiving, 'cause I had a painful one...

So, lesse, where do I start? Uhm... Most of the time, I was stuck playing Baten Kaitos ^_^ It's such an addictive and fun game. GCN folks should pick up a copy ;) I've spent 50 or so hours on the game already, hehehehe! I know, I've got no life u_u

Anyhoo, my Brother is like obsessed with my kid cousin or something 'cause the days he had off, he went or wanted to go to my Aunt's house. It was Thanksgiving, my Mom was in the kitchen busily cooking and preparing a scrumptios dinner for two families (my cousin was coming, augh!) and Calvin was eating breakfast. Me? I...er, I was playing Baten Kaitos! (^^)

Calvin's counselor calls ("HENRY") and tells him that he'll be visiting us. Calvin says, "Sure no problem!" And then few seconds later, I hear him argue with Mother. He says he wants to go to cousin's house and watch...TV... [frowns slightly] What a pitiful excuse!!! It obviously made Mother upset, too, because she said that Henry was coming to talk with him.

I'm still playing game, but as the bickering continues, I pause to listen to the speech.

"Just tell him that I'm never home afternoons."

"But you've been home so many times before! What am I to tell Henry if he asks why you left so suddenly?"

"I don't know and I don't care. I'm gonna go to Sam's place."

"Fine, I'll let Henry know you aren't home. I still want to know what to tell him when he asks about why you left."

At that point, I just kind of got irritated and stalked out of Gramps room to scold Calvin myself.

"You fool! You should've just planned your time out more efficiently! You're the one who told Henry it's fine to visit--!!"

I get shoved viciously by my own brother into the fridge (closed) and ended up bruising my shoulder. It effing HURT!

Yep, Mother screamed her head off at Calvin and it was kind of fun listening while I wiped away my tears. She threatened to kick him out of the house and all... (He's old enough to have that done to him :P) 'cept she can't 'cause he can't fend for himself in the outside world (metal disability, unfortunately).

I must say, the NERVE OF HIM! He claims that he pushed me because I annoyed him. I only stated the truth. Agh... -_-;;

So you can see, my Thanksgiving wasn't exactly perfect.

Meh, this thing is long enough as it needs be and I've complained to my heart's content. I'll see you guys later.

EDIT: Lookee what my buddy made! That image is of me like fifteen minutes after I made this post. Damn you Richard and your camera! But, thanks Steve for adding Albel near me. Heehee.

   Just ANOTHER day... Yep.

Hey, everyone! How goes it? Hope you guys are having a pretty gewd day so far.

I ran a whole effing mile or more yesterday!~ [mutters] But hey, it looks like I'm getting better at it, too. It's still torture. Shizuka-chan, you're lucky you're homeschooled :P And then we played football. It was muddy, painful, and pointless.

Then comes today, where there's this disaster drill in the morning. We wasted like 45 minutes going through the drill and stuff while we could've used that time to watch a movie in class! Humph! Lousy school system... [more muttering] My English teacher was kind to give us some Danish sweets and a small bottle of juice for the short trip, though, so it was kind of...fun.

Now I'm in Graphic Arts (again) and I'm waiting for the teacher to judge the poster my team and I made.

There...sorry, I know it's kind of big, but whatever :P

Well, toodles!~
