   I'm still alive and well...
Greetings! Time has flown by so fast.

Work has kept my family busy. Just this last weekend we did two weddings, and only one more to go. After that, mom and dad work on album designs for the new couples.

There is nothing quite like witnessing the union of two people. More often than not, there is always one person who tears up at the end of the ceremony and the toasting (most often the dad of the bride).

Church is going well. We are now in a new building and enjoying it. Plus, the tenth year anniversary was last friday. 10 years, amazing.

Now I am actively searching for another part time job...besides cleaning the house in a frenzy because there isn't much else to do.

And weatherwise, I am loving the cooler weather. It's nice enough to wear a light sweater, yet not too cold to lay on the grass and admire the clouds (have you ever just stared at them? they are amazing).

Hopefully, I will discipline myself to visit people. I've gotten so lazy here it's shameful.

ciao.

   Busy bee
listening to: Pop! goes my heart!
reading: Inuyasha...cause I can.

This month has been busy with weddings, photographing for a stock photography agency, trimming my deviantart gallery and fanfiction collection, among other things. My precious nephew is now 6 months old!!

This means his first teeth are finally starting to show, and that means more teething pains. Eventually he will get the joy of seeing a dentist for the first time.

Yes, that last bit was sarcasm.

Dentists are not my best friends.

So, my friends, how are you? I realize that once again, my absence has spanned a month. Blame deviantART and introducing my brother to college and how it all works. He's always asking me how I did things/what classes I took, etc, and has had quite the hard time with getting his class schedule down.

Musicwise, I've been been listening to a lot of Pinkfloyd and Lynrd Skynrd (is that how you spell it?!) among others, along with the Beatles. And on the other end of the spectrum, music of from the newest sonic games. My favorite is Dreams of an Absolution by Lee Brotherton. Why? I can relate to it in a small degree.

Animewise, my menu has consisted of Naruto, more Naruto, some Pokemon (the very first episodes), and Inuyasha. Yeah, all very trendy shows. However...

anyone who knows me know I don't follow trends. If something that I enjoy happens to be a trend, so be it. God forbid I turn into a screaming fangirl.

Anywho, moving onto an interestingtopic that is gathering some media attention: Second Life.

For anyone staring at the screen confused, it's a game that mirror's real life, except you can change your looks, your house, your 'scene'--even own a business.

On one hand, I find myself comparing it to Gaiaonline.com and thinking, it isn't so bad. Then, I read and hear about a few of the members themselves, and the game has a tendency to take over their real life if not careful.

So, what do you think about it? Do you even care about it?

Movie day
It finally happened. My mom dragged the family (and a friend) to see Hairspray.

It was entertaining, as a movie is meant to do. However,I will never look at John Travolta the same way again. I will admit, it was worth it too see it on the big screen.

I won't say anything more, so I won't spoil anything for anyone.

oh, and we also rented the Last Mimzy. Interesting movie. It does a good job of sucking you into it, too. Disney's movies are like that.

In other news, my dad is sick. He's contracted the flu probably Saturday night and still hasn't recovered fully. Why he got sick is anyone's guess.

Other than that, nothing much exciting. Read Yugioh Egyptian arc volume 4, and waiting to read volume 5 till the release date for the next volume is closer. The reason? I'm a fast reader, and I want some time to enjoy the manga.

Well, that is all for now. Ciao.

A million apologies for not coming by!
I seem to be making this a habit. Blame deviantArt.com. After spending quite a bit of time on there, I have discovered clubs.

Anywho, how are you all? Discovered any new anime or manga?

This week two different anime series arrived via blockbuster. One was Panda-Z: Robomination. If you haven't seen it, it's super short but really fun. There is no dialogue, so it relies on music, sound effects, and text. It's the kind of text used in silent movies, if you need an example. It also is not serious at all.

The other one was Loveless. After hearing so much about it, it left me curious about what it was like. In the end, it left me in awe of the artwork, but...I could not get into it. It left me so confused right off the bat, like when I saw .hack//sign.

Last week we took a vacation ('we' as in the family) with some friends in Lake tahoe. As you may or may not know, the south part suffered from a fire. On our way back we stopped by and took it all in.

It was interesting to see how selective the fire had been. It was very common to see one house untouched, or maybe smoke damaged, next to a charred house burned to the foundations.

Aside from that, we haven't been doing much besides the family business (photography).

If anyone has some anime titles I have not seen/heard of, let me know about it via a comment or PM. I want a new series, since the last one I finished was Ouran High School Host Club.

Yes, I am in withdrawal.

Okay, I'm ending this. ciao.

My lord, it's nearly been a month!
So sorry about my lack of posting. You already know my excuses, so there is no sense in repeating myself.

So, how are you all? Doing well? I hope you are.

Well, summer is in full swing. It brings good and bad tidings. My birthday is a good plus, but I could do without the excessive heat that comes tends to settle in the region where I dwell. Oh, for the cooler temperatures of the coast...

Oh, remember the whole chicken-pox issue that popped up right before my college graduation? Anywho, someone was nice enough to send me a booklet of all the names of the graduation commencement and my degree!

That was a super nice move on whoever was gracious enough to do it. Don't you agree?

Well, that is all the new stuff that was exciting. I'll do my best to catch up with you all.

I am happy to report I am here to stay. At last my compy is healthy again, as well as my own health. Chicken pox has struck our house, and I hope that it ends with my brother. Poor guy got contracted it just a week before graduation, but there is still a chance he can make it.

Sadly, I had to miss walking for my liberal arts degree earlier this month. The good news: I can do it next year. It isn't a total loss.

So, now that I have a secure internet connection again, I can (finally) visit sites and chat with people. Blue, you and I have to chat sometime soon. I've missed you the most!

Well, I'm gonna go now. Got things to do and people to see, all that jazz. Ciao.

I'm back ! (for the moment)
Here's hoping my internet connection stays on long enough to complete this...

I know its been a long time since the last I posted, and there are two good reasons. 1) My laptop was in for repair for weeks, and 2) I am a victim of chicken pox, which is going down now. Thank God.

Other than that, I've been very lazy. However, I still keep the kitchen and laundry up and going--I can't be lazy all the time.

Okay, since I have accomplished all I wished to do, I'm going to log off. Ciao.

Hello, anyone still here?
So sorry about the big delay in any MyO activity...my laptop is in for repairs. At first it was merely slow, but then it just stopped working. So, it's fine now, with my important data safe and secure.

If you are curious, I am borrowing my mom's laptop, at 2:50 in the morning (insomnia, what's new?)

Currently am in the last throes of the college semesters. There are deadlines galore, and much printing of photos ahead, and then matting them as to to make them nice and presentable. Anything in the form of comics has been absent in my life for the last two months.

Also, my nephew is getting to be so big! He is probably about 15 pounds now, and somewhat heavy to carry around, which he likes. He is proving to be a very curious boy, too, with an affinity for staring at light and varous light sources.

The last big thing I want to share with you all is a piece of exciting news...I have found a home church! With that come life-changing decisions too, which I will update you on. However, that will be for later, when I am not updating at 3:00 AM.

Consider this my last post for the next two to three months, unfortunately. With the coming of May comes the start of wedding season, and that will keep us quite busy the whole of June and July especially.

So, ciao, my friends. Catch you later.

I'm not dead...really!
So it's been 21 days since my last visit...

Wow.

So here I sit in an empty house. Mom and dad are gone at a conference, my brother is at a friend's house.

Right now it's only me and a VHS copy of Aladdin. Yes, you read that right. I feel nostalgic at the moment. Prior to that, I watched Porco Rosso (by Hiyao Miyazaki).

As you can tell, I've been so productive today.

XD

All of you must be curious as to what life has been up to. It's been the following: take pictures, submit pictures, take more pictures. Er...errands, laundry...

*hums to One jump ahead*

Okay, I'll leave you ladies and gents to the rest of your day.

....I'm still alive
yes, despite my sudden lack of desire to even glance around or post lately, I have not abandoned this place. Sadly, the most use my laptop has gotten has been to search for music and add more pictures to my big database. Other than that, it stays off.

Jayden Michael, my new nephew, is almost 2 weeks old. His main activities are eating, sleeping, and staring around curiously at home.

Not much going on than school and work, other than a continuing quest to find a home church. It's been narrowed down to 2-3 now, from a list of 5.

yeah, so my life is real exciting.

ciao.
