work & stuff

I'm BORED. I start work at 11 AM on Monday. UGH. Rescue me! Anyway, i'm sleepy and listening to techno/electro/trance stuff (opening track on Wizard's Aquarius album) and... it's very repetitive and does a sleepy brain harm. Sleepy brain. I'm bored and am trying to write... I wanna go see Transformers but my best friend, the only person I'd care to go see the movie with, is like, "I just wanna lay around and sleep this weekend. Wait'll you start working. You'll feel the same way." Which I think is a really stupid attitude. And I'll have to bitch at her about it if she keeps it up. But in other news... I'm gonna go write. ~sj

UPDATES ON MY LIFE: I've got a fast food job. And that's about it. I'm alive. So that's good. Stuff is happening in the j-rock world that makes my life happy, even though I can't really witness most of it, so that is also good. So basically life is good. Aren't you happy for me? I have two hours of school tomorrow, then it's summer vacation. It really doesn't seem like it. I was working on papers and projects up to the damn WIRE this year. Yesterday was the only NOTHING day I've had so far... Then I skipped today. Tomorrow is the last day. Then Saturday I have stuff to do. Sunday isn't free either cuz my dad is coming up. Monday I'm going back down to my dad's with him. I'll be back sometime towards the end of the week. Then, I'll hopefully have a job. If not, I'll have free time while rabidly applying to every damn little place in this shit town. I might break down and see if I can work at one of the little restaurants that's within walking distance of my house... Though I don't know what ones those are, but people tell me that they're there, so I assume they are... I'll just have to find them. XDD Sad huh? Whatev. Anyway, I'm just waiting for the rest of the fifth episode of Princess Princess D to download... I'm gonna try to watch something on TV tonight... at 12:30... Maybe if I stay up really late I can sleep through the dumb-ass schedule we have tomorrow. ~sj

Thoughts on life... or something.

I've decided some things. 1) My problem with writing for the last few months can be easily resolved by SITTING DOWN AND WRITING instead of saying, "God, I wish I could write!" 2) Reading books is a great way to stave off boredom, and also provide me with thoughts and inspiration 3) Being a fiction writer is like being a different breed of person. I think differently, I see things differently, I experience things differently... 4) I need to get out of the house more and meet new people so I can train this sixth sense I've discovered... 5) I should be doing my homework instead of philosophyzing.

Nine day and two hours of school left. I'm sick today and will still be sick tomorrow but I'll probably still go to school, cuz our first ever "variety show" is during school tomorrow and I want to laugh at people. But I'll probably sleep through most of my morning classes since I'm sick... I'll sleep so that I can survive the day without being too miserable. This summer, I want to get a job. If I can't get a job here, I might go live with my dad over the summer and work there. That'd be odd, but I want a job, and he said he'd help me get my license and maybe a car. Which are both things I vitally need. Though, he lives in another state and I don't want to get a license in another state and then have to change it when I come home... So I don't know how that'd work. But I wanna try, I think... In other news... I FEEL LIKE SHIT. Sore throat, my hands are freezing but i feel burning hot inside... blah... ~sj
