   “An Anime Night to Remember” Chapter 1 Part 1

Hello All My O Friends!!! “An Anime Night to Remember” Chapter 1 Part 1 ‘Uncertainty of Truth’ Present time 2007 In The Real World: “Hey Mom, where are those three bags of popcorn I had setting on the table?” A young girl asks, as her Mother walked back into the kitchen. “You got those out?” Her Mother questioned. “Well of course I did. Tonight is Anime Night everyone will be over in about 15 minutes.” The girl replied as she walked over to the cabinet to retrieve the popcorn bags again. “Oh that is right… For some odd reason I keep thinking today is Friday.” Her Mother says. “Nope it is Saturday all day.” The girl says walking over to the microwave to start popping the corn. Her Mother took a seat at the kitchen table as she looked at a catalog she received in the mail. The young girl looked over at her Mother from the microwave as her Mother sat at the table engrossed in the catalog. “What are you looking at there Mom?” The girl asks walking toward her. Her mother lifted the catalog as they both looked at the cover. “Nothing much just something’s I thought you and your brother might like for Christmas.” Her Mother replies, “Speaking of Christmas shopping how did yours go today while you where out?” The young girl takes a seat at the table with her Mother as she replies, “I guess it went ok. I stopped by Best Buy to check out if there were any new Anime out I need to pick up and then I went to the Mall.” “So you shopped for yourself?!” Her Mother said with a tone that made the girl wonder that her Mother thought she was only thinking of herself when it came to spending money. Christine, aka Chris or Sis, is an 18-year-old girl with long dirty blond hair and blue eyes, she thinks she far from pretty despite what people have told her. She has an athletic build and a personality that sometimes intimidates people. She is bold and blunt, says what is on her mind, and does not care what others think or say about her. Not much gets Christine down, she has a very good outlook on life and the things that happen to her or around her be it good or bad. Christine has fetish for swords and has had one for a very long time, because of this fetish she con her Mother and Father into letting her train in learning the two-sword technique. Christine has been training with a sword since she was 10. “Noooo…” The young girl replies as she gets up from the table going to the microwave as it beeped, “I only bought one thing that was for me,” as she opened the microwave door. “Christine…” Her Mother exclaims. “Well it is not just for me… Me and all my Anime friends can mess with it.” Christine replies. “Yeah and what might that be?” A young boy’s voice asks as he walked into the kitchen with a mutual friend of theirs. Christine turns around as she saw her brother Keith and Jon walk in and sit down at the table with their Mother, “It is a role playing game.” “Oh great… Not another D&D game. That game got old real fast.” Jon replies. Keith, aka Bub, is a 17-year-old boy and Christine’s younger brother. Keith is tall and lanky, but do not let that sidetrack you from the truth, Keith is very strong even thought he does not look it. This came from him training in the marshal arts along side his friends Jon, Corie, and Dave all four of them just became Black Belts the month before, but Keith’s true love and talent is racing cars, which he is very good at, Keith has Cotton Blonde hair and blue eyes and a real goofball when he wants to be. The girls think he is the cutest thing around town. His personality is very out going and he makes friends very easily. He to his like his sister when it comes to people and what they say and think about him (he does not care). Jon, no aka, is a 17-year-old boy, he has known Keith, Christine and a few of the others for about 6 years. Jon is tall with a stout build he has light brown hair and brown eyes. He too is a real goofball, but unlike Keith, Jon is a goofball almost all the time. Jon is a real looker and he knows it. His personality is hard to learn, but once you get to know him he is a real sweet person to know and one of the best friends you will ever have. Jon was the one that got them all into the Anime scene. “I do not think it is anything like D&D from what the old guy told me about it. It sounds like it could really get interesting.” Christine tells them. “Yeah… How is that?” Keith asks her. “Well there is no board involved, no game pieces, dice, or other wise.” Christine says as she places the other bag in the microwave. “So how to do play this crazy game if there is none of that?” Jon asks with a mouth full of popcorn. Christine gives Jon a dirty look as she picks up the popcorn from the table, while his hand was reaching for more, “It is all computerized… There is an electronic Dragon and a Palm Polite type screen you use; I guess it is attached to the Dragon. I have not really look over it yet. I thought we could all look at it tonight and figure out how it works.” “Sure if you give me back the popcorn I will be glad to help out with that.” Jon replies. Christine shot Jon a dirty look, “The popcorn is for later!” Jon looks up at the clock waiting for a few seconds he looks back at Christine, as he replies, “Ok it is later… Give.” Keith and their Mother laugh at Jon and his trick to get the popcorn away from Christine. Jon reaches for the popcorn as the doorbell sounded. Christine walks out of the kitchen with the popcorn and Jon right behind her. “Go Away!” Christine says giving Jon a shoulder bump and opening the door. “Fine I will, but what are you guys going to watch tonight if I do?” Juli asks as she held up the next disk of Death Notes. “No… Not you ya dork.” Christine exclaims, opening the door farther for Juli and Jen to come in. “I should have known you were talking to Jon.” Jen replies as she walked in watching Christine fight off Jon from the popcorn bowl as they walk back to the kitchen. “Hey, Mrs. Richardson…” Juli says, “Hey Mom…” Jen says, as they walked in the kitchen, “What’s up?” Juli asks Keith. “Not a lot Jewels.” Keith says looking up from his seat at the table. “Hey Jenny…” “Hey Bub…” Jen replies. Juli, aka Jewels, is a 16-year-old girl with red hair and green eyes. She is a very pretty girl with a thin build, but very tone. Juli is the quiet type if she does not know you very well. However, look out… even if she does not know you and you say something that upsets her you will hear about it. Juli has a down to earth personality and very sweet, she makes friends very easily, but finds out that if she is not careful with the friends she chooses they end up using her. Making the reason why she has been hanging out with her boyfriend’s friends for the last 2 years, they took her in and treated her, as they have known her as long as they have known him. Juli’s also has a thing for swords, which makes it very easy for her and Christine to get along so well. Jen, aka Jenny, is a 17-year-old girl with brown hair and hazel eyes, Jen is a little shorter then Christine, but has an athletic build as Christine does, this comes from Jen’s dancing and skating she hopes one day to go pro. She to is a pretty girl, but like Christine does not believe it when people tell her this, Jen and Christine have been friends for as long as they can remember, making her and Keith and their family like her family. Jen has a happy go lucky personality and something very bad has to happen to get her depressed over it and get her out of her happy go lucky mood. “So what have you kids been up to?” Mrs. Richardson asks them. “Not a lot…” Juli replies. “I went shopping with my Mom today for Christmas goodies. It was very nice to spend the day with her.” Jen says. “How is your Mother Jen, I have not seen her for a while now?” Mrs. Richardson asks her. Christine finished popping the corn as they talked, after it had finished she poured the popcorn into the bowl. Just then, the doorbell sounds again. Keith gets up from the table, “It must be Lee, Corie, and Dave.” Keith walks from the kitchen to get the door. Soon Keith enters back into the room with the other three that they were waiting on to start the night. The eight of them started for the basement as Mom calls out to Keith and Christine, “You bunch keep it quiet down there, your father and I do not want to be woke up in the middle of the night with your antics.” “Mom… Dad made that room sound proof two months ago.” Keith replies. “Yeah… That was the last time we woke him up.” Christine says chuckling. “Either way, keep it down.” She tells them. “You will think we left the house we will be so quiet.” Jon replies. “Will do Mom…” The rest of them say headed down the stairs to their own special room that was made just for these nights. Once downstairs they sat in their own chairs that they dubbed for when they all get together, Juli walked over to the TV/DVD player to get the first Anime going as she heard Jon asks, “Hey Chris, where is that crazy game you where talking about earlier?” “Oh…” Christine replies as she gets up from her seat walking to the shelves behind her. She reaches to a box that was about two foot long and a foot wide it was marked with oriental symbols and pictures. The colors of black, gold, and red adorn the box as well. “So where did you find this game Chris?” Jon asks her watching her walk back toward them with the game in hand. “At the new Anime store in the mall.” Christine replies. “At the mall?!” Jon says confused, “I was all over that mall today and I never saw a new Anime store. What level was it on?” “The lower level, over by Sears.” Christine tells him walking around the couch to take a seat. “Ummm…” Jon replies thinking of his trip to the mall today and not seeing the store she was talking about, “What is the place called?” Christine looks at Jon as she gets a lost look on her face as she replies, “You know… I do not remember.” “Wow check out that box… They made it look like it is centuries old.” Juli replies. “The old man said this game has been around for a really long time.” Christine tells them. “If that is so, how could it have… not have, everything you said it does have… does not have?” Keith asks her. Christine looks at Keith confused and shakes her head as she sat the box on the coffee table in front of her and Jen. Jen reaches for the box removing the lid as Juli kneels in front of the coffee table on the other side. Well with that I am out of here. Til Next Time, ~SesshomarusDesire~
