   My Story
Hi! My name is Selena. I come from the Planet Earth. I go to Magic School, which is a place for kids with special powers like me. I can control any elements, like water, earth, wind and fire. I also have physic powers, which means that I can read minds and move things with my mind. At first it was really complicated, but then as I practiced it got a lot easier.
I have five best friends. Their names are Sakura, Alice, Samara, Mecca and Tara. I met them when I first got to Magic School. At first we were strangers, but then we really got to know each other. But there are three girls in the whole school who hate me really bad. Their names are Lily, Salira and Adana. They hate me because I sometimes get more attention from the teachers then they do. But the real reason is because a really cute guy likes me. His name is Max, but that’s another story. I’ll tell you later about it.
So this is about my adventures with my friends and enemies and how we get through the school year.


Chapter 1
“Hey, Selena, wait up!” shouted a voice behind me. I turn around and I see Sakura, one of my best friends. She was the one who told me about Magic School. She has long really pretty brunette hair. She was wearing a skirt and golfers. Her skirt was navy blue color and her t-shirt was black. Her golfers were brown and she was wearing black shoes. She also has really pretty green eyes. They are like emeralds.
“Hey, Sakura! What’s up?” I asked. I was surprised to see her there. Usually we don’t see each other at school except for lunch. Maybe this year things will be different.
“What’s your first period?” asked Sakura, excitedly. She usually didn’t get excited over anything except when she sees Ken.
“Umm… Let me check. I have History,” I said. I hated History back on Earth because it was really boring. I mean do you really want to hear how boring life was back then? I am hoping that this History class is going to be fun.
“ Okay so what do you have next?” asked Sakura. See Sakura is this type of person who wants to know everything whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing.
“Umm… I have Potions,” I answered. I was surprised. I mean do you really want to know about Potions?
“ Okay keep telling what your schedule is,” commanded Sakura.
“ Okay. Then I have Science, Language, Fighting, Spells, Nature Class and Basic Power Class,” I said.
“ Wow! I can’t believe it. We have all the classes together!!!” said Sakura really excited. I have to tell you, I was really surprised too. I mean what were the chances of that happening? I mean last year the only class we had together was lunch.
“ I know! What are the chances of that?” I asked.
“ Well it must have been pretty bad ones considering the fact that I have to put up with both of you the whole day!” said a voice behind us.
We turned around and saw Lily and Salira right behind us. I was so mad. I mean just once I do not want her to be in ANY of my classes.
“What do you want Lily?” asked Sakura, for some reason only Salira and Lily hated her. Adana just didn’t hate her as much as me.
“Nothing, yet. By the way Selena, I talked to Max, he said he will very happy to take me out on date Saturday night,” remarked Lily, happily.
“ And I care because…?” I asked, trying to look like I did not care. See Max has been trying to decide whom he will go out with. Okay flashback. Remember when I told you that I would tell you about Max? Well here it comes. See I knew Max since we were little kids. We were best friends. He even said that he liked me one day. But then when we hit Magic School, he stopped talking to me. Then out of the blue he told me that he was going out with Lily. (I hated her since the day we met.) I said that I didn’t care. Apparently, Max talked about me a lot when he was going out with her, because she came up to me one day and said that Max hated me and that I was a spoiled brat. You’d think she would leave me alone after that, but no. She played pranks on me and got me in a lot of trouble. Soon Max broke up with her, and she blamed me for it. So ever since the break up she hated me. By the way it happened five years ago.
“ Well because he told you that he would take you out on Saturday!” exclaimed Lily. So not true. He told me we should get together with the whole group and go to a party.
“ No. Not really. He told me we should get together and go to a party,” I explained. Ha, that should break her little fantasy world!
“ Nah. That’s not what he told me! He told me that he would take me out!!!” said Lily angrily. Boy, when she gets angry you better watch out.
“ Come on Selena, we better get to our first period before the bell rings,” said Sakura as she pulled me along to the class.
“ Hey come back here you coward!!!” cried Lily, hoping I would come back. But nope. I have learned to ignore all the remarks in the world except from your friends.
“ So where is our History class anyways?” I ask. To tell you the truth I get lost easily, even though I’ve been going here for like five years.
“ Umm… It’s on the schedule room number 207. And let’s see we are in the 200 hallways. So it should be right in front of us. And look there it is!” exclaimed Sakura.
“Yay. We get to go to History,” I said sarcastically. “ I mean do you really want to learn the same thing over and over again?”
“ No. But I’m hoping there will some hot guys in our class,” said Sakura. Go figure. Sakura is always looking for hot guys.
“ Come on, Sakura. You’ve practically known everyone in our class since we were little kids,” I said. It was true. You see I didn’t always go to Magic School. I went in a normal school in grades one through four and in eighth grade. My parents told me that I should try to go to a school on Earth, and then I would go to Magic School. Well that didn’t exactly work out. I had to spend four years in a normal school. Then I went to Magic School, thanks to Sakura and her mom. But in eighth grade I had to go back to a normal school, because my mom’s evil sister came to visit us for a whole year. I got really mad at her for that.
“ So? Maybe we got some new kids in our grade or maybe some of the guys changed!” explained Sakura. Oh, well. I can never change her mind.
“ Come on. Let’s get a sit in the back,” I said. We went to the very last seats in the middle row. And there we saw Max and Ken. Personally I was surprised. I mean what were the chances of that?
“ Hey girls,” said Max. Max was the most popular guy in the ninth grade. Well, at least it was rumored. But then it was wrong. Max and his group were the most popular.
“ Hey Max, hey Ken,” we said in unison. We took our seats in front of them, since they had the last seats.
“Maxie-poo!!! There you are! I can’t believe we have the same class together,” said Lily as she ran into the classroom. Apparently she found his schedule.
“ Yeah, hi Lily,” said Max looking nervous. He hated when Lily called him “Maxie-Poo”. He said it reminded him of his grandmother.
“ Hey, Selena, scoot over, so I can sit next to Max,” said Lily. Boy, did that ticked me off more than usual.
“Get your own seat!” I said.
“ Max, tell her to move,” whined Lily. I really hated when people whined.
“ Get your own seat, LILY!” said Max, in a normal tone.
“ But, I thought that this year we are going to sit together, no matter what,” said Lily.
“ I changed my mind,” Max said. I noticed that Ken and Sakura were both quiet. Usually they would make a remark, but then I noticed that they were looking at each other.
“ But, but…” began Lily.
“ Shoo, girl,” said Max.
“ No fair. She gets to sit by you, and she is stupid,” grumbled Lily. We both got out of our seats at the same time.
“ I am not stupid!” I said loudly.
“ Don’t you dare call my friends stupid,” said Max. Lily just walked off, whispering something to herself.
“ Alright class settle down,” began Professor Karly, “ today is the first day of school.” The Professor had pale blue eyes; gray hair and he had glasses on. His nose was a little too big. He was wearing one of those sweaters that smart people wear. He also was wearing grayish color pants and carried a portfolio under his arms.
“ Today we a going to learn how the school was formed,” he began again, “then next week we are going to have a test over everything we learned so far. But first we are going to have a test.” Okay. I was completely confused. First he said we are going to learn something today, the next minute she said we are going to have a test.
“ So what are we gonna do again?” someone asked. I turn around and see Chuck. He has the biggest crush on me.
“ We are going to have a test over everything you know,” answered the Professor and he took out a very big stack of papers. I am guessing that they are out tests.
“ Okay, I need a volunteer to pass them out,” asked the Professor. I raised my hand. He mentioned to come to him and I did. When he gave the stack pf papers, I swear I was gonna collapse. I swear the papers weighed like a ton. He told me to put one on very desk. So I did. As I was going around the classroom passing out the tests, I saw Lily giving me the evil eye. She stared at me when I was passing her. I finally passed out all the test, which was a relieve, ‘cause I just don’t like when people stare at me non-stop.
“ Okay, you have the entire class period to do it and please no cheating. I will step out for a minute,” said he as he left the classroom.
“Sweet, we can cheat now,” someone said. Okay, I have to tell you that I don’t know everyone in my class.
“ Dude, what’s number one?” asked some guy.
“ Dude, that’s like the easiest one. It’s “A”,” answered someone. And so on and on that’s how was the entire class period. Then the bell ring and the Professor came in.
“ You may leave,” he said. He looked a little happy.
Sakura and I went out of the classroom and went into the next class, which was Potions.
