Do you still remember where you were when the Towers fell six years ago?

I was there in my first period auto collision class, listening to a presentation for Wyotech. (Wyotech is where I went to college.)

After first period, we looked into the cafeteria to see just what the hell people were watching on the TV. I got to that television just in time to see the towers start to fall. Nothing really got done at school that day, not to say for the next week or two.

It amazing how an event can shake the foundations of a world Superpower. We were thought to be insensitive as a people, and never before has this country banded together.

It is unfortunate that I personally do not believe that something like that can happen again to our contry's citezens. Now that we have experienced this tragedy, we have now become desensitized to it. We will feel it, but the sense of country, of pride, of unity, will not be as strong.

These events have shown me that America as a country are extremely biggotted towards other people. What we have done since 9/11 is start a war that can never be won unless this "great" government turns to a religious genocide.

Because what our friends, and families are fighing overseas is not a country, with defined borders. We are fighting religious extremists, who know no borders, know no country. The only thing that they believe is that they have the only right way to think, no one else can exist in their world.

There is a reason I dont post like this often. My views on the world are a touch askew.

this was meant to be a remembrance for the fallen of 9/11. I didnt mean for it to go that far. I apologize in advance if I upset anyone.

Take care
John
