   NEWSFLASH!

Well, today I was sick, and its all ryo-oki's fault!!! (haha, how can someone make another person get sick via the internet???) But yeah. I have a sore throat, and my nose hurts. Jonson told me a few weeks ago that I might have a sinus infection, and sent me to get x-rays of my nose. I have my appointment for that on friday, and another one with Camacho for my sore throat tomorrow.
Well, the speech, I didn't do it. Cause I got sick! YAY SICKNESS *hugs ryo-oki* BUT, the chick in charge of it told me to do it on monday. So I STILL have to do it *sigh*
Well, anyways, the newsflash. I thought I was the only one at school who liked anime. Untill yeshterday. Nicolas was dancing with janet behind me and graciela in dance class. He tried striking a conversation with Janet. Ze Topic: anime. Janet (rather lazily) admitted to watching a bit, until Nicolas began with cowboy bebop and she was just like "I don't get that show..." That was the last for me. I turned around and was like "HOW could you not get cowboy bebop?!?" then we started talking about it and were all hyped up about it till nicolas mentioned Naturo and everyone was silent. Apparently, I'm not the only one who hasn't had the pleasure of watching Naturo. But yeah. Now I know I'll be able to watch some anime on our trip to texas. Haha, we were making fun of nicolas and how he's gonna be the only guy who's will be going to Texas with us, until he pointed out the fact that he was going to get a room all to himself and how the rest of us were gonna have to share the same room. Then we were all silent... again. Its so not fair. The guys always get the better treatments in ballet folklorico. For our presentation at the mall last month, they got an actuall dressroom with two mirrors and a table full of food. And while the four guys were pigging out in their dressing room, the girls had to use a cold, empty storage room with a cement floor and no furniture nor mirrors. So sad...
Oh wellz. Well, I'm tired, and I need my sleep. I guess I'll talk to you guys on saturday, cause I need to work on my speech the rest of the week. So for now... good bye and good nite!
Love and Peace

   excuse???

WoW, I went on the other day and saw all those nice comments on my new site. Thanks peoples, your compliments encourage me! *^.^*
Well, sorry I haven't been around for a while. This was suppose to be a 4-day weekend of peace and nirvana. Instead, its pure chaos, seeing as stupid Jimenez gave us three packets and a whole chapter of reading! Also, my mom wanted me to join this speech contest. I told her I'd do it if I wasn't too busy, and now she's forcing me to go. Dude, the thing is this wednesday... and I don't even know what the hell I'm going to be talking about! I told her IF I had time... but she put in all my info and turned it in and now I HAVE to go! So unfair! Especially seeing that I'm going to work my ass off trying to complete my homework AND the speech, only to make a complete idiot out of myself on wednesday...
That's not all... Yesterday the computer was being such a bitch! I went over to mcafee.com and got a free scan. Turns out I have the same virus infected in four different documents. I told my mom about it and she was like "so how you gonna take them out?" I was like "I .... can't...." And then she was like "WHY NOT?!?" and I explained to her what exactly a virus is and what it does. Then she asked me the same question "so how you gonna take it out?!?" I finally managed to get her to understand that I needed the damn software to clean the files out. So we brought it, and I downloaded it, and now two of the files are uncleanable and unquarantineable cause the virus has been inscripted... *grr!*
Well, on happyer terms, I thought last night's Inuyasha was hillarious. Especially when he was just staring outside at kagome while she was taking her test. Or when the little girl was petting his ears.I couldn't stop giggling through the episode. And the Cowboy Bebop episode was awesome too. I think that's one of my favorites, just cause of the animation in all the violent scenes.. and the shirtless spike... (haha, just kidding, peoples ^^)
Well, nothing much to say anymore. I'm tired, and i'll try to get back to you guys' sites tomorrow.
Oh, wait! I have a problem. Lately I haven't been able to get to inuyasha311's site. I dunno why, but the computer freezes every time I try loading her site. If you guys have the same problem with her site, tell me. Otherwise, I think I might have to take another level with that inscripted virus I told you guys earlyer. If you guys do experience something simillar, then I think my computer is just too slow to take all the graphics on her site (some which are pretty neat ^^)
Well, ta-ta for now!

   soo... tired...

Well, today is Thursday. It was a minimum day at school and tomorrow I will have no school! *yesh!*
Well, as always, I'm sooo tired! Haha, but that's not the point...
Since we're not going to be in school on Monday, aka St.Valentines day, cause it overlaps president's day, everyone was giving eachother their valentines cards and candy and stuff. I gave nothing, exept for hugs. Lee gave me another bag of butterfingsrs *hugs butterfingers* I love lee for that ^^
Anyways, today I got a site running on geocities. And its looking better than this one! Haha, well, I still need a few things. For starters, a menu on the side. So for you site-owners, if you know how to add a menu to your site, please tell me so. I will be enternally grateful... I also want to set up a guestbook. If you could help me out on that as well, I'll be even more grateful. If not, I'll ask my friend, he had a page of his own running about for a while...
BUt on the other hand, the other site's music is WAY better. I can't even describe it, you would have to check it out by yourself. And my BG looks awesome. Okay not the best, but it looks the way I wanted it to look here.
Anyways, today was my first day on it, so it might not be the best.
But if you want to go check it out, click here.
Well, please go check it out, and tell me if I'm missing anything (besides more pages and a menu ...^^) I promise I'll go visit you guys' sites tomorrow, when I'm rested and have more energy in me. But for now, I shall let you all go free...

   CALIFORNESE is RADIOACTIVE!

Haha, well, today I spent half the day talking to my sis online, and the other half I spent it at my grandpa's house eating BBQ. Now I will spend half the night doing homework (heh, I DO NOT PROCASINATE!) *procastination does me* Uh, that sounded weird. But continuing!
My sis sent me this. I thuoght it was funny. Hope you guys enjoy it, especially all my fellow californains...

Californians
So as not to be outdone by all the redneck, hillbilly, and Texan jokes, you know you're from California if:

1. Your coworker has 8 body piercing's and none are visible.
2. You make over $300,000 and still can't afford a house.
3. You take a bus and are shocked at two people carrying on a conversation in English.
4. Your child's 3rd-grade teacher has purple hair, a nose ring, and isnamed Flower.
5. You can't remember . . . . is pot illegal?
6. You've been to a baby shower that has two mothers and a sperm donor.
7. You have a very strong opinion about where your coffee beans are grown, and you can taste the difference between Sumatran and Ethiopian.
8. You can't remember . is pot illegal?
9. A really great parking space can totally move you to tears.
10. Gas costs $1.00 per gallon more than anywhere else in the U.S.
11. Unlike back home, the guy at 8:30 am at Starbucks wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses who looks like George Clooney really IS George Clooney. (heh, I wish *wink wink*)
12. Your car insurance costs as much as your house payment.
13. You can't remember . . is pot illegal?
14. It's barely sprinkling rain and there's a report on every news
station: "STORM WATCH."
15. You pass an elementary school playground and the children are all busy with their cells or pagers.
16. It's barely sprinkling rain outside, so you leave for work an hour early to avoid all the weather-related accidents.
17. HEY!!!! Is pot illegal????
18. Both you AND your dog have therapists.
19. The Terminator is your governor.
20. If you drive illegally, they take your driver's license. If you're here illegally, they want to give you one.

So there you have it! Send it and pass it on! Haha, George Clooney *sighs*
*runs away to try to figure out if pot is illegal*

And you know people, the parking lot... its true!

   its... FRIDAY!

SATURDAY! SATURDAY! SATUUR-DAY! SATURDAY, SATURDAY!, SATUR-DAY!
SATURDAY'S ALRIGHT FOR FIGHTING!
< Nickelback >
Yesh! Today's Friday. And mañana is saturday! SATURDAY!
Yeah, once again, sorry for not visiting, but school's a killer. But there'll be time for that today ^^
Nuthing much this week. We watched Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? in Kholer's class. heh, nothing better than Clooney and Kholer, both in the same room! Haha, just kidding people. Yeah, sure, I think Kholer's pretty sweet looking, and he'd be my type, IF only he was WAY younger.... and wasn't my teacher, lol. And Clooney, ah *sight* We can all dream, right? Heh, my friend makes fun of me cause I think he's handsome, and she thinks he's an old fart (he is old, but like wine, the older he gets the better ^^) So what? She thinks eminem is the hottest man on earth! And, believe me, he's not. Cute, yeah sure, I won't fight that, but hot? NO-O-OOO!
Here, I'll let you guys decide...

George Clooney or Eminem?

Or better yet...

Master Orlando Bloom ,neh?

Haha, just kidding, people. But I know a few girls who'll enjoy that. That's why I put it. I'm not one of those girls who are obsessed with celebreties. Believe me, there are plenty of dorks that keep me satisfied in this town...
Haha, speaking of dorks, I just remembered what freakin Nicolas was doing yesterday. We danced together yesterday. At the end of the dance we were doing, the guy puts his hand around the girl's waist and yells "EY!" But every time he'd grab my waist and wouldn't let go, and he'd just be kinda squishing & feeling my waist with his hand. And since we kept on messing up in the last part, he did that some 4 times before I turned around at him, and he just gave me his goofy smile. As a result, on the last time we practiced, instead of putting his hand around my waist, he came from behind and poked both my sides. I screamed so loud, he was just laughing. And so did I, haha, I couldn't resist, I sounded all funny when I screamed. But I called him a menso, and I think that's why he didn't dance with me today. I didn't meant it, but he really should'nt have gone groaping my sides either... Oh wellz. I'll just wait untill I have my own personal revenge *MWAHAHAAH!*
Well, I dunno what I'll post mañana, but I think I'll post the Laws of Rodenthood. The last time I posted it, only 1 person saw it (heh, it was when I was a rookie) I'm not a rookie anymore, more like a sophomore. Not in the begginer level, but definately not experienced enough to become a "senior" But I'll leave you guys with that thought.
Today's Question is:
Who do you think is better looking in the pictures above?
Peace, man, PEACE!

   ho-hum

Wow, I'm dizzy. Just out on nowhere I got dizzy again. Damn, I'm tired of getting dizzy and sick.
Well, anyways, just in case some of you guys didn't notice, I decided to change my avi. I got this neat wallpaper, and I liked it so much I decided to make an avi out of it. I wish I could post the whole pic, but I still need to get my site from geocities. But yeah. Tellme what you guys think (and, I know, it doesn't match the rest of the site...)
But continuing. Today we danced El Tlaquachito in dance (translation: the small possum) *grumble brumble* I hate possums... But I like the dance. Its neat, you do this cool shuffle step with your feet. I was dancing with Nicolas today, and realized that he's as tall as me, so I might get to dance with that little twig (dude, he's sooooooo skinny, I was like *0.0* where's the rest of your body? when I first met him!!!) Anyways, that was fun.
After dance, I went over to the library to write notes for the presentation for PE (so stupid) But he decided to follow Unice and me to the library. He's such a dork. He was telling us how he didn't get guys who liked asses with "butt floss" as he called it, and how he preffered legs over boobes, although the were "nice". He's so immature... but funny.
Well, nothing more, really. My stomach is hurting again, it sucks.
Oh, yesh. Has anoyone heard The Widow by the Mars Volta? (I think that's what its called) If so, tell me what you guys think of it, I think its pretty cool.
Hmmm, I guess I'll leave you with one more question of the day...
Who is your favorite artist/band, and which is your favorite song?

Or for you dorks like me who can't decide, what's your favorite genre?
Okay, that'll be enough for today.
Fly away, little gerbils, YOU ARE FREE!!!!

Ride On Shooting Star- The Pillows
its the band that plays the ending theme on FLCL
they're awesome!

   once again... *¡YIAAHAHAHAH!*

Well, today was my preformance at the mall. heh, it sucked, a bit. Our stage was tiny, barely enough for two people to dance on (and there were 7 of us at one point) The floor was soooo slippery. I almost fell twice. But thank God the jarito didn't fall and break.
Haha, it was so funny. All the mexican guys were just staring at us while we were waiting to get onstage. A group of them even whistled at us. Such dorks! But everyone was like "WHOA!* when they saw us get onstage with the jaritos and lit candles balanced on our heads, esp when they saw us get off without them falling...
Anyways, MY DADDY'S HOME!! WEEEeEEeEe! Aww, he smells like Mexico! And so does the kitchen. He brought us Mexican bread *yesh!* Mexican cheese *gross, chesse...* and, best, but not least... Mexican Candy *WEEeeEEe!* He brought all kinds of that. Most of it is dried fruit covered in sugar, but he also brought me borrachitos! *so good* They're these little pillows made out of a fruty wiskey cream covered in SUGAR! *notice the sugar*
I feel so special right now. My aunt tia Tere gave me a quinceañera present. She's really old, and hardly has any money for herself, but she still managed to get me something so special. She got me a sarape and a reboso (a sarape is like a poncho thing, but its the traditional thing, and a reboso is like a shawl.) Its the tradition to give fifteen-year old girls these two presents. A gir who wears either one shows that she no longer is a girl, but, if not, a young woman. It shows her maturity, as well as the fact that she can now date. These things are suppose to be every woman's possesion, either poor or rich. I thought I wasn't getting one, seeing as the stupid people are letting the tradition die. But when I saw them, I was so happy. Especially since they're from my tia tere. I love her so much!
Well, my sarape is black with *guess* MAROON! *yesh!* Well, its more of a burgundy red, but I like to call that maroon! Its double sided, and it has a pretty leaf pattern. My reboso is pure white, which is great cause it matches half of my outfits. Both of them are so pretty, and my sarape is so warm! I'm wearing it to school tomorrow, I don't care if the STUPID white guys call me a "beaner". Why? Cause I am! *smiles* No, dude, its kinda funny. For me, my meal is not complete if there's not a side of good-ol' fresh cooked beans ^^ (oh, and abut the stupid white guys, I mean no offence, but there's a group of cacasian boys at my school that are such assholes to the mexicans. But I'm cool with anyone, no matter who they are, as long as they dont diss me...)
Well, that's all for today. Oh, and I've been getting complaints from the word "gerbil". To be called a gerbil is an honor. But I will have respect for you radioactive oranges out there. So...
Farewell, dear gerbils and radioactive oranges/rabid things!

Now Listening to... La Oreja de Van Grogh

Well, I said I would post a pic yeshterday, but I didn't... and I admit this time it was mostly cause of lazyness...
Well, today was full of more chores and homework (see, everyday routine...) Exept that I saw German today at church...
DUDE! I had no idea he could possibly get any hotter than he already had been before he left to PVHS! I am dead serious, Geman can perfectly be named the hottest guy in all of freakin PVHS!
I am soo bad with him. Dude, the moment I saw him I started laughin to myself. My mom was like "what's so funny? YOU"RE IN MASS! PAY ATTENTION!" Me and him were okay friends. We used to sit together in Science in eith grade (whoa, that was such a long time ago.... I feel old...) Well, anyways. I always tend to have unexplainable embarassing moments with him. I member one time, he was crossing by my chair, and I was gonna pull it out to sit on it. Only thing is, he crossed right in front of my chair, and since stupid me wasn't looking, I accidentally grabbed his crotch! I immediately let go and could feel myself getting all red and stuff. I don't think I looked at him for a while, untill he talked back to me about an hour after the incident. Haha, that was so embarassing... but hilarious.
Since the begining of time, he babtized me under the title of Evil, after my various wiked plans for deathtrapped roller coasters. Last year, when we went to six flags for the AVID trip, we were sitting in the bus when I accidentally threw Bobina the female Penguin at his head. Later that day, when we were eating at Wendys, he comes up to me and splashes my face with water. I was left completeley defenceless untill he turned his back and I tried slapping him. But I was sitting down and he was up, and my hand slapped his ass, making a whip-like sound. Hazzel was like "OOO! Slap that ass, so sexy!"
He just turned back, laughing at me in disbelief. I just turned all red... once again... Well, anyways, when I was walking out of church, he just kinda went aside of me and called me Evil. I told him I took that as a compliment. And from him, it is...I miss that bastard so much, as well as all my other friends from PVHS... especiall Yoya and Michi and Lei Anne *sniffle sniff sniss*
Well, Daily picture, here we come!!!
Today's image is that of the Ethel Pope Auditorium in SMHS! (aka, my high school) No, the office is not in there, no we do not host dances in there, no we do not have many meetings and stuff there, but yes, there are times when its half full cause there isn't any more room in OCS(on campus suspencion for you weird ISS ppl...)
Its the oldest building in school, and yes, my last presentation was in here.
It is said that the ghost of a chick lives in here. Sometime in the 60's, there was a girl who was to play the main character in that year's annual school play. Supposedly, she was in a rush, and had a car accident a block away (some say it was in west park, others say it was in front of broadway) Point is, since she was in such a hurry, she left the car as if nothing and ran to the play. Her parents were already in the auditorium waiting for the show to begin, and they saw her do all the acts as if nothing. But when they got home, they got a phone call from the hospital, telling them that their daughter had died in an accident around five-thirty-ish. But how was that possible, if she was in all the acts in the play at 6, when the show started?
Its scary in those rooms. the basement is full of doors that have been locked for more than fifteen years cause the distric is so damn lazy to look for the skeleton key. Last year, Marky and yoya and me were playing hide and seek in there witht he lights off after school(it was raining, that's why I hadn't gone home...)There's a piaon on stage when the band rehearses in there. That day they weren't there, but we hear something fall over the piano's keys. When we got there, there was nothing on them... and no one was around us either, all the band members were upstairs. And, supposedly the chick's spirit is suppose to inhabit in there. But what's even more scary is this. Every year, the dance team holds a show in there. As usual, Amezcua takes pictures of everyone before and after the shows. He's always so picky with his pics, and he NEVER allows anyone behind us when he's taking the picture (haha, he was screaming at the righetto students to move in our last show when he was taking a pic) But, somehow, all throughout the 9 years he's been taking pictures in there, there's always one person standing in the backround. Never out front, just lingering around the shadows. And that same person seems to be the same person in the pictures from other events in that room, especially for the drama club pictures. I haven't seen those, but I have seen some of the ones Amezcua has. A few months ago, I was telling my friends about it, and they didn't believe me. They went over to the library to check out that year's yearbook. We were flipping throught he pages when we see the drama page. It was scary, cause in one page it has the picture of the play, but when you flip the page over, there's a poem dedicated "In Memory of our lost ones" with a picture of the same chick in the previous page.. really freaky, really...
Well, those are me two stories of the day. Haha, this was suppose to be a "short" post. Guess it turned out otherwise. But yeah. I'll let you go now, all freaked out and stuff. And I swear, those things I told you are completeley real things that I have experienced. I'd tell you guys more of the things I've heard, but I haven't had such situations, therefore, why would I put them if there's the possibility of a lie in them???
Anyways, I'll let you freaked out gerbils go now
Hasta la Vista!

   so sorry

I'm so sorry I haven't been able to get online, and even more for not visiting you guys. This week has been full of homework and such, that its been hard, even to turn on the computer for music, cause of lack of time...
Anyways, continuing with the line of my life activities.. I went to the doctor for that check-up, due to those mysterious dizzy spells and stomach aches (yesh, I've been living with them for the past month...) Tuns out.. because of my adiction to zytrec, my body is now rejecting it. Okay, no, I'm not "addicted" to it. Jonson told me to take it when I felt the sniffles coming on early in the morn, but I take it every day, whether I feel sick or not. And that's why I make my own little joke that I'm addicted to zytrec, but I'm not. But point is, I am now unable to take any zytrec, despite the fact that its the only allergy medicine that actually works and doesn't put me to sleep...
Other than that, we had to write an essay for World Lit, that described an unforgettable event in our lives. Before they were due, Kholer made us get into groups and choose the best essay in the group so that that person reads their essay in front of the class. My group decied I should read mine, and I woud have not had any problems with that. Exept with the fact that I wrote about my grandmother's death and how ever since then I've been questioning death itself. I had no idea we were suppose to share our essays, and I wrotre it only for Kohler's eyes and ears and mine. But they eventually made me read it. I noticed that a lot of ppl were silent while I read it, and I even managed to get Graciela to cry. I guess Kholer liked it, too. The next day he came up to me and suggested me read this book that he found rather interesting, and seemed to have a relation to my essay. First thing I noticed was that his copy was full of post-its and notes poking out of the pages, which is weird for me cause most teachers keep their reading-material all neat with a simple bookmark popping out. He offered to make me a copy of a few sections of the book, and I agreed. He gave me the copy yesterday. I didn't noticed how into it I was untill I flipped the last page and noticed he didn't finish copying the rest of the book. Its really interesting, combining both logic and religion together. The book is called The Divine Conspiracy. I dunno if its author is Catholic or of another Christian religion, but it doesn't matter. Its really interesting, and I'm gonna go check it out at the library.
Hmm... what else? Oh yesh, this Sunday we have a presentation at the mall. I'll be doing San Pedreño and Alazanas. What sucks is that I'm in front for most of the dance in Alazanas. I don't mind being the center of attention (yesh, I know, so modest...) but its the fact that I'm not really good with that dance that makes me nervous. Therefore, I guess in this case, I'm not really exited of being in front. Oh wellz.
Perhaps the most important news for today is that my daddy's coming back from Mexico this Sunday afternoon, as well. *YAAAY!* I've missed him so much!
Anyways, I have to go now. Dinner's a-shouting, and I'm hungry. I'll come back in a bit and put up a pic and visit you lovely gerbils,.
Ta-ta for now!

   sorry...

well, first of all, sorry I haven't posted anything since thursday. I've had other things going on this weekend, and, well... I guess I just didn't found the right time to get online. Just to prove that my life does not revolve around the computer...(amazing, isn't it?!?)
Well, friday, I came home exhausted. I bathed, ate dinner, and fell asleep. Saturday, I woke up late and did choresk, went to church, and had some visitors untill ten. I usually watch something (MXC!!!) untill 11:30 (after futurama), when I get ready for bed. I get everything ready before FMA, so that by the time cowboy bebop is over, I can hit my bed directly with undisturbed sleep. But my mom got up and made me go to my bed before time. I was gonna sneak up anyways, but the cozyness of my bed trapped me, and I was unable to get up to watch any of my shows :(
Well, today, once again, I got up late, did chores (yet again...) showered, and went out to eat with my mom. Afterwards, we went to wal-mart for some supplies (die DIE DIE WALMART!!!!) we went over to visit my grandpa, and we just came back. And, as usual, I still have homework to finish. But its not that much.... I've already given up on doing notes for fridays.
yeah, pretty boring, aint it? Well, those are my weekends. Next week, I have a presentation at the mall for "multicultural week". I dunno when, the event takes place from 12 to 4, but I doubt it very much we'll be dancing all 4 hrs. But that's not all that important. My daddy's coming back from mexico the same day, late at night. I've missed him so much. I can't wait to see him! And to tell him I've made it to the texas trip ^.^
Well, I guess all I need to do is post the daily picture of the day, isn't it?...

Okay, so its not really a picture... But its still funny! haha.
Oh yesh, I almost forgot. Friday a school, me and yadira were sitting in her chem class during break, where out of nowhere... LEE pops out *eek!* that was disturbing, I swear, I think he stalks on me! So there we were, just talking about random crap and his story like usual(I helped write part of it ^^) when out of nowhere, Yadira looks straight into lee's eyes and asks "do you like laura???" I was so embarassed, I couldn't look back to lee's side. ( I don't like lee, but I don't like ppl asking guys if they likes me either...) I wasn't pissed at yadira, I was just... disturbed. Well, afterwards, she left us alone, leaving more embarassing time between us, and then the bell rang *who-pee* Well, that was the my story of the day. Hope you enjoyed it! (heha, I didn't...)
Ok, I'll let you mean gerbils go now...
¡Hasta la Vista!
and don't forget to stay safe! *wink wink*
