   Heh
A Ranma picture is almost done! It's a spur of the moment kind of picture, so it's kinda sketchy. Ranma! I like!

   SUMMARY
Just a summary of what i did during the 5-day Outward Bound camp.

DAY 1

Pitched shelters called 'basha'. Much more open and vulnerable than normal tents, thankyouverymuch. Pitched them near the belaying 'poles' in Camp 1. My watch (group) name was WASHINGTON, and it turned out that my watch 'residential', which means that we got to sleep in the dorm. For 1 night only, though. Other watches such as JUNKO were 'mobile', which meants that they sleep in tents. . Did some belaying practice, learned to tie some important knots a.k.a enjoying boredom.

DAY 2

Climbed the Inverse Tower. We climbed in pairs, attached to each other with a belt. Me and my partner reached the top! Awesome sensation. Then i belayed my other friends, and got some rope burns on my left hand in the process. We did some kayaking training, including capsizing (shallow waters). FUN.

DAY 3

Trekked from Camp 1 to Camp 2, for about 4 km. Got the responsibility as the pacer from checkpoint 2 to checkpoint 3 - tedious job. Couldn't talk for the whole 1.5 km, for the fear of losing count (which might have resulted in the watch getting lost. GULP). Saw the names of the mobile watches on their respective store rooms. (So THAT'S where they have been when we residential watches were in Camp 1!) Btw, there were only 5 residential watches, and 16 mobile watches.

DAY 4

KAYAKED from Camp 2 to Camp 3. Camp 3 is just a campsite, a.k.a no facilities AT ALL. By the way we kayaked AROUND the island. 18km for 8 hours. We kayaked against the current during some parts of the journey, and it even rained heavily along the way. ^.^

Thought that we reached paradise when we reached Camp 3. Man, were we wrong. SANDFLIES GALORE. (I still have the bites on my arms and legs).
Didn't get to see wild boars, though.

DAY 5

Kayaked back to Camp 1. Realised how comfortable Camp 1 was. Camp 1 was only 200m from Camp 3. We could practically see it from Camp 3. Man, did we feel cheated.

NOTE THAT THIS IS JUST A SUMMARY OF EVENTS. I DON'T WANNA BORE YOU GUYS. YOU CAN BET THAT LOADS MORE HAPPENED THERE, LIKE WHEN A FISH JUMPED OVER MY HEAD WHEN I WAS KAYAKING. ^.^

   Huh?
I was just wondering about the english dubbing of Rurouni Kenshin. Some sites said that it was first aired in 2003, but I remembered watching the english dub in 2000. Maybe I watched the Asian english dub, i guess. But i never finished watching the english dub. i watched the Japanese original on TV 3 times, though...They show loads of Japanese original anime here...^.^

   OLD FAN ART
As you guys can see, I posted a new Inuyasha picture. It's not exactly new actually, it's a very old fan art I did when I had a LOT of time. My digitally coloured picture is still in progress, but I'll try my best. See you. By the way, I will be at camp for the next 5 days, so, my account won't be updated until I return from camp.

   GULP
SOOOOOOOOO sorry for the lack of fan art submissions lately. I swear I'm currently working on 2 pictures. (Both of the same anime!). OK, so now you know that the digitally coloured picture is a Rurouni Kenshin one. Ah.... I love that anime-manga soooooooo much. I've been listening to 2 of a Kind and Natsu no E on repeat for the past few hours I've been working on the digitally coloured picture. It's not just any RuroKen picture though. You may expect it by Sunday, or maybe after the 19, after my Outward Bound School camp.

This is off-topic, but Natsu no E is such a pretty song! For those of you who have never heard of this song, it's a duet sung by Suzukaze Mayo (Kenshin) and Fujitani Miki (Kaoru). And then there's 2 of a Kind, sung by Doi Mika (Megumi) and Ueda Yuuji (Sanosuke).

And when working on my art, I was also listening to Ignited and Akatsuki no Kuruma. Gundam Seed songs are nice. And of course I can't do without the good ol' English songs. No Scrubs by TLC is a nice song to listen to, although it's and old song. Then there's We Believe by Good Charlotte (WOOT!). O hmy god I love Good Charlotte. Too bad I missed their concert during their Asian leg of their tour.

So, this entry was about music. See you next time! Wilderness awaits me. As in, like, 4 days, and I'll be away from civilisation with the whole Secondary 3 cohort!

Sorry!
It's the COMMON TEST week! This means that I won't be able to spend as much time as I want on my pictures and on the computer. It also means that I'll be posting the Kenshin/Aoshi/Kaoru/Misao picture later than I expected. Don't expect too much though. I don't like how I coloured the picture at the moment....

OH MY GOD I can't believe I'll be leaving for a 5-day camp on the 15th of August. It's called Outward Bound School...trekking and kayaking and stuff.

   MORE
If you guys have been wondering why I've been so quiet lately, then here's the answer:

I'm working on a new picture!

It's a picture of Kenshin, Kaoru and Misao attacking Aoshi! I know, I'm making it sound like Kenshin's some kind of coward. BUT HE IS DEFINITELY NOT. It's just a picture! If it weren't for Kaoru and Misao, the picture would look very plain. Actually, this picture was purely for the sake of testing out my new colour pencils. So, expect some ugly mistakes. I'll post it. But I have no idea how to - my picture's about the A3 size - as my scanner is only for paper sizes A4 and smaller.
