   Devastation Virus Review
Well, it's been a pretty good week, and I'm glad that I'll be on vacation next week. Today I'll be reviewing a much underrated card. The card itself is from the new set, Flaming Eternity. It's a super rare called Deck Devastation Virus.

Deck Devastation Virus: FET-EN058
“Tribute one Dark monster on your side of the field with an ATK of 2000 points or more. Check all monsters on your opponent's side of the field, your opponent's hand, and all the cards they draw for the next 3 turns, and destroy all monsters with an ATK of 1500 or less."

Now, I know you might be thinking “What good does that do?" Well, this can be a very effective card. In the advanced format, this card may only be useful to against a Weenie Deck or Burn deck, but in Traditional play, this can be a helpful card.
You might also be thinking, "2000 points is way too high for possibly killing 1500 ATK monsters!" However some cards fit the requirements.

Giant Orc is one of them. I use these in my Chaos Beat down. When I run into a Weenie Deck, I use this. In case you don't know, Giant Orc is a Goblin Attack force with only 100 less ATK. That means a 2200 BEAST (Adjective, not type) that's a Dark monster. Just attack, and when your opponent draws, use DDV.

Another monster that is a good card for this use is Chaos Emperor Dragon. I know it sounds stupid, but picture this: You didn't use his effect and it is now your opponent's turn. They use Raigeki. That sucks. You have nothing to block it with, but you do have DDV face down. You see, if you activate the Virus, the inevitable destruction of your CED will go to a good use. You not only get to see your opponent’s hand and field, but their monsters with 1500 or less get destroyed! That could possibly mean no attack that turn.

Now, I know you’re probably thinking, “What monsters would it even hit?” Well there’s quite a few. It hits the infamous Yata-Garasu, Sangan, Witch of the Black Forest, DD Warrior Lady, Don Zaloog, Exiled Force, Cyber Jar, and pretty much anything in a Burn or Weenie Deck. Those are just off the top of my head.

In conclusion, I feel that this much underrated card at least belongs in the Side Deck, but isn’t good enough to go in the main deck. The reason it belongs in the side deck is because it is a bit situational. If you play a Beat down, it won’t do much good.
