Tuesday

Hello everyone!
How are you?

Just a few more weeks before Summer Break for me. Then I can focus more attention to my long neglected sprite comic. I'll also try to post more frequently too.

Sprite Comic Section:

I plan to answer any questions about anything sprite comic related if you have any. I'll start off with some Q&A I thought of:

Q: What audience are you aiming Lucky 7's towards?
A: Anyone really. Don't think just because the two main characters are female it's aimed to appeal more to girls.
I seem to notice that most shows that appeal to both males and females have guys as the dominant characters. There aren't many shows that are the other way around *only one I can think of at the moment is Blood +*. I also find that in action shows the female characters tend to be stereotypical weaklings or have some flamboyant methods of obtaining their powers.
When I made Shanto & Innosence, I did have the intention of breaking that stereotype. I however want them to be viewed as powerful characters, not powerful "female" characters. I believe the first step to ending that large stereotype is to view the character as a character before their gender.

That was sorta long but I hope you found that interesting. I’ll do a post talking about my favorite, respectable female characters in action oriented media if people want me too. Remember to ask in the comments if you have any questions for me.

Have a great night!
