Bet you never suspected I'd be back, eh?

I guess I just missed writing about my life to much. Between that and the fact I'm too lazy to start a blog on My Space, and they don't have blog options on Facebook, I'm gonna be chillen here.

So yeah, I've been at college for a couple months now. It's pretty cool. I'm in a mythology course, which I like alot, some shitty math course, an art class where my teacher is a whacko (there's a running joke in the class that she's been sniffing too much rubber cemement), a 300-level spanish course where we watch Spanish movies then do like oral presentaitons on them, and public speaking ( I have to do a speech in two days and still have no idea what to talk about; it's a persuasive speech, and I only want to use abortion or gay rights as a last resort).

The thing I miss most about home is my dogs, and my mom paying for all my food. Not that I'm not on a meal plan here, it's just that it, well, sucks. Luckily there's a Chik-Fil-A, or this cat'd be dead.

I'm also in the anime club. I'm an active member, I'd like to say. I got a bunch of people interested in GTO. We watched NOIR (which, uh, I hated, sorry NOIR fans) and we started Escaflowne last week which is much, much cooler. I've even found loads of closet anime fans in my hall, so I've ended up burning cds for all of them, including stuff from SamCham, Naruto, Bleach, NOIR (despite the lameness of the anime, the music still kicks ass), Cowboy Bebop, and many others.

Other than that, my room has been dubbed, "The Ice Fortress", because it's so Effin cold in here. It's also been rainy and cold the past two days, so I'm spending even more time in it than usual.

Hope everyone missed me while I was gone and grew to appreciate my humor (haha, just kidding). Uh, I guess I'll start movie quotes back up sometime later this week after I make some banners or find my old ones. They should be on photobucket somewhere...

Hope everyone faired well while I was gone! I'll be making more updates to my site throughout the week, so look for the perpetual coolness! Ja ne!

   Return Test.

Like it says in the title of the post, it's pretty self-explanitory.

   I hate rainy days.

I wanted a chance to break in my new Pumas. I've never owned Pumas before, it's quite an interesting concept. My new Pumas are maroon with a yellow stripe. Pretty hot.

Anyways, in the last 2 days, I've spent over a hundred bucks on DVDs to make me feel better from my camp experience. It's pretty sad though. If I'm ever around any of you and I'm talking about buying more DVDs, DON'T LET ME!! Not until November, anyways. So, I spose you want to hear what I got? FMA vol. 2 and PMK vol. 6 (I might have already told you that), and then yesterday, I bought the 1st season of 3rd Rock from the Sun (God, I LOVE that show!), Zoolander (it was only 10 bucks!), and Daria:Is it College Yet (c'mon, DARIA, people, IT'S A CLASSIC!).

Other than that, I've just been buying green tea frappacios every day, watchin old movies, and eating Asian food. I wish I was Asian alot of the time. On the other hand, I wouldn't have my cool Family Crest (my coat of arms, heh heh, it has lepords on it, which are close enough to tigers for my liking), and I wouldn't have a last name that meant turnip in Yugoslovian. Damn, how COOL am I?

Allright, I have to figure out how to fix my goddamn iPod again. Man, this is more trouble than it's worth.

Peacew out!

   Good evening, Internet!

Wow, it's probably the first time I've updated in aboot 5 weeks. There's a reason for that...yeah, it's called "work". If you can call work a seriously underpaid and soul-trying hellhole.

Know what I'm talkin about?

Seriously, you think you have a tough job (and I know some of you really do, so I'm sorry about the following ga-zillion words of rant)? Ok, try babysitting 36 9 year-olds for 4 weeks, only they never go home. I mean, the first night of one of the sessions, one girl kept crying because her stomach hurt (she was really homesick) and I had to drag her ass down a mountain to the infirmary 3 times between 9:30 and 10:45. AND THEN the girl who slept on the bunk above me KEPT ROLLING AROUND (you have NO idea how much these fucking things shake) and went to the bathroom (slamming the door each way in and out) FIVE TIMES between 10:15 and 10:45. WHAT THE HELL? ARGGHH! AND THEN THEY STARTED SLAPPING FIGHTS BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T SHARE A DAMN MAGAZINE FOR 10-YEAR OLDS!!!!!! And then one was REALLY whiny and complained all the time, and one tried to tell others what to do, and one was really loud and obnoxious, and drove some other girl to tears over squashing a spider. WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?! AND THEN they'd always ask me why I never laughed or smiled (oh, let's see, IT'S CAUSE I FUCKING HATED THEM) and when I did laugh at a counselor's joke they'd scream "SHE SMILED! SHE SMILED! TAKE A PICTURE!!" What IS it with kids and picture-taking obsessions!?!?!?! Luckily no one in my cabin wet the bed or threw up alot, thank god for that. There was another kid in a different cabin who had to wear a diaper at night.

Luckily Duo's letters kept me sane, thanks for that, Duo!

I also read to Harry Potter books (how insane was Half-Blood Prince?!), and Ellen DeGenerous book (one of the fucking funniest things I've ever read), and read a 1009-page George R.R. Martin fantasy book in 11 days. My greatest accomplishment in literature to date, well, besides getting through The Metamorphasis without laughing out loud.

I also took the time to purchase an "Otaku" shirt on my day off. It's black with "Otaku" spray painted in yellow and then under it says otaku in Japanese, I spose. I'm not positive because I can't read Japanese. Adding to that, I also bought Constantine (had to watch it 3 times, and I still don't fully understand it), and bought My Chemical Romance's "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" cd. It's fantastic. Especially the songs "Helena" and "You Know What they do to Guys Like Us in Prison". Oh, and I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. My thoughts on that were the Oompa Loompa songs were better, and it had a more satisfying ending, I thought, but I love Tim Burton too. Doesn't mean I still don't like the original, though.

Now that I'm back, I'm stocking up for college. Ack, Red Tigress:College Student, who woulda thunk? I began hanging on MyO in 10th grade. Anyways, I'm taking contemporary mathmatics (easy if you've already studied precalculus, I suspect), Basic Design (for art), Mythology and It's Influence in the classical studies dept, and public speaking. Oh, and on a placement test I took back in June I scored 12 credits, so I'm goin right into a 300-level Spanish course called "Spanish Cinema" where we just watch movies in Spanish.

"Viva El Zorro!!"

haha. I figured I'd been typing too long without a picture.

My mom's been buying me lots of crap for college too, including:

-Numerous pillows
-Sheets
-Shoes
-Fugly clothes ("You can't wear your weird little Zelda t-shirts the entire time!!")
-Shoes that look like loafers (I convinced her to buy me some tevas and soccer cletes today)
-Storage items
-Cutlery
-A BRAND NEW TOSHIBA LAP TOP WITH LOADS OF ACCESSORIES!!!!!!
-Lots of soap
-Exercise "outfits" ("You'll look so GOOD at the gym!")
-A new soccer ball, shinguards, and goalie gloves to match my new cletes (and they're ALL red, heh heh heh)
-A cool clock radio that doubles as an iPod player and charger

I also bought for myself today:
-Ultimate X-Men Volume 7 (it's got Spidey AND Daredevil!!)
-The Ultimate Survival Guide: College
-FMA Volume 2
-Peacemaker Kurogane Vol. 6

I have so much Bleach and Naruto to catch up on though. I dread downloading all that and figuring out where I last left out.

I also suggest a Green Tea Frapp from Star Bucks to EVERYONE!!

I had one of these babies today, and it was like drinking Green Tea Ice Cream, it TOTALLY rocked my socks! If you're on a diet, get it no whip, like I did.

That's all for now, I'm typed out. Hope you guys still love me, even though I dodn't really visit any more, and my GB has 46 more entries then when I left.

More Roomy!

Well, hello there! Yes, I've been out of town. Only dropping my bro off at camp and such. But I bought some more Batman comics, hehe! And am re-reading Harry Potter (I'm on GOF, now). So, I figured it was time to get this room thing back in gear.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The pride and joy that is my stereo. It only came in blue, otherwise I'd gotten it in red. You can bet this baby's goin to college with me. There's just kinda trophies and junk on top of it. It's like an extra shelf.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Under my stereo are my DVD boxed sets, including the LOTR:EEs, Aqua Teen, Family Guy, and Futurama. There's also LOTR books on cd there, but the thing is so ridiculous to listen to, I can't take it seriously.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
These are the DVDs I own, anime is at the top. You might notice that most of them are comic book movies. Yeah, that's pretty much right. There's also some Kill Bill, Ninja Turtles, and Austin Powers in there, though, heh heh.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This is my tiger wall scroll above my stereo, actualyl from Japan. It was 700 yen, which at the time I thought was alot of money, and then I realized it was more equivilent to 9 bucks. Gosh, us Americans and our zeros. The tiger picture next to it was a professional photograph I found in a local art show, and the woman who took it told me all about how she had to take the photo from on top of an elephant.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
My CD collection. Soundtracks are at the top, good rock and anime in the middle, bad stuff (i.e. Creed, Jock Jams 5) at the bottom, more to keep the thing balanced.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I'm not very good with plants.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
My Episode III poster I won at the midnight showing for knowing Mace Windu's lightsaber color and being able to raise my hand fastest.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
My chair, and my Art 1 perspective panda-Chinese Food Take-Out box hybred. It was our final, and I kinda screwed up on the lame bamboo forest, but that's ok.

Well, that's the end of the tour. I cleaned my room, so it's not quite as messy as it used to be, and also there's a 3-foot high Shawdow (from Sonic the Hedgehog) stuffed animal my friend won at an amusement park, but gave it to me cause she couldn't take it to Vermont with her.

Next on Red's Blog:

A comparative Harry Potter Cover Story. And the link the the Goblet of Fire trailer, for those who haven't seen it. Till next time!

Red Tigress: COLLEGE STUDENT!!

Yes, I've FINALLY graduated from High School! With an advanced diploma! Da da dummm! I took a break from going online for like, a week, which is why many of you haven't seen me around. Also, my all-night grad party was tuesday night, which rocked, cept the only thing I won was some lame-ass coupon to a taco place I've never heard of, so I gave it to my bro. I got a new digital camera and printer for graduation, so you guys can expect to see alot more pictures in the future. I also got a huge Ultimate Spidey Collection. I mean, this thing is HUGE and contains like, 8 volumes. But the grad party rocked. I mean, swimming, gambling (The Tigress ROCKS at Blackjack, haha), laser tag inside of a giant, inflatable spaceship, rock walls, DDR (of which the Tigress SUCKS at) and a whole lot of other stuff.

Other things I've done...saw Star Wars AGAIN, but to tell the truth, after being visited my my wise-ass, singing, star-wars quoting 24/7, 8 year old cuz, I'm kinda not in the mood for it anymore. I did see Batman Begins, so I've reverted to a comic phase. Picked up some Batman graphic novels, including one called "Wargames" cause mainly it had Batman, Batgirl, Catwoman, Nightwing, Robin, AND Spoiler, who might be a ditz, but she has a WAY cool costume.

Woocha!

I also got the Batman Begins soundtrack. I have no idea what any of the titles are, but the soundtrack ROCKS.

So anyways, I'll continue with the virtual room tour tomorrow. I know I still have to put up prom pics, and now grad pics too, I haven't forgotten.

Till then, Peace out, cub scouts.

   hooray!

New fan art! It's my first stuff in over a year, so check it out! Think I've improved? I'd update, but it's too late in the day now. I fell asleep on my couch, and now have to go to a band dinner. Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy weekend!

Allright, gang, ready for the next leg of the Tigress Room TOur? I'd make you all shirts, but you know on the back of shirts where they put the cities the band's been too? Mine would probably just say:

"THE WORLD. YEAH, WADDUP?"

So that might not be such a good investment.

In the meantime, after the room tour is up, I'll put up the Senior Prom 2005 tour. Oh, and I also rented Scrubs and The Brak Show from Blockbuster. After about 5 episodes of the Brak show, I was pretty much worn out, but Scrubs was AWESOME. EVERYONE should watch it. I only had a chance to watch one volume, but there was a funny Star Wars thing in it. Wait, what am I talking about, the whole thing was funny! Except at the serious parts, but those were well-written too. What a great show! *bubbles inside*

Ok, so this be my mad cool wall calendar. It has a wicked awesome dragon this month, but it's by the same guy that does all the art for the Pern books by Anne McCaffery. His name is Michael Whelan, if you want to check out his site, aspiring artists. Some VERY cool stuff there, I promise you.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This is the big wall. I know that's a Matrix Reloaded poster, and the movie wasn't superb, but I thought it was done really cool-ly. And the tagline is "How Far Down Does the Rabbit Hole Go?" which, face it, is just an awesome tagline. The Spidey 2 and Goldmember posters were gifts. The Aragorn poster I got a Target for like, 5 bucks, and that hot, oversized Legolas poster I got at allposters.com for TWO FRIGGIN BUCKS! IS THAT AWESOME OR WHAT?! Yeah, it is. You know it!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Here's the bed under the posters. I pretty much use it as an extra shelf. That's why Lappy's on it. I pretty much just use Lappy for anime now, and Compy for anything else, though. Compy's in a different room, cause there's no space for Compy in my room, as you can plainly see.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
That is my fav window (it's very green outside, you'll see. Lot's of foliage, I love it. It smells nice after it rains). The cards stuck in the window are all b-day and X-mas cards from my friends here at the mO or overseas. The fish mobile is made of wood, and it was a b-day present from my aunt about 4 years ago. It's fun to play with, but I always run into it by accident. It's hanging from the AC vent in the cieling.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Past the window is a bunch of tiger pics (naturally). I take old tiger wall calendars, and cover empty space on my walls with them. One time I was REALLY bored, and went around and named ALL the tigers on the pictures. Also there are various trophies and awards, mostly from soccer, but there are a few from B-ball, academia, and my "Most Improved Marcher" from band in 9th Grade. That cool lizard pic is something I drew in 5th grade.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Random figureines from Childhood.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
My mom got so sick of there being no room on my bed for me because of all the stuffed animals, she bought a shelf and loaded them all on it. The headband that's on the white tiger on top used to be on one of my many Tiggers. I got it from a b-day party my bro had at his Tae Kwan Do dojo before he quit by 7th grade. The quitter. The tiger next to him has a beanie from my track & field days. But yeah, if you still haven't been convinced that tigers are my favorite animals (which I VERY much doubt), there's only more to come.

Hope everyone had or is having a great weekend! Toodeloo!

   More Roomy!

I have to make this quick, because in the next hour I have a book to finish, a power point presentation to make, and poetry to write. But I needed a break.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
My chair. I've since taken everything off of it, though. So it's clean now.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
My more interesting horoscope collection of blurbs (Go Saggitarius!). Also, a pretty cool pic of Spidey I printed off...the begginings of my Fantasy book collection. Some Redwall, and LOTR books. Those cds are cds from childhood I haven't gotten rid of, for whatever reason. You'll see my real cd collection later.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The best picture of a head I ever drew. Course, I might be able to draw it better now, I haven't tried. This was two years ago, I drew that. I sat in front of the computer looking at a photo for about 3 and a half hours, drawing that. No joke.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This is where the posters begin. A scooby Doo one that was a gift, a Spiderman one, pretty generic. Also, my really nice Two Towers one I got off All Posters.com (I'm a preferred customer).

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
More fantasy series, including the Rhapsody series, Sword of Truth (I've sinced picked up the 4th one of that), and Wheel of Time. Also, my Gollum statue I got with the Extended Edition of The Two Towers, which doubles as a necklace holder. Next to that is the Minas Tirith I got with the Extended Edition of Return of the King. I still haven't figured out what to put inside of that. Maybe some nicer jewelry. Or just my favs. I'm not sure yet.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The end of my fantasy books, including some Terry Brooks trilogies, and the rest of Wheel of Time, not to mention the Song of Ice and Fire (I've since aquired the second book in the series). Also, my Beanie Baby Bears I keep up there, if you couldn't tell, among beanine baby tigers in random places. Also at the end there, are all my Calvin and Hobbes comics, and some Get Fuzzy ones. Calvin and Hobbes are my favorite newspaper comics ever.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Ah, my pride and joy manga and comic collection. It may not look like much, but I treasure it. Also, under the tape is my Batman Handbook. A must read, for any aspiring vigilante, I keep it on hand at all times. Among the manga is some GTO, DNAngel, Trigun Maximum (the original Trigun's on another shelf), some Cowboy Bebop, SDK, and Naruto, including the first two volumes from SPAIN, in SPANISH. The comics are mostly Justice League of America, but also a few Flash, some Ultimate X-Men, and a classic Spiderman collection. I think there's also an animated Justice League in there, which was a gift. On top of there is an empty box of French Pockey my good Canadian friend, Some Guy, sent to me. I treasure it. ;)

These shelves were all above my bed. Next time, the wall naxt to my bed, complete with more posters, and a kick ass wall calendar. Starting to notice all the tiger paraphenalia yet?

DESPITE WHAT YOU MAY THINK, I AM NOT DEAD!!

Hey, all. Just been busy lately, what with senior year and all, and senior prom this past weekend (pics from that NEXT week). So I decided to kick off my comin back in style, by copying SG's little room spiel (sorry, SG), because I beleive a person's room explains ALOT about them.Sorry these are so big, but Photbucket's being a butt, and I can't resize them without loosing them. So, here we go!!!

This is actually the wall you see upon entering, because the door frame is surrounded by a little protrusion. I decided to cover that up with cool magazine covers from some of my favorite movies (granted, Matrix reloaded was a fav BEFORE it came out in theaters, but the covers looked cool, so I didn't take them down).

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Some X-Men 2 covers, and my Mario Light switch.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
My half brother installed this when I was about 7, and it makes me think of him, so I've never taken it down. ^_^

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Continuing on, to some more recent covers on the side of my desk...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I cover my desk in cartoons, and pictures of hot guys, as you can plainly see from this and the next couple of pics.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Over the Hufflepuff crest, you'll see some LOTR figureines that SOme Guy painted for me and sent me,and I put them under my Scooby Doo bobble head.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The very back of the desk. I like to cover it in cartoons I think are relevant to my life, which mainly include Foxtrot comics having to do with Star Wars, LOTR, or comic books. That squid has been hanging there for like 6 years. I used to want my desk to have an "underwater theme". I also had a stingray, but he's long since fallen down.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Some randomness, including a a Tigger Pez Dispenser.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
My dragon collection. Mostly from around the US, but the Cat I got in Japan. There's also a green dragon I got in Japan, which I think you can see in the shot before this one.

That's it for today, tomorrow I'll show you some walled posters, art work, and my comics. Sorry this couldn't be as well versed as SG's, but I like more bulk, and more to the point. I hope everyone has had a great few weeks that I've been away!
