Background: Team 7's teacher, and has a mysterious background regarding his Sharingan that everyone's dying to find out.
The Deal with him: Kakashi's the 1st ninja in the series that we see wearing a mask. His past is shrouded in mystery. His left eye is an implanted Sharingan eye(from his dead team-mate)which he used to copy over thousands of techniques, and earned him the nickname of Copy Ninja Kakashi. Infact, his only original move is the Chidori (Chirping of a Thousand Birds) or later also known as Raikiri (Lightning Edge) named from him once cutting through lightning.
Team 7 is the 1st group of Genins that Kakashi passed as it seemed that they have comprehended the importance of teamwork. Yet now, it seems that the teamwork is falling apart because of Sasuke's wussi-ness.
Though cool and very attractive, Kakashi is a somewhat biased teacher as we see that he places more energy in teaching Sasuke. He's not as serious when teaching Naruto and seems to give up on Sakura. He might be making the same mistake as Sandaime Hokage for 'investing' in the wrong ninja.
Kakashi is seldom on time for an appointment because he always spends too much time staring at his dead best friend's grave (he was crushed by a giant boulder).
He is from the Animanga Naruto! Kakashi is the Jounin sensei of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. He may seem a little perverted sometimes and called 'hip' among the other Jounins(coughGaicough), but he is a well known shinobi as "Copy Ninja". He supposedly copied about 1000 jutsus with his Sharingan. Kakashi used to be a member of the famous Fourth Hokage Yondaime's team along with Uchiha Obito (who gave Kakashi his Sharingan) and Rin (The Sakura in the olden times).
