I had a whole post typed up and it decided to disappear but I'm too tired to retype it.

I will, however, go ahead and repeat the important part:

I spent most of the day in South Plainfield, NJ where my friend, who recently joined the band And Then There Were Machines, would be playing a show later in the night. What made this so awesome (besides the fact that they were good) was that they opened for Kris Roe of The Ataris who was playing there as part of his acoustic tour.

I didn't know much of their music before but I had heard of them and knew a couple of their songs so it was cool to get a chance to talk to him after the show. I took a couple of bad pictures with my phone which I might upload when I'm less lazy.

Well, that's it. I just thought this was worth mentioning. Thanks for reading and have a great night/day!

Hey everyone. Not too much of interest happened today. The day pretty much consisted of me waking up, doing some homework, having dinner, coming back to school, doing some more homework, and talking to people online.

However, I did finally get my fishing pole after only a few more minutes of trying tonight. My total number of items opened for it: 331. Total time spent: probably close to 5 hours. Was it worth it? Absolutely.

So yeah, that's pretty much it. Now for comments:

PhoenixClawth:
The fishing pole makes more sense if you know the game. As for the commercial, I haven't seen it but I have heard of it. I'll definitely have to go look for it now.

I personally thought Plum was really funny but I read the manga - I haven't seen her in the show yet.

Thanks for the optimism but I know I didn't do as well as I could have simply because I didn't include any sources from the text in the paper. Quotes help to support the argument but I really just felt like getting this one done, especially since I didn't agree with what I was writing so I didn't bother with them. Congrats on your PSAT essay though.

One-day:
The other book, in case you really do want to read it, is called Yvain The Knight of the Lion, written by Chretien de Troyes. The version I had was translated by Burton Raffel and it's ISBN is 978-0-300-03838-5. It's actually a really good story and I liked it a lot. It focuses on Yvain, a knight from King Arthur's court and his adventures. I won't say more than that, in case you plan on reading it.

As for the next book, it's called The Nibelungenlied and I have no idea how to pronounce it. I've been told that it very strongly parallels The Aeneid though so it should be good.

And finally, I'm pretty sure you know my Skype name now ^_^

So, that's all for tonight. Thanks for reading and have a great night/day!

Hey everyone. Not too much of interest happened between Monday and now. We had our first Mechanics quiz which was extremely easy but that was about it.

Tonight, however, was fun. I got a call from a friend of mine today telling me that his new band was playing tonight and that I should go. So, my other friend and I decided to go see the show which turned out to be about an hour from where we live. It was worth it though - the new band (And Then They Were Machines) was really good.

Let's see. Other than that, there's just been a lot of World of Warcraft playing. I spent a good few hours last night trying to get a special fishing pole and after all of my hard work, I still don't have it... I'll get it someday though.

That's about it update wise. Now for the comments:

Desbreko:
I originally bought the manga more or less at random and really enjoyed it. At some point, while looking for something else, I happened to find the anime online though recently, the hard drive I had it on died so it (along with the rest of my anime) is gone for the time being...

As for Ah! My Goddess, I really liked the TV series. I didn't mind the pace at all but I never have seen the OAV so that could be part of it.

One-day:
It seems that many haven't heard of that book. However, having now read it, I would recommend it. It was actually really good. Ironically though, I didn't agree with a single thing I ended up writing about in that paper. The stance I took was just easier to write about than the one I actually agreed with and seeing as the paper was already late and the professor gave me extra time, I didn't want to push it.

Good to know you're well read though. I'll keep you in mind next time I have a paper to write (which will be soon, though I'm not sure if you will have read this one either) ^_^

Oh, and I did see your last comment and added you to Skype. Now, it's just a matter of catching you online.

PhoneixClawth:
That's weird about the inability to comment for a while but obviously, that has been fixed.

As I've already stated, Plum is awesome and I will pretend that you never said what you did about her.

As for the paper, I'm not particularly proud of it at all. Probably one of the worst I've written actually but I figure it will be good enough for a B so I guess I'm okay. He doesn't count the first one as much as the later ones anyway.

And that's it for tonight. Thanks for reading and have a great night/day!

Hey everyone. There's not too much to report today seeing that I was off. I spent a good portion of the day trying to think of a topic for a short paper that's due tomorrow. It's a response paper which requires a thesis statement but the problem is, I can't think of anything to argue in this story. The book is Yvain: The Knight of the Lion which is by a French poet from the Middle Ages. If anyone has read it and feels like donating a debatable topic from the first five thousand or so lines, it would be greatly appreciated.

Other than that, there's not really much to say so I'll go straight to responding to my comment:

Mimmi:
Hehe, well it struck last year - I've only recently started playing again.

I loved the Chobits manga but I haven't had a chance to watch the anime yet. I had it downloaded but the hard drive it was sitting on has since decided to die.

I didn't mind that whole possession thing in the end. That demon possessed a few different people in the course of that battle and personally, I feel like it would have been too short if it didn't get to Keiichi. Plus, Belldandy wouldn't have had a reason to hold back if that didn't happen. (Spoilered, just in case.) However, that's just my opinion on the subject.

Oh, and thanks for continuing to give me something to put in this section ^_^

Well, that's all for tonight. I'm going to continue trying to figure out what to write about. Have a great night/day!

Hey everyone. This is a recent record for me - two days in a row! There's actually not much to report for today. I spent a good portion of the day playing World of Warcraft with my friend. He actually got me into the game a while ago and then stopped playing after his computer died and just recently started again. He made a new character so I've been helping him through the quests so he can catch up to me and another friend.

Incidentally, if you play WoW, you should come join us (yes, I'm greedy like that and I want you all to come to my server ^_^). Here's my info:
Character: Pandion
Race/Class: Human/Paladin
Realm/Realm Type: Dragonmaw/PvP
Faction: Alliance
Current Level: 54

(Red, I'm looking at you specifically with this part of the post...)

After that, I went to another friend's house for a little while where we tried some interesting photo related things which ended up in us making a couple of animated pictures for his MySpace.

The only other thing I can think of that's worth mentioning is that I'm off tomorrow. I had no idea this was going to happen until Thursday but you won't hear any complaints from me.

So, that's really about it in terms of news. Now on to comments (or, should I say, comment):

Mimmi:
*hugs* I do indeed still exist in real life though thanks for your concern ^_^

I have actually acquired lots of new favorites in both anime and manga (well, new relative to what's currently here for some of them) and I really should get to updating them. In the mean time though, I'll list a couple here.

Manga: The only one I've read recently (and actually, for the second time recently) is Chobits. I don't even remember what prompted me to pick this up beyond the fact that I had like $13 on a Barnes and Noble gift card but I ended up really enjoying this series.

Anime:There is a lot to add to this list but most recently is Ah! My Goddess. I watched season one a while back and finally was going to sit down to watch season two when I realized I forgot what had happened. So, over my winter break, I watched both. There's just something about it that I really loved. I'll probably get to adding the rest of them at some point but it's almost 4 AM and I'm tired so I'll leave it off here for now.

Well, that's all for tonight. Have a great night/day!

Hey everyone. I pretty much forgot about this site for a while so I figured I'd do a quick update to let you all know I'm still alive and well.

I started my second semester of college this past week and so far it's been pretty good. Calc 2 seems like it's not going to be too fun though For anyone interested by the way, I'm going to Stevens Institute of Technology.

I feel like I should have an infinite amount of things to say but for some reason, I'm currently at a loss for words so I'll just skip to the (very late) responses to the comments on my last post. I realize many of the answers will have almost no relevance due to the time between the question and now but oh well, here goes anyway:

ShadowLight:
I'm always up for questions and when I started it, I had planned on making this a regular thing but obviously, it's been quite a while since my last post. I do believe I've seen you online a couple times since then though so at least I've had a chance to talk to you somewhat recently.

PhoenixClawth:
AP exams do indeed suck but they're something you'll have to get used to. They'll eventually be over and done with and more schools are making them a less important part of admission now anyway.

As for the summer program, as I'm sure you've figured out, I didn't and won't be doing it again. Those things are kind of a one shot deal and that was my last summer before college anyway so there would be no reason (in addition to the fact that I wouldn't be eligible) to do it again.

Hisui:
The definitely go out of their way to make those tests harder than average so while I didn't take any of the ones you mentioned, I know exactly what you mean.

Actually, when you commented (5/31/07), I was still in school. My high school didn't let out until pretty late (June 21 I believe it was).

At the time, I was working at Staples as a Technician but that job pretty much ended with school. Over the summer, I also worked in New York City doing Quality Assurance (essentially, testing and looking through websites we made for clients before they saw them) and because of this, there were no travel plans.

Mimmi:
Hehe, it really wasn't a stupid question. Just a case of bad (or good, depending on how you look at it) timing. No harm done.

One-day:
I indeed did get your message here. I added you to Skype though having just learned of your schedule, I won't be surprised if I don't catch you on it immediately. I do hope to get a chance to talk to you soon though - it's been a while.

Well, that's it for now. And for the record, I'm always open to questions and plan to respond to comments in every post from this point forward. I'm also going to attempt to start using this site again. I know I've said this before but every time here randomly, I realize how much I missed you guys so I do intend to really try this time.

So, have a great night/day and with any luck, I'll see you all around here soon!

Hey everyone. First of all, happy Mother's Day! Not much has really been going on lately. This past week, I did take both my AP Computer Science and Calculus tests which were not fun. Tomorrow's my AP Physics test which will likely prove annoying as well.

Besides school, my time has been mainly taken up by work. There's really not much of interest to report on that end either. It's a lot of standing around, talking to people, and occasionally doing some computer work.

Anyway, since I don't have much else to say tonight, I'll go ahead and comment on some comments.

Mimmi:
As to your first question, you could not have asked at a more confusing time. It's a very, very long story but to make it simple, yes I am currently still single though not for lack of effort. I don't particularly feel like posting the rest for now so I'll leave it at that.

I'll see what I can do about pictures. The only foreseeable problem is that they are very big files and I'm not sure where to put them yet. I'll figure it out though.

And thanks ^_^

shizuka:
Thanks, on both accounts! I had originally applied last year but that was at a different store than the one I got hired at.

Greece is about 10 hours by plane and we spent 9 days there.

red tigress:
Well be jealous no more. The interview got pushed back for the worst possible reason - the company is moving from Times Square to Union Square. I hate them for this (though not enough to not take the job if I get it). On the upside though, while it is an internship and therefore unpaid, the person who set it up said there's potential for a small stipend (he said around $500 per week) so that could be good.

And thank you as well =)

Hisui:
Of course I remember you! I've been pretty decent, barring the allergies. How about you?

Thanks on all accounts! With the delays in the interview, I've got my fingers crossed for things to go well too ^^

It's too bad you couldn't go. Hopefully, the opportunity will come up again because it's definitely worth the trip.

PhoenixClawth:
No, I'm fairly certain I'm relatively alive, no matter how I'm feeling otherwise.

Well, that's it for tonight. Have a great night/day!

Edit: May 23 at 7:00 PM
I know this edit is a little late and I'll include this in my next post as well but just know that questions are always welcome. I'll be making it a habit to respond to comments from the last post so if you have anything to ask, go ahead ^_^

Hey everyone. It's been quite a while, hasn't it? I feel horrible about just sort of leaving. I never intended to leave completely. I just haven't been active.

So yeah, a lot has gone on but I guess I'll cover the important stuff. First, for those who don't know, I got accepted to Stevens Institute of Technology. Next, I got a job as an In-Store Technician at Staples. I also have an interview on the 26th with a company called Edelman Interactive where, if all goes well, I'll be doing Web Development right in Times Square. Let's see. I went to Greece in February and we recently (a couple of weeks ago) performed Fiddler on the Roof at school.

I think that covers the most prominent stuff. If there's anything more you'd like to know, ask. It will give me something to talk about next post since I really can't think of anything else to say now.

So on that note, I'll end this by saying I'm sorry to those who I have not returned guestbook entries to. It's nothing personal, I just haven't been here. So, thanks for reading, it's good to be back, and have a great day!

Hey everyone. I'm not dead! I know it's been quite a while since I posted or really did anything at all here but as usual, I've been extremely busy. I won't bore you with months worth of nothingness but I will share the main time-consuming event of recent.

As many of you know, I've been the Stage Manager for all of my school's productions since my freshman year. Nothing has changed in that regard, hence my lack of activity. We did an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland which we performed in November. I've been told it went well but as usual, I didn't actually get to see it.

Soon after Alice, we went on to start Fiddler on the Roof. I actually just posted the cast list today, which made for an interesting day of people pestering me for it before it went up. It's fun though so I'm not complaining.

The only other thing worth mentioning is related to college. As of last Friday, I am officially a member of the Stevens Institute of Technology Class of 2011. I applied Early Decision and was accepted so I can relax now. And, if any of you happen to be in the Hoboken, NJ area this Fall, feel free to pay me a visit ^_^

Anyway, I really only intended this post to let you all know that I'm still around, albeit inactive (sorry about that!) so I'll stop here. Thanks for reading and have a great night/day!
