National Portfolio day

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while, I have been busy with college applications and artwork. In Sunday I am going to Philadelphia National portfolio day where artist get feedback on their art by professors and well known critiques. This will be my first time going there and I have been told by many colleges and students it is very stressful and nerve racking.

Rules:
You have to be on time, unless you are out of state and you have to come early such as myself. Also you have to dress up because no professor will take an artist serious if you are dress casual. [yet, Andy Warhol dressed junky in his presentation @__@… ] No cartoony artwork because any disciplined artist can do anything out of proportion, which leads to the professor to see if you’re skilled at doing the proper human antimony. Obviously, no crumpled artwork. It does not look proficient into the views eyes

Some of the critiques are blunt [which I frankly don’t mind because I want an honest answer], others “sugar coat” their words so the person does not feel as unpleasant to say the least. At the same time I am looking forward to it because it is a serious event and I get to be around people interested in art as much as I am. HA so bohemian xD I have a lot of unfinished work I need to finish, I am such an procrastinator.
