   Full Metal Panda?

I'm updating!

I am sure you have all noticed the change in the layout. I decided to add some color since the black and white was so stark and sterile. As you all know I have been on a major Full Metal Alchemist kick as of late so I decided to go with a Xiao Mei theme. The background is made up of a collage of scans from the manga and the color scheme to match Mei Chen's outfit. Full Metal Alchemist and Pandas...the only thing better is my Sanzo/Panda theme! Kyu! (That is the happy noise Xiao Mei makes.)

I am still not feeling well. I have missed so much stuff from being sick. My best friend Karyn and her husband welcomed their happy, healthy baby boy into this world and I missed the birth. My mom's birthday celebration was moved to my house so I could still celebrate with the family. Normally we take the one celebrating the birthday out to eat where ever they want. But since I was sick we just had a get together here at my house. I haven't been well enough to even chat on the phone so I have a million and one phone calls to return. Not to mention the PMs and emails that have piled up on me. If you have tried to contact me and haven't heard back yet, no worries, I am going to try to get to that ASAP. The reason for my poor health I am sure is 1) The increase dosage of my chemotherapy injections. 2) The nasty thunderstormy weather. (The change in pressure hurts my joints.) 3) Still recovering from AX! Speaking of which....

Panda and Vic Mignogna

Needless to say you all remember my interview with Vic at the beginning of the year. If not, go read it now! I spied him across the dealer's room at AX and he posed for a picture with me. I really wish I could have caught up with Colleen Clinkenbeard who does the voices of Rose Thomas and Riza Hawkeye. I will one of these days. I swear, I never have enough time in the day at AX, there is waaaaay too many things I want to do and they all seem to be at the same time so something has to slide. One thing that sorta took over my entire weekend was making sure Dan Woren (who I also interviewed and I am SURE you have all read that interview already!) made it to all the appearances he was scheduled for at AX and Robocon 20. Busy, busy, busy! I wish I could clone myself so I could have gone to all the things at AX I wanted to attend!

It's Al!

I guess that is about it for now. Oh! I did get my prize for winning that fan art contest. I will take a picture of my winnings and post them in my blog tomorrow. I was really surprised when it showed up since I couldn't remember what the prize was. It was the much needed FMA fix I needed since I have been going stir crazy waiting for the next FMA manga to be released. I was like a giddy little fan girl opening the boxes the stuff came in. I think John thought I lost my mind. >_<;;

Oh well. I love you all and better get to work catching up on all the stuff I am so far behind on. Take care and hope everyone is in much better health than I have been in lately. Take it easy and remember that I am thinking about you even though I may not post everyday on your blogs. ::huggles::

Random parting question: If you could meet anyone in the anime industry...artist, director, voice actor... who would you want to meet?
