   Hehehe
First meeting today for the animanga group. Ooo I do hope everyone turns up. I brought just about all of my manga, and four of my animes. Grr, Rebecca the Small can't come, and Sarah A isn't going. Dammit. Oh well, Rebecca can come next week, she says - it's because she's got exams this week, which is pretty fair I reckon. I don't think Sarah A will come at all.

Well me, Sarah and Matty went into Bangor Grammer boys school, simply for the heck of it. We got a tour from Matty, and we left our mark on the white board, with the doodling - Sarah A's being the best, naturally.

Well Charlie was texting me for a while yesterday. Lol. He gets Monday's off, every single week!! Well, really! And I was all like "I have to go to class. You wouldn't understand!" Lol. He's cool, that there Charlie one. He's a bit put out that his gf keeps texting some guy called Chris - no he's not called Carl - but I don't think he's got much to worry about there. Lol. I sort of like Charlie - I have for ages, but it won't come to anything. Lol. That would be mean.

Well anyway. I got Model 2, and it is fabulous. I drew Micheal, but I think it is rubbish so I may or may not destroy it - perhaps locking it away in a time capsule will be sufficient, so that none may look upon it until well after I am dead and obscured by the dirt. I'm going to get Model 3 next, but that's only if ParaKiss 5 isn't in Replay by then. NOOOO, REPLAY WAS CLOSED YESTERDAY AND ME AND SARAH A WERE PLANNING TO PLAY GUITAR FREAKS AND NOW I'VE SPENT MY MONEY ON SANDWICHES I PROBABLY WON'T EAT SO WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT, YOU SILLY GARETH YOU, WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS!!!!!!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!

Ahem.

Well on the plus side she gave me some money to help me buy chips. Lol.

Life sucks. I feel really depressed lately, even if I seem quite smily. I'm really tired and I had this urge to walk out of my English test - I didn't, and mark my words I've made a complete fool of myself. MOst of my subjects are going pear shaped again - I thought I had them sorted, but I obviously don't. But *I* made the decision to stay in school, so there's no point in pulling out now.

   Nooo
I've forgotten my password for bebo, and now I am sad.
Replay was closed today, so I am sad. I had money to play on guitar freaks, and then I saw it and it was shut and I was all like "D'oh, that's right they close on a monday." And I am sad.

On the plus side, it is Sarah A's b-day pretty soon. So that's going to be sooooo much fun. We're seeing Casino Royale, and all that jazz.

Laura's party was pretty cool. HEr mum surprised her with a limo, and it was sooo cool. I've never been in a limo before!!!!

Well yeah.

Damn I still like that there guy I shouldn't like. Damn it!

   Hehe
ROLL ON NEXT SUMMER WITH CHIARA AND JENNY, HELL YES!!!!!!!!!

Okay.

So in the library me and various other librarians have to do different countries at Christmas times, for the little ones. And me and my partner are doing...da da da daaaah - NIPPON! JAPAN!! Lol. I would get a kimono if I could - but we all know how expensive they are. Lol. Mmm, maybe I should cosplay?? What you think? Or maybe I could get cheap rip offs of kimono on Amazon, like eastern style dresses. Hmmm. I'll ask Chiara. She got a really pretty red one, but I won't ask to borrow it because:

a. it won't fit; and
b. red is SOOOOO not my colour, lol.

Well anyway. And ideas about what to do will be really great.

Soooo I've decided to go doujinshi. That's right. I miss art so much. So I'm going to get an art pad and draw and draw and draw until I get something that's part good, and then enter the Rising Stars of Manga competition with my friends. Eve and Sarah are partly in on the act too, and they are AMAZING artists, so things are good. Chiara and campy-boy are also going to help - we're the three original three in this project.

OH, and I'm soo excited about the manga club. Right, these are the anime's I have:
1.Otogi Zoshi
2.FLCL
3.Hellsing
4.Trigun
5. Studio Ghibli Collection
6. Howl's Moving Castle (which was a smash hit last year with the group, ah thank you)

I think I'll start them watching Otogi Zoshi, and see how they like it. After that, maybe...Trigun??

And my mangas. I don't know which to bring. Hmm. I know that the three that are in the library are massively popular - they're very rarely on the shelves for more than a day. They are: Alichino (beautiful), DN Angel (heheh) and Fruits Basket. I'll have to ask which ones the people are finding the most popular, purely out of interest...

Does anyone else like Guru Guru Pon-chan??

Priest is excellent. Very dark, very bloody - but I like it. And now I hear that Gerard Butler is going to be in the movie version!!! T T CAn my life get any better??? Lol. Well it can, but that's not for your eyes to read about.

   Lol
Okay. So I lied: there is no TV show. The plan was that I would keep up the ruse until 9.00am April First, at which point I would post something along these lines:

BROUHAHA YOU GULLIBLE FOOLS!

But I can't be bothered to keep up the ruse. But thanks for your kind words of praise. Lol. But that's not to say that me and Sarah don't have a GREAT idea for a show. Am I right or am I left, Sarah?? In it Sarah DOES play Ireland - and, somewhat more bizarrely, Russia. And there IS a character called Braddy Threadbare - we have yet to draw him, but he is there.

That would be cool though: having some sort of surreal cartoon show. Lol. Who's with me???

I'm not a fantatist...

   Nope
Okay so we had our breaktime meeting today and can I just say that WE ARE DAMNED POPULAR!!!! It's like they've all been waiting for something like this for ages and now it's there for them to access, lots of manga lots of anime...
A girl whose surname begins with S borrowed The Rising Stars of Manga UK and Ireland, Julie the Cool borrowed Bizenghast and Sarah has borrowed Arcana.

Yeah I got Priest from Replay yesterday. But it was annoying: Muse was playing and then just after bloody BUSTED came on and I was all like "Oh this is awful" blah blah blah, and what did G do??? He turned Busted up to full volume and made me angry. Ah well, at least he didn't sneak up on me or surprise me...because I have some funny ideas regarding this issue...

On the plus side, Replay now has a cool new game machine. They sold the Simpsons pinball one and got a Guitar Freaks one, which rocks. Matty and Sarah A were playing it, and they sucked - but it was all in the best possible taste. I'm going to try it sometime, and fail alone. Then Kyle (he doesn't know me, but I know HIM lol, and he's HOT) came in and tried it, but they also sucked. It's sort of like a dance mat principle. There are three buttons on the guitar thing and you have to press the right one whenever the screen indicated it. Lol. It's good. I paid for Matty and Sarah, so it kept the kiddies happy. Lol.

Then Gareth turned off the lights while Kyle and his bunch played...hmmm. Something funny this way comes.

Grrrr. I like Gareth. He's cool.

   Lol
Well I'm really into My Chemical Romance right now..."Helena" is my favourite, and "Black Parade" comes a close second...but that's only because I've only seen two videos and got one CD...Lol. Gerard is a cool name, and two of my favourite people are called by this name...Gerard Butler...Gerard Way...lol.

I was wondering...do you think that a writer - not a major one - would mind me hanging around them for work experience? I was thinking about it, because I do intend to write and write and write. I don't want to do journalism all my life, I want to write a novel. Hmm. I'll have to find out.

Well I'm getting my new manga today. You guys I don't think I'll get Loveless though...

HAHA THE ANIMANGA GROUP IS HAVING A MINI MEETING TOMORROW!! FINALLY SHE LIVES!!!!! Lol. I'm bringing a bunch of manga with me. Hopefully Julie the Cool will find out from all the posters. It was just a snap on my part: I wanted to get something done. Lalalalala.

I might enter this writing competition I've found online...hmm. What do you guys think?

Well hello I wonder if it's possible to type an entire message in the title bar. So here I am in the library really bored, and I don't have much to tell you apart from stuff like: I visited the building where the Northern Ireland parliament will be held
Nah it cuts you off at a certain point...it lets you keep typing, but then deletes most of it on the main post. Ah well.

So I was in Stormont. We quizzed MLA's: DUP, UUP, SDLP and Allience. Allience was the best in my opinion. THe guy wasn't a leader, but he was charming enough without show, and answered the questions well enough for a politician. The UUP was all show and jokes, but little substance. Plus they attacked the DUP too much. Sinn Fein didn't make an appearance, only this little woman that trotted along near the end in what appeared to be a dressing gown tailored to make a jacket... The SDLP was BORING: good ideas with a poor, mumbling sort of "I'm half asleep, you woke me up from a debate" type of presentation. The DUP attacked Sinn Fein too much.

The DUP guy didn't answer ANY of the questions put to him. THe UUP had lots to joke about concerning education, which didn't leave time for much else: that sound like a strategy? The SDLP had good things to say, but people were worn out simply trying to concentrate on his words. ALlience was the best, I say.

Anyhoo. YOUR LIVES ARE GOOD!

You're gonna find when you grow up that big bird isn't funny (FUNNY FUNNY) UWHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Well anyway. So I watched the French film today in QFT and it was pretty good. Everyone else was saying that it sucked, but I wouldn't mind getting it on DVD if I ever saw it (unlikely, but you never know). It was this young couple, and their baby - Jimmy (who was played by about 40,000 babies, I'm serious). So he gets wind of this illegal operation, babies being sold to people who want children without the paperwork. So he sells Jimmy. He lies to the people saying that he and his girlfriend have both agreed, and so on. When she (Sonia) gets back, she's all like "Where's the child?" and he bluntly says "I sold him." which made the audience titter. Anyway so she faints. Twice in quick succession and has to go to hospital. Bruno (the dad) really does love Sonia so he sets out to get the child back. He does, and returns all the money he received - but they want double that from him, so he steals an old lady's handbag and he and his accomplice go through this elaborate set up to get away, involving a twelve year old getting hypothermia. Anyway. He goes to jail in the end, and his girlfriend (who until now didn't speak to him for pretty obvious reasons) comes to see him. It's a redemption basically, because he handed himself in. It ends with them both crying, hanging on to each others faces (literally, it's not a metaphor as you might think). I liked it, to be honest. It's just that Bruno when he was crying appeared to age about fifty years...he was supposed to be twenty, or thereabouts.

There was an introduction by a French speaker, and I understood it all by myself!! As well as bits in the film. I know know two ways of saying "it's finished" and also "Shut up", which is useful.

On Wednesdays we watch other French films. Like "A Very Long Engagement" (the film is equally as bloody long). I found out that the French title is "Un Long Dimanche de Fiancailles" (I think I spelt that last word wrong). "Les Choristes" was also really good - the music was great. I'd like that on DVD, I think. And "Les Cheveliers du Ciel" was good, although it was a bit poserish. "Mon Pére Ce Hero" was wierd - Gerard Depardieu was in it. Sarah once asked me who I'd like to go out with better, Gerard Depardieu or Ewan McGregor and I was all like "Well out of THAT paring, probably McGregor." Turns out my foolish friend mean Gerard Butler, who I would choose over McGregor.

Hehehe Chiara was kind enough to order "Dracula 2001" for me from Amazon. THANK YOU CHIAWA!!!! So I'm going to go shopping for presents tomorrow and pay her when I see her. Heheh. I like that movie: admittedly it's not the best vampire film I've seen - that was "The Lost Boys" - but I like it. Anyone else like it????

I saw a really melodramatic version of Dracula. They got all the names mixed up. In the books Lucy was killed, and she was Lucy Westenra. Mina was the one Dracula chose, wasn't it? And she was Mina Murray, NOT Mina Van Helsing. Well in this film it was Mina VAN HELSING that got killed off in place of Lucy, and Lucy that got picked out by Dracula. Although the Van Helsing connection worked, even if it was Mina, because Laurence Olivier was superb in it. Well I liked it, Frank Lagella as Dracula. Like I said, it was really melodramatic, but it was good anyway.

I think it was that version my mum and her friend were watching when they were teenagers, getting scared, when the doorbell rang and they flew upstairs...

Okay. Anyone seen Marie Antoinette? What's it like???

If anyone comes to Belfast ever in their life, go to QFT because it's a good little place. It's not a standerd cinema: it's part of the Queen's University complex, but you don't have to be a student to go. Foreign films are on show there all the time, and so on. There's a bar as well, for a pre show drink. Lol. Although I didn't get any today, coz I'm only a likle student.

There was such a hot guy there (sorry Chiara) with long hair and a good French accent, but I didn't get to speak to him...>_>
