Lol
I will never ever be an events organiser. I'll tell you right now. Lol. My birthday is tomorrow and it's all unorganised, and such like. Lol. No idea what time we're going at, or how people or going home. To be honest I don't really care.

Well at least Laurence is going.

I hope.

Lol. Right, well, Bill Nighy is going to strip soon, so I'd better say everything I want to.

Awwww. Sarah has learnt the words for the Oogie Boogie song, lol. Lol. She's sitting, while the rest of the class watches Love Actually, mouthing away the words to her hearts content. Lol.

Lol. Chiara lent me Model 5, and JAE AND MICHEAL GET IT ON???? Lol. It's really wierd, because Micheal looks so much like a woman, and Jae is most certainly very womanly...and my friend was confused. Lol. But I love Michael. After a while you get used to the way he looks and you discover that he's seriously attractive. Lol. Lol.

I LOVE Welcome to the Black Parade, it makes me smile.

I also love the following people to bits:
1. Chiara
2. Jack Skellington
3. Charlie
4. Laurence
5. Gareth (gotten over the crush though)
6. Sarah
7. Alucard
8. Ororon
9. Bill Nighy
10. Jonathon Rhys Meyers
11. Jenny
12. Tim Burton
13. Burn Gormen
14. Stephen Fry
15. Dylan Moran
16. Bill Bailey
17. Michael

To be added to later...Bill Nighy is stripping

   Lol
Well tomorrow is the last day of this term until the fourth of January, at which point I intend to fully commit myself to cyanide.

The day after tomorrow is my seventeenth birthday, so I expect many happy birthday's from you kind web people. Lol. I'm going to invite Laurence to it, and Chiara is going to help me. Lol. Because I'm just a shy housemaid, y'see. Lol. Just kidding. I'm really more of a lady man-servant. Lol.

Well I'm going bowling in the Odyssey, either that or watching a nice film. I would sort of like to see Pan's Labyrinth, but Becky doesn't want to see it, so I might see The Prestige instead. Anyone else seen these films??? Are they good?

   Yawn
Well it's a dreary Monday morning. Oh no, t'is not JUST a dreary morning - it's done Irish style. That means there's alcohol instead of rain. Giant swirls of tobacco fumes instead of clouds.
Nah, I'm not being mean.

But it is one of those mornings where everything is grey, or a very piercing white. You know, when the sun's just a flat disc in the sky, not giving any warmth, but over-compensating in the light department. It's that really cold light you only seem to get in the morning.

Well it's my birthday in 10 days. GO ME, because I rock. Lol. Well the guy I like got back with his girlfriend in a really bizarre turn of events. She turned to me and said, "Oh yes, I've sent my flute off to get fixed...and I got back together with Charlie" and I'm all like "q-wuh? what about the other dude?" But apparantly she's more like a best friend to this other guy. Ah well. Bang go my dreams.

Anyway.

So I'm sitting here in key skills vomiting my way through this task we've been given. Honest to the Almighty God, I prefer reading books than staring at a flat, blaring screen. It's a pity computers are so big - they didn't see me coming. I'll accidentally start a chain reaction and destroy them all. MUWAHHAHAHAHAHAHA...ha.

Has anyone read Hogfather? Lol. By Terry Pratchett. If you have, are you going to watch the televised version of it?? To be honest, the concept is going to be utterly brilliant, but the costumes are dire. Death looks rubbish, in my opinion. Ah well. Maybe it was a poor publicity picture.

Currently reading: Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett. Hoho. I'm really in a Pratchett thing these days. Hah. I'm a Pratt. Lol. Anyhoo. I know what mum got my for my birthday - Terry Pratchett books. I know which ones too. Lol. Carpe Jugulum in one, The Truth is another...annnnd. Darwin's...something or other??

SEE YA.

   Yawn
Grr Trigun has gone missing, because Julie the Cool didn't tell me who she lent it to before she went off home. Yeah. No problem you freaks, just take my stuff and go. I don't fricking care, no.

Anyway. Hellsing OVA is coming out...today, or is it tomorrow? Anyway, it's going to rock. Some people I know have already got it, so now I'm going to get Chiara to scour the web so I know how much to save up. Lol.

Well my birthday is coming up soon. Lol. Big 1-7, which will rock, meaning that I can FINALLY start learning how to drive, lol. That'll be cool. Lol. Unfortunately the market is stopping like 2 days before my birthday party, so that sucks. Lol. So it's just going to be bowling, and then I guess Chiara can stay over if she wants. Lol. LOL THANK YOU CHIARA FOR PARADISE KISS 5 BECAUSE IT IS AWESOME AND I CAN LEND IT TO YOU IF WE MEET UP ON THURSDAY BECAUSE YOU WILL REALLY REALLY LIKE IT. Lol it's really sad though, because it is. Lol. It's the last one, people! Be sad with me. Lol. Mmm, Arashi. Actually, a new dimension of Arashi is revealed...and that's all I'll say in case Chiara decides to read this. Lol. But its sooo good.

The Gormenghast Trilogy is fricking amazing also. The edition I have has Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Steerpike on the front, and he is hot hot hot. Apparantly the people who write Gormenghast fanfiction are obsessed with the character of Steerpike, and I really don't blame them. Aside from the guy who played him being awesomely hot, the character is cold and calculating, meaning that I really love him. I'm supposed to love Titus, supposedly, but I always go for the "wrong" ones, like Allen when I'm supposed to love Von. Lol.

I'll tell you what else is awesome, purely from a visual point of view. Cat Soup.

And the next manga I'll get is....you decide:
1. I luv Hallowe'en
2. Life 2
3. Priest 2
4. Model 3
5. None of these, get Voices of a Distant Star instead.

   Lol
Well I had a chat with Charlie today, and despite my friend being his ex-girlfriend and hence coming to my party, he says he'll be okay to come too. Lol. I'm so happy. ((me kind of lurve him))

I'm going to have to visit Laurence and borrow the other Priest manga's from him. Y'see I also quite fancy this guy. Ah yes, the perils of my love life. Ah well. He's a nice guy, and I must lend him Hellsing some time because he'll love it.

   Lol
Well we had another meeting for the anime group yesterday. It was fun. We've decided to run a competition: original works of manga. Or for those who say that they can't draw - original scenes of anime (which will be SOOO much fun). We haven't settled on a good amount of time: too long to accomplish something and they'll leave it to the last minute, and obviously too short a time will be disasterous.

Well here I am learning about politics for yet another test that I'll fail tomorrow. Yawn. Actually, I didn't do too badly in my other one: 10 out of 14, so yeah. Lol. But she's averaging out all the scores throughout the last couple of months. Put it this way - on one test I got a pathetic ONE out of seventeen.

Well, well, there it is.

The sky is pretty today.

Verily.

Ummm. Well I lent out pretty much all the manga that I'm prepared to:
Model
Arcana (yeuch)
Guru Guru Pon-chan (which is soooo popular)
Priest
Sampler 2004
Bizenghast (Julie STILL has this, and she complains about how Chiara still has Inuyasha..lol. I love them really)
RSOM UK and Ireland
Demon Diary
....and more. I've got a list of people who've taken this out though, so it's cool.

And my anime:
Cat Soup
Otogi Zoshi (Gorgeous, as Julie agrees)
Trigun (Nooooooo! need it back!)
Studio Ghibli collection

And there are two shy girls there, who I put in a group with the two Rebeccas (or rather, Poppy and Integra as they are to be henceforth known as). But I reckon they'll show us a thing or two, because it's usually the quiet ones that are the most interesting, right? Lol.

   Hi
Lol it's my friends 16th birthday today, so everyone post "Happy Birthday Deppling" if you want to make her happy. It would be advisable to make her smile, as she has a big cake with her. So yeah. There it is.

"Brave New Worlds" is fantastic: it's gross, but it's a good story. I'd advise you to read it if you can.

Do you know what was a letdown? Peter Pan and the Starcatchers. It's meant to be the prequel to J.M. Barrie's novel, but it's no good. Don't get me wrong, it's not rubbish, but it's by two guys without ANY experience of children's literature. Barrie's novel was deliberaely bizarre enough to get kids interested, an escape from reality - against the Huxleyan idea that anyone other than Alpha's and Beta's reading is detrimental to productivity. It's too logical, it's only got little bits and pieces that will make kids laugh - like the fact that Black Stache's secret weapon is The Ladies: sails fashioned like a giant brassiere. It's a poor addition to the Peter Pan legacy. I haven't read Peter Pan in Scarlet yet - has anyone else? Is it any good?

I REALLY love the Gormenghast Trilogy. Anyone else agree with me?

   Lol
Well I just got "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley out from the school library. Apparantly it's right up there with "1984" - which I read, and which was super scary.

Okay, so the deadline for devolutiion in Northern Ireland has been stalled...and it doesn't suprise anyone. The idea was orginally that there was going to be a hardline approach: if they hadn't reached an agreement by last Friday, the wages of the MLA's would cease, and Stormont would be shut down. But no. The deadline is now March.

The political situation in this place is diabolical. It's all about the policing, people.

MOre later, have to go to class now.

   Lol
I'm super ill today. It's sort of embarressing, but REALLY painful - but I can't stay off school, because I've got a test today. It'd seem really cowardly. Besides, it's not like I can't deal with discomfort: people go through worse, right?

Well I was talking to G yesterday about...mad cats and dogs. Apprantly he has a super mad cat called Salem (hehe) and he got hyper one time on icing sugar, and didn't JUST climb the walls, he built them, plastered and wallpapered them first and THEN climbed them. Oh yes.

And Eric Idle was Ratty in the Wind and the Willows. Poor G was scared of him when he was little. I've never seen it, but I guess I would be too.

Terry Gilliam's Brazil is super terrifying.

And I have a thing for ice cream at subzero temperatures.

Laurence offered to lend me Priest - this is great! I think Laurence is hot - he's the paper guy, lol. I know where he lives now, lol. ^_^

   Grrr
Just did a stupid politics test, and I've screwed up in it miserably because I couldn't remember the terms of the Good Friday agreement. This sucks, you guys: I tried really hard to revise that test because I NEED to do well here, and the ONE thing I leave out is on the fucking thing.
Top that off, I missed House Assembly and they took the role, and now yours truly is in trouble because I wasn't there, I was off getting notes from my locker so that I could revise FOR FUCKING POLITICS. The one time they actually decide to take the role and I'm not there: I'm there EVERY other week and do they take the role then? NO.

I DO NOT NEED THIS.

Add to that my feelings of inadequacy over yesterdays meeting. I felt so INFERIOR because I'm not a particularly memorable or likable person, and Julie the Cool was taking over, because she's better than I am, and in the end I just said "screw it". Julie's cool, so I didn't mind, I just felt super-stupid and embarresed and half way through I just wanted to leave. TO LEAVE.

This is unbeleivable. I'm ill to top it all off, so this sucks, you guys. I shouldn't have come back to school at all.
