RESULTS OUT TOMORROW!

I was invited out to town by my friends today, but I don't really feel like going out today - I'm in a mopey, sort of depressed state of mind.

Morbo is a perv.... T_T

I've lost my library card, so I can't get any books out. Ah well, I'll just read the one I got on contemporary American fiction - the first story in that anthology really freaked me out.

I got a book by Peter Ustinov, who is my most favourite famous person in the history of time. He was a raconteur - he did EVERYTHING. Sang, acted, wrote books, did stand up....wow. He was so funny. He's dead now, sadly. He was in the Disney version of Robin Hood - the one with all the animals - and it's my favourite! He did the voice for Prince John, and it always makes me laugh.

Alucard may have been a girl in the manga prequel to Hellsing. He says something like "It matters very little to me what form I take" and the Major refers to Alucard as "she", "her" and so forth. "Cute little girl" and whatnot. At least, it does in the translation I'm reading.

Hello
You know those old pulp magazines folks used to get in abundance? I know there are some still going, but most have fizzled out, right? Well, if I ever get to this stage, I want to open a new form. People can send in their works for serialisation publication, one off etc...even in manga form. I think it would be so cool! It's probably a bad idea, but it's one I'm sort of cherishing fairly discreetly in my heart at the moment.

I was at Assisi animal sanctuary this morning: they were having a fair type of thing. I got a ton of books and a video for 2.70. Amazing, right? I know, I know. I also got a 1930's ring at a stall for £2 which isn't too shabby at all. I'm wearing it right now - red imitation ruby with gilt embellishments. Haha. Lol.

I've written the first draft for a story: it's short story, and I think it's pretty good. Sure, it needs fine tuning: tweaks here and there and so on. I'm not sure of the gender of the narrator yet. Hmm. Possibly male. Hmm. Who looks like Christian Bale when he was in All The Little Animals (or a movie with a similar title....)

Ahahahahahahahaha.

^_^

I got a book by Sophie Kinsella who did the Shopaholic series (thank you for getting my into that Chiara!): this one isn't actually in that series, but it's pretty good anyway. Haha. What's it called...? Ah yes, An Undomestic Goddess.

OHMIGAWRSH I FOUND A HELLSING OVA TRAILER WHICH IS RAMPACKED FULL OF FEEL GOOD HORROR AND GORE HAHAHAHAHAHAHA AND ALUCARD LOOKS SO HOT AND VIOLENT AND GENERALLY SADISTIC THAT I CANNAE WAIT UNTIL THE DAY THAT HE RISES FROM HIS JAPANESE PERCH AND JOINS THE LEGIONS OF THE ENGLISH SPEAKING AHAHAHAHAHAHAH

The end.
Toodles for now, ghouls, over and out.

Yo
I got a book by Terry Pratchett from the Library - Night Watch. I think it's great! Haha.

I haven't got much of a purpose today. With £2.50 in my pocket, I won't get very far. I'm in the mood to see a movie, but not in the mood to see one alone. Don't get me wrong, I can sit in a movie theatre happily by myself - I'm just not in the mood today. I feel like getting a icecream, though, so maybe I'll do that. Lol. I love icecream. I even drew a picture on my bebo page in honour of this illustrious gastronomic cousin of weight gain. I'm getting pizza later on too! Wow; if I weren't so bored, things are pretty sweet. Lol.
I have a notebook in my bag. I suppose I could do some writing. But I don't feel inspired.

Oh my, there is a guy in the corner shop who is actually quite attractive, hehe. I was in there yesterday, chatting away.

Morbo, when do you go on MSN??????

My eyesight may be deteriorating - as in I may need glasses. Haha, I could pick a novelty pair of Elton John-esque glasses and claim discrimination when I'm told to take them off.

So Tony Blair is on holiday while the country is in the midst of a terror scare. Hmmm. I guess high alert helps to keep the beaches clear in whateverland. Right, that's it. I wanna be PM: vote for Emma as PM, and I swear I'll stand down before allowing myself to fall into any scandal which follows a politician around like the plague.
In this new age, I guess an online vote would count for something...only I know half of you guys are American, so this time around if I felt like being serious and stupid I couldn't do much. But just think...it could happen to someone, somewhere. Stranger things have taken place.

Hello again
I'm BAAAAAAAAAAACK.

I have really gotten back to my roots. By that I mean my reading roots - some of the first ever novels I ever read were fantasy, and I've found a whole bunch of them in my house that I never knew I had. Oh how could I have left these things behind?
I once tried to start my own fantasy epic - I've still got a whole section on my computer dedicated to the construction of this fantasy land; histories, legends...you name it. The problem was...I was thirteen. The writing was juvenile, and the characters were pretty flat cardboard cutouts of big fat cliches. But I held on to it, no matter how cringeworthy - and I've started again. Hehe. Hoho. I've started again. Now I've found my style, and now I know sort of where I'm going.
All the characters are going to be rewritten, and there are going to be some changes made to the landscape - I EVEN MADE A MAP AT THE TIME! Lol.
Elves feature in it: or at least, the idea of what elves are. Under a different name. Elves, as a word, is so overused. But how and ever. Lol

I'm reading stuff in the Shannara storyline, and Riftwar, and by Tolkien. Oh how happy am I to be back where I belong in between two worlds. Haha.

Anyone else reading fantasy novels out there?? Shout outs and bully for you.

YO!
Well, I watched Don Juan DeMarco and yes it is fricking excellent! I liked the bit where one of his girls asks him to tell her truthfully how many lovers he's ever had. "Including you...there have been...exactly....one....thousand and fifty two." Lol. I cracked up. Lol. The hispanic accent made me melt as well. Lol.

Well, I'm in town. Yeah. Like I ever do anything else. I'm babysitting my sister until half four, and then dad is taking the family out for dinner at the diner. Lol.

Well, I'm going to call into the manga shop - Replay - and see what I can get for a tenner. Haha.

Hope you all lead wonderful lives.

Hello
Well I spent a pretty good day in town today with my friend. Lol. They are boyfriend and girlfriend so there was a lot of smoochy stuff going on with them, but it was alright.

I was daring today: going on in heels. I mean fricking killer, able to castrate a guy, HEELS. I wore em with a little turquoise mini skirt (which wasn't too mini) and some black over the knee socks. The shoes were grey, so I thought they looked pretty good. And I wore a simple black t-shirt. And I was getting looks from loads of guys: that's never happened to me before. It felt wierd, to be honest.

Ah well. We all went to Pizza Hut and ate lots of pie. Haha, got you there - we all ate pizza, otherwise they would call it Pie Hut. Hmm Pie Hut. Sounds like a breeding ground for the obese. Nah that's just cruel.

Well towards the end of the day out, my feet were nearly falling off - so low and behold, CT picks me up and carries me neatly over the road. Haha. It was fun. I love those guys.

Well, the guy was back in the shop - you know, the one that I like - and he had his hat on, which makes him look about ten years younger than I suspect he actually is...so I was all like "aaaah." Haha.

I got a movie in the shop called Don Juan DeMarco. I hear it's a good movie - and it was only 99p, so I thought what the hell? Anyone else seen it, is it good?

   I'm back from Scotland!
Yo everyone, hope you liked the videos - call them a parting gift. I guess.

I got back on Saturday. The complex in Scotland was alright - a little kiddie orientated, I guess, but there was a town nearby called Ayr which was brilliant. I'd quite like to go back there one day. ^_^.

I did my archery. I was pretty good too; but only because I was the oldest one there. The dude arranged a competition and I got called up against a little boy - like a toddler - and I tried to deliberately lose. I mean, what kind of person would actually want to win against someone who barely knows what he's doing? Ah well. I enjoyed it anyway. There was two hot guys watching. Haha.

I got a French newspaper today - Le Monde, which I'm working my way through. Surprisingly, I can actually pick out quite a few things from it! I'm so happy with myself now ^_^.

I've been babysitting. We went into the manga shop - couldn't resist - and my two kiddies (well, not MINE as such) were completely hyper. C's purse went missing, and my sister was the one who hid it. They played pinball twice; and weren't very good which got them down, but I told them they just need to practice. Lol. One of the guys who works in the shop was nice about it - I sorta like him, but he's a bit older than me and besides, he's got a gal lol. I like other people a lot more anyway....

Haha.

Toodles for now, chaps. Over and out.
