I'm really, really pissed off right now...and I hate it...and I hate them the most...sorry but as of now, I'm typing a very, very angry post...these words couldn't even express half of my anger...I just want to tell you all of these because I don't think there's someone here that could relate with me other that all of you...if you don't want to be bothered by my petty problems, it's okay...at least posting it here could relieve me...well, here goes...
First of all, I'm asking you these questions...am I that bad in webpage designing? Or making graphics with Photoshop? Are my works that bad that they're not even worth of somebody's attention or comment? I know that I can't expect everyone to take a look at them...it's hard to please everyone...
Okay, I'll use this as an example. Back when I was starting in MyO, I visited my friends' sites and I was really glad that they returned the favor and just like what Elves said, friendships will start to blossom. I'm really having fun with all of you guys. You're all so nice to me...I'm very thankful for that. And I'm trying my best for that friendship to last even if my schedule doesn't permit me to.
In the case with this forum, (I won't reveal anything about it other than I post my layouts here) I realized that most of them are somewhat selfish. Then again, I'm not expecting them to return the favor. But can't they just take a look? It won't hurt them because the layout's screenshot is right in front of you when you open my thread. And there's this contest...on my part, it's a bit unfair because some of the qualifiers for the second round are moderators and mods=professional webpage designers=their works are super great. Amateur webpage designers like me are no match for them and amateur=still not that good=aspiring to do better.
Not only are they selfish but also offensive. In my first submission, I used a theme featuring Juubei and Kadsuki of the GetBackers and the color that I think is suitable for the theme is a somewhat between brown and yellow. They were saying that it hurts their eyes followed with numerous exclamation points (!). It really offended me...and one even said that it's colored poo. And he/she even used the Filipino term for poo, which is much more offensive.
Then I submitted another entry and it's now dark metallic blue featuring Aya Brea of Parasite Eve. After so many days, when I checked back again, no one even took a glimpse or even noticed the changes.
Feeling that Aya isn't a very popular character among Filipinos, I changed it to FF7:AC with the thought that it's more popular.
I don't want to make more judgments about them but I noticed that they could also post tutorials. And some are just "modified" versions of the original ones that I've seen on some tutorial sites.
However, I'm still thankful that the main site of that forum (it's just a support-forum, btw) is very useful. I salute him.
Even if there are some points in this forum where I could get really pissed off, some people are still nice, if not selfish. If someone from the forum sees this, I could get killed or even hunted down (I'm using the same username) so I'm going to stop now.
To those who have reached the end of my post, I'm really, really thankful because you've gone under the trouble of reading such a painfully long post.
