Do You Want the Red Mint or the Green Mint?

What a great weekend it as been.

We didn't get to have a picnic on Friday due to rain, but we did manage to hang out with people. Tak had some friends in, so I spent a lot of time with them. They bought a bunch of cupcakes with a military theme and a tank on top (that turned out to be a transformer ^_^). We played the Soviet theme and surprised Angelo, and it was great.

Saturday was cool. No ADA, but a bunch of us still went to Chef Wang's. Then a quick trip to Rhino. Afterwards, I hung out in Tak's room all day. We watched Laputa: Castle in the Sky on Cartoon Network, which was cool. Some people went to karaoke, but I chose to stay with Tak's group. We then proceeded to O'Charlie's for food. Grabbed a bunch or mints and toothpics on the way out. We returned and found the April Fool's Day version of FMA on, complete with flatunence. Then, Howl's so Tak's friends could watch, but I fell asleep during it since I had seen it already and was really tired. Then, off to bed.

Sunday was cool too. We had a picnic before the rain, and it was rather nice. I rather like having picnics under the cherry blossoms. Tak had his bokkens and some of us fought. It was fun. Rain came, so we went inside I hung out in Cupcake's room, playing Animal Crossing while Seihn played Disgaea and Cupcake later played Harvest Moon. I got back around midnight and went to sleep.

That's my fairly fun weekend. I realize that most of the names I used aren't real names, which is actually cool since that's actually what I usually call most people. Groups of friends like mine are so much fun, especially with all these nicknames that we use more than our real names. I really like the fact that people call me Niko in the real world. It's like s representation or a symbol of how I've changed since high school or even since freshman year.

Well, that's all for now. It's Monday, a new week. MTAC volunteer meeting to look forward to this weekend. I guess that's pretty much it for now. Have a nice day and have fun commenting.

Club Safe and Happy = Me Happy

I have gotten really lazy in my blogging. I mainly type one post, usually in Xanga or LJ, and then copy and paste it into all my other blogs. Such is what I am doing tonight below this paragraph. I know I've fallen behind on commenting on sites. I'll try to work on that. Just had a busy week. Enjoy the post.

***

Ah, Thursday night/Friday morning. Well, on Wednesday night, the Anime Club met, and some campus officials were there to explain things. We're safe. I'm so happy. We just had really bad miscommunication, but that shall be taken care of tomorrow (Friday). We might or might not get rooms for an All Day Anime Day, but quite frankly, I'm just relieved that we still have a club.

I know people are all hyped up on their KH2 fix, but I don't have a PS2, so too bad for me I guess. However, I have gotten to play some Metroid Prime Hunters for the DS. Single player is ok. Not near as adventure/exploring stuff as the other Prime games, but it's still fun. The main draw is the multiplayer, and it succeeds. I suck at FPS games, but I still had fun with this one. I died a lot, which is discouraging, but then I found the sniper beam, and then it was really fun, until other people found the beam too. The zoom on it is weird, but it's still fun to use. Great game.

It does suck being single, especially when I know quite a few couples. I would like someone to hold and hold me and all that. Oh well. I rather like seeing friends wanting to help me find a girlfriend. A good chunk of the relationship thread on our club forums seems to be dedicated to me. I like having all these friends on campus. The only thing I don't like is that I don't get to hang out with some people or some groups as much as others, but it doesn't seem like anyone in the club is at a loss of friends, so everyone gets to hang out with people. Some of the people are even going out together. It's amazing how this club has brought so many people together to know and be friends with one another. I really like that. My members seem happy, and I like to see my members happy.

I would kinda like to shower and sleep soon. I'll probably skip my class on Friday just to sleep in. I guess that's all for now. Have fun commenting and have a nice night.

I want sleep

It's now Wednesday. This is the day we where the future of the club may be decided. I hope all goes well.

In other news, Kingdom Hearts II came out today. Now, onto something that affects me. I'd like to play KH2, of even finish KH1 for that matter. It would be useful to own a PS2 to do all that though. Still, I saw the trailer for the Zelda DS game, Phantom Hourglass. It's cel shaded, just like Wind Waker, and the gameplay seems like Four Swords. It looks really fun. That, with Twilight Princess and the Revolution, is proof that Nintendo is going to own a lot of my money and a small bit of my soul come next New Years. Small price to pay though.

In other news, there really isn't other news. I guess that's all. Have a nice day and have fun commenting.

As the Climax Approaches...

Well, this week is the week we'll find out the future of the club once and for all. Sounds all very climatic. I'm actually kinda hopeful and excited. I honestly think a good talking with the student affairs people will straighten out plenty of issues, but I'll wait and see.

As for the weekend, mostly boring. I updated my myspace a lot for some reason. Princess Mononoke was on Toonami, and it wasn't edited much at all. Very good job. Besides, it's a Miyazaki movie, so of course it's good. Watched a bit of Mai Otome, so I've seen all the way through episode 22. Also saw an ep of Mushishi, which is good too. I also got to sleep plenty and just be lazy. Sometimes it's good to take some time off just to veg out.

Well, I have an 8am class tomorrow that I'm looking forward to sleeping in, so I should get going. Everyone have a good week and have fun commenting.

Ahh! Guestbook signatures I have to catch up on. I will...eventually.

Well, my day was good. My Experiences of Lit class was so fun since we went over Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. In Japanese, I so pwned that lesson test, and I ended up not bombing the test from the other day. Anthropology dismissed early, so all three of my classes were great.

Friday, just one class, some service work, and maybe a meeting with some people in student affairs. Otherwise, pretty slow day I hope. I now got downloads done so I can watch them tomorrow, so yay. I guess that's all. Have a nice night.

Ok, Not That Bad.

Ok, well, the club seems safe for now. It was really just some stupid complaint from a teacher that's in the class before our club. I guess we're noisy and she didn't like it when we asked her not to shut the door when she leaves because we get locked out. It's not a real big problem. It just seems that someone kinda blew it out of proportion. You see, this club has bad communication through the campus. It goes through so many people before even reaching us in the committee who run the club. That, we do need to work on.

In other news, not much. Got a big test tomorrow I'm kinda worrying about. Also could use some more sleep. That won't really happen until maybe Satruday night though. So much stuff in the head. Well, I guess that's all for now. Have fun commenting, and have a nice night.

   Arg!

Ok, last night, we learned some issues that the campus has with our club, things that must be straightened out. Unfortunately, the safest action we had was to shut down the club temporarily so we can talk through these issues with the campus.

Basically, I had a crappy night. Tonight, when I should be having fun at the meeting, I'll be at the cyber cafe explaining to people why we aren't meeting. Fun times ahead, I'm sure. That's all for now.

Oh, and I now realize that the survey says to put it in your journal so I can say what I like about you. I'll just say it here. You all are pretty nice and interesting and friendly and have good tastes in anime. It seems people like me because I'm easy going and laid back. I guess I am about a few things. Well, thanks. Everyone have a great day.

Party + ADA = Tired Niko

The last two days have really been eventful.

Friday, I skipped my first class to sleep late. Most of the day was boring, until around 6:00 when I was getting ready for the White Day party. We lost the room due to campus double booking. Still, in true college student style, we scrablmed at the last minute and found a place to have a pretty good party. There was food, music, talking, and actual dancing. I actually danced! That is shocking. I loved the party. It went from about 8ish to about 1ish. So freaken fun. We really need to do another.

Saturday, is was an All-Day-Anime day. I stayed in the viewing room more today, watching some anime and a couple of live action Japanese movies. Then, we ended things around 7 or 8. A few of us hung out in Tak's room, mostly gaming and so forth. I started to fall asleep, and actually did fall asleep, so I decided to call it a night. I left, and now I'm here posting.

Well, it's late, and I'm really tired. Good night, and have fun commenting.

   St Patty's Day

Ok, I had a paper due Thursday. Just a 1000-word paper, not long, but it took a while to decide what to do it on. Technically, the paper is due by 5am this morning, before my teacher gets up to check his email. It's past 2am now, and I just sent it in. Finished three hours before it was due. Wrote on epiphanies found in the movie Groundhog Day. I hope it goes over well.

One helpful thing in my procrastination was my friends wanting to watch Howl's Moving Castle that I bought last Saturday. I had yet to watch it as well, so I agreed. Well, I loved it. It got kinda confusing and random towards the end, but it was really cool. The dub is pretty good too. Christain Bale was Howl. Yeah, Batman was Howl. I really liked Howl and Turnip, the scarecrow.

Tonight is the White Day party, being held on St Patrick's Day. Fun. I'm screwed if I don't find some green clothing though. *runs from pinching people*

Well, that's all for this post. Talk to you all later. Bye.
