"We're comin' in full throttle, that oughta keep those fighters off our backs..."
I haven't posted it a while! Sorry, everyone! Anyways...
Star Wars Unit!
Days 2-3
Ahhhh, have I ever told you how much I love these movies? *Grins with satisfaction* Well, I'll say it again: Yes, I am a Star Wars freak. End of story.
We took many detailed notes on more mythology-based aspects of the movie. Twas quite fun, because we managed to turn the conversation, once again, over to 'Why the most recent Star Wars films are awful.' We also held a contest to see who could say: "I will not let my people die" most like Natalie Portman, haha.
We also got to watch the mistakes, which were hilarious. My two favorites were:
1. A Storm Trooper hitting his head on the low celing as he enters a room.
2. Luke accidentally calling Leia "Carrie" (her real name, for non-geeks) at the end of the movie.
Stupidest comments of the day:
1. "What's the relationship between Luke and Leia?"
2. "Don't they call the fans of these movies Trekkies?"
3. "*Whenever someone dies* HAHAAHHAHAA! He die!"
4. Some I can't even put down, because everyone on this board might want to bomb my school.
We finished 'A New Hope' today! Wahoo!
The rest of my week consisted of good Chem grades, random jokes about the word 'nub', a society of perfect children, the only time in my life I'll get to hear the phrase 'Mr. Love Sponge', and much, much more.
And now I'm packing for a weekend trip to Orlando! It's a friend's Sweet 16. I will be back on Sunday night. I miss all my chat buddies: Molly, Tigress, Shanny, Danny, Aurus, and SG, I will be sure to get online when I get home in the hopes that you'll be there! Thank you for the commments on my poetry, Dagger and Mimmi, they were much appreciated.
