   Hmmmmmm...
Today is the two year anniversary from when I moved into this house, and December 27th was the anniversary of moving away from New Hampshire. I wish I'd forgotten about it (like I do most other things), because thinking about it makes me all serious and reflective, two things I don't like to be unless completely necessary. Plus I don't really want to remember how exhausting and painful it was.

So I won't think about it for now! Well, it's hard to concentrate on that when my back hurts SO much! Owwwwwwww! Must have slept on it wrong... can I have a massage please? Someone? Anyone?

On a lighter note, I now have 600 visits! Thank you everyone, you guys seriously rock!

Well, I'm off to take the tree down, then I'm going to Sam Goody for some anime buying! Yaaay!

   *Smiles shyly*
So how do you guys like it? A very technologically advanced friend helped me out majorly... so a thanks is in order for him! Thank youuuuuuu ^__^!

Anyways, I like it, I think it's rather spiffy. What do you guys think? Give me opinions, my children!

Well, today is my brother's 17th birthday, so I'll be giving him his present now. Real post later!

By the way, the shoutbox is still here. There's a button right under the guestbook that makes it pop up. See?

   "Why do you build me up (build me up), buttercup baby, just to let me down (let me down) and mess me around...
.... and worst of all (worst of all) you never call baby, when you say you will (say you will) but I love you still! I need you (I need you) more than anyone baby, you know that I have from the staaaaaaaaart..."

*Looks around* Huh? Oh, sorry, it's been stuck in my head.

Anywho, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Or as my 5 year old cousin said in my Christmas card, "Happee Nu Yeer!" So cute... *melts*

Anyways, 2004 has been pretty damn good so far. I went to see the fireworks downtown last night, and I didn't hear any crying children, barking dogs, or incoherant catcalls from the drunks! Is that a good sign, or what?

Well, since I have nothing much interesting to post today, I'll do something completely off the cuff and random! Enjoy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
10 Reasons Why You Should All Love Bollywood:
1. Because it's the only film industry that can make the life of Asoka, a somewhat evil Buddhist king in the Mauryan dynasty, into a musical.
2. Because it can introduce a character with a crazy name like 'Bhuvan' (pronounced Boo-vahn) with a vaguely moose-like appearance and a turban, and all the girls will still be in love with him. Try that with an American moose-like guy.
3. Because you, for once, will actually pay attention to one thing for 4 hours straight (other than LotR extended version, Tigress ~_^)
4. Because they can burst into song at a pin drop, and for that matter, they often do.
5. Because the aforementioned songs are embarassingly catchy, and you'll end up downloading the soundtrack and learning all those crazy Hindi words. "Ghananan ghananan ghananan ghananan..."
6. Because they can run into a room in one outfit and run out in another in only 10 seconds. That's an accomplishment.
7. Because it contains some of the most random dance moves you've ever seen, and the moves are both rhythmic and spastic at the same time.
8. Because no matter what the movie is about, there's always a random love story. If the movie is about Indian villagers, there's a love story. If the movie is about a plague, there's a love story. You understand.
9. Because in no other movie will the characters respond to, "I love you," with, "I don't speak English."
10. Because in the end, all the loose ends are tied up at the same time, whether logically or not. Everybody is happy but the token English character, who either dies in the movie, or goes back to his/her own country to die alone and unloved.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Random enough for ya, kids? Well, I'm off into the sunset. Hope the first day of 2004 was great for ya!

"...so fill me up (fill me up) buttercup, don't break my heaaaaaaaaaart!"

   *Pant, pant, pant*
I just visited the page of just about EVERYBODY on my buddy list to wish them happy holidays. And it's left me with the vague feeling that I've just run some sort of marathon. *Pants some more, then falls over*

And if I forgot your page, well, HAPPY NEW YEARS ANYWAY! *Universal Glomp (trademark)*

My ideal mate is Aragorn!

Who is your Ideal Lord of the Rings (male) Mate?
brought to you by Quizilla

Ohhhhhhh baby, you bet he is. I always end up with him, whether I try or not ^_^.

So here's some New Years Resolutions of mine!

----------------------

1. Excersise. You can't sit on your ass and eat Chex Mix forever.

2. Take your schoolwork more seriously. It's too stressful to put everything off until the last minute, then put no effort into it. You're lucky most of the time, but you're not always going to be.

3. Visit everyone's site more often. Like today.

4. Get out there and get some acting jobs. Go to the open call for the agency, like you said you would in November.

5. Do NOT let your life be controlled by love. You've been fine thus far without a boyfriend, so don't feel like you absolutely NEED to get one. Be picky about it ^__^

6. Go to church more often.

7. Make everyone happy, whether they like it or not. That means you, myOtaku!

---------------------

Well, that's it from me for this year. Have a safe and happy New Year, my good friends, and have a blessed (you heard me right, BLESSED) 2004! Love you all! *Glomps everyone again, unless they don't like it, so I give them candy*

   I need a shrink, or a dream psychologist at the very least...
WARNING: This is not a very coherant post. It is just a little collection of rambling. Shanny, it's all your fault, heh heh.

As of late, I am having the weirdest dreams. And coming from the High Mistress of Crazy Dreams, that's saying something, heh heh. But the thing is, none of them follow any kind of rational pattern whatsoever. I mean, most people I talk to dream about their crushes or something they want to see happen, or something they're really afraid of.

I can honestly say I have never dreamt about my crush, and my dreams are rarely happy. In fact, they are usually very ominous and dark, or if not, just very abstract. And my dreams never cover just one thing in particular; there are many different parts to it where completely unrelated things happen.

But lately, they just seem to be getting a lot more vivid. For instance, last night, in one part of the dream, I was in a room with lots of spiders. I haven't dreamt about spiders since I was 3. Other than that, a lot of the themes are the same throughout, even if they seem unrelated. I wish I had a dream psychologist on hand, or at least knew what some of these things are supposed to represent.

But until then, actually, these give me lots of good ideas for my writing. This whole thing probably comes from having a hyperactive imagination.

So anyways, I'm boring everyone. What's the oddest dream you've ever had, if you can remember it?

   Merry Christmas, everyone
Hello! Well, tommorow's Christmas. Wow. Where the hell did that come from, huh? I was in church today, and it hit me when Father Greg was talking about the Nativity. It was so crazy.

Speaking of church, I've never been around so many crying kids in my life. Make them stop.

Oh yeah, I saw the creepiest Christmas joke today. Since you all have nothing better to do, I'll share it with you:
-----------
The Lost Ending Of Charles Dickens: A Christmas Carol

The joy was infectious as Ebeneezer Scrooge and all the Cratchits gathered around the table to eat their goose.

"My goodness," laughed Scrooge as he took a bite, "this turkey is bigger than Tim!" Everyone laughed happily.

"Come to think of it, where is Tim?" asked Bob Cratchit. "Wait, who's that by the fire?"

"Oh, that's the goose!" replied Mrs. Cratchit. Bob looked puzzled.

"So where's Tim?"
-------

Eeeek, I told you it was creepy. If I had a nickel for every time a literary legend got eaten like poultry...

Anyways, I'm off. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night. Love you guys!

   500 visits!
Thanks everybody! And for those of you who have 800+ visits, yes, 500 is good, and it's a big deal for me.

So anyway, remember the story I was going to show people who want to edit it, but was too shy? Well, I think I got gutsy. I posted it on Fictionpress.com

http://www.fictionpress.com/read.php?storyid=1478846

There's the link if you still want to edit it. The class assignment was to try and write an original story about a black sheep of the family. So I wrote this! If you read it, be sure to give me some feedback, suggestions, blah blah blah.

Anyways, two days until Christmas! WOW! When did this happen? *Shrug* All my shopping is done, so now I'm just relaxing, waiting for the Chex Party Mix to hurry up and cook... tis all good, comrades. Except I'm hungry and that Party Mix smells so good... Worcershire Sauce... yummy...

I think I'll jump on Tigress' quote bandwagon as well! Everyone else is doing it! *Peer pressure*

"When the last vampire is extinct, who will mourn our passing? Will she? Will anyone? Can anyone understand this pain, this loneliness?"

Yeah, for some people, this one is easy. Farewell, children!

   Return of the King rocks!
This post is dedicated entirely to the object of my obsession since December 1999: LOTR. (EDIT: That's when I first read The Hobbit and so on. I don't just have my years messed up.)

Return of the King was BRILLIANT! JUST BRILLIANT! I don't want to give any spoilers, but go see it! See it now! Heh, Tigress' enthusiasm about Denethor's fate is catching, lol. BURN, BURN, BURN!

OK, that was too much fun. Now here's some links and stuff all my fellow LOTR fans can play with. Copy and paste the URL's, as the links don't seem to be working. Damn you, technology.

Legolas is my fancy!
What's your fancy? Click here and tell the world!

Well, it's obvious I'm having waaaaaaay too much fun with the banners. Here's where you can get more:

http://my.raex.com/~bbenedet/perian/perianmeleth.html

Remember that 'Very Secret Diaries of the Fellowship' thing I posted a long time ago? I'll just post it again in case you missed it:

http://home.nyu.edu/~amw243/diaries/

Here's the ROtK thread on the OB. Go and discuss, my pretties.

http://www.otakuboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34396

And everyone should take the quiz I posted last week! It's on DP and Tigress' pages, too. Most of you have taken it already. Good for you!

So, everyone, how did you like the movie? And if you have any more good LOTR links, please share.

   OH the HUMANITY!
I was supposed to go see LOTR today, but my brilliant friend bought the tickets for the wrong day. So I'm going tommorow. But for a hardcore LOTR fan, 24 hours is ETERNITY! WAAAAAH!

But enough of my whining. I thought you .hack//SIGN fans might enjoy hearing about my complete stupidity when it comes to the show. I was watching it with my friend Josh, and well, here's what happened.

Josh: So how do you say it? Just, "Hack sign"?
Me: No, I think it's "Hack dot sign." No, wait, it's "Dot hack sign"
Josh: "Hack dot sign?"
Me: No, it's "Hack dot sign." No wait, I mean "dot hack sign."
Josh: Are you sure it's not "Hack sign dot?"
Me: Positive! It's "Hack dot sign!" No, that's not what I meant! "Dot hack sign! Dot hack sign!"
Josh: This is why I watch things like Trigun. Easier to say.

Hehe, I have a million more convos like this a day. When it comes to anime, you can just say the stupidest things. Oh, that gives me a poll idea:

What's the stupidest mistake you've ever made while watching an anime? (If another example, here's a good one: I thought that Hitomi from Escaflowne was a guy at first. Then they showed her in the schoolgirl outfit... o.O)

Oh yeah, and about my story: I'm still not sure that I want to post it in such a public place. Like I said, I'm shy about my work ^_^
