Hmm. Well hey there, everybody.

So... it seems I have one of these MyOtaku thingies. I suppose I ought to update it once in a while, ne?

Er, actually, I really doubt this site is going to be around for much longer. I really have neither the time nor the inclination to blog... about... nothing. Anymore.

Alas, please do not expect many updates.

I might find a use for this site, so I'll be leaving it up, at least for the moment.

On Cobblestones

*waves* Hey, everybody.

I'm still listening to Bu Dui Ye Yao Ai. ^^ However, I thought I'd put up this pretty tune from Rurouni Kenshin.

I thought it might be prudent to mention to y'all... I'm going to be gone for three weeks, as of tomorrow! @_@ I just realized yesterday that I hadn't even mentioned this trip on MyO. I'll be leaving early tomorrow morning, so this'll be my last post / appearance for a while. ( Hence the music: "Departure" ) I'm sorry I won't be able to comment, as my computer is staying comfortably in Arizona. XD I'm really excited for my trip, though -- I'm going to Ireland! My dad was born and raised in Dublin, and all his family [save one sister] still lives there. Every two or three years my family stays with my gran [my dad's mom] for a few weeks in the summer. ^^ I love it there! Everything is so green and beautiful and rain is just about a daily thing. I love the rain so very much. Plus, the temperature is nice and chilly! My favorite! I enjoy getting away from the dry brown heat that surrounds me. I enjoy it VERY MUCH. >.<

I'm also especially excited for this trip because we have layover in New York, and my parents have elected to stay for four days in New York City. WHICH IS SO AWESOME! I've never been to New York City before and I'm really thrilled to be going. The city! I really should hate cities for concrete, pollution, and population, but I'm somehow drawn to the atmosphere. I've been to both Chicago and Dublin and I love them both. Actually, Dublin is even more amazing; there are cobbled streets and performers of all sorts at the corners. It's such a wonderful place. I really hope it hasn't changed for the worse while I've been at home.

I needn't say more, and I must go anyway. Fare thee well! ^_^ See y'all in a few weeks.

Can I ask you for your address? I want to send you one too! Maybe my mommy got your postcard and didn't tell me... I shall ask her. nn. Did you like the pwetty Chinese song? It's my new favoritefull. ^.^

I didn't have any other comments on my last post, which was probably because all I did was reply to comments. However, if you want to read the reply to your comment, click here! There's also a very awesome song you can hear. ^_^

G'morning, everyone. ^_^ I have another song for you today.

I love this song so completely. It's beautiful! I downloaded it from an mp3 rotation from maintained by my buddy Munky. As usual with these kinds of things, I suppose I really ought to delete it after a day or two, but... I don't want to... *whimper*

I suppose I'll have to buy the album anyway to listen to their other songs, so no worries, then. I just may cheat and keep the song until I have the money / parental approval. *shifty eyes* ... so evil. @.<

Anyway, I forgot to reply again yesterday XP so, I am revoking my ranting ( and apparently titling ) rights for this post and making it an... *dun da-dun*... UBER-REPLY. ^_^ Just one thing first: a link to the ( truly awesome ) mp3 rotation of Munky-chan.

Happy Oranges aka DBCN

Visit! ( I tell you! O.o )

Munkers:: @.@ yesh, Borders is most shiny ( and has lots more manga usually ), but Barnes & Noble is a more comfortable haven for dusty ol' soul. ^_^ ( Although, when at all possible I prefer huge-mungo ancient libraries. ) ( The only libraries around here are the crap-tastic state libraries with about 200 books. >.< ) ( Though I hear the one WAY downtown is pretty nice, I must go in sometime. ^^ ) Anywaysh... neenerways... =D NINK! Yay! I feel so... NINKY. Heh heh heh. 'Tis my new magical alter-ego. Thank-Q~! Yesh, I methinks people usually take me for older than I am... <.< even if they actually meet me, 'cause I'm tall [though I still think I look pretty young]. I guess I am... somewhat mature for my age. XD Though if pressed I can act like a two-year-old. Yesh! And, I stopped by your xanga... I must say, 'tis -- as said on "It's A Tree" -- supa, supa. Erm... =.= never mind that. You do a really nifty job with it! I especially like all the explination you add... 'tis quite helpful! ^^ And I liked almost all of the songs, too. Oh, by the way, I read the first volume of The Wallflower. It was... er... kind of stupid. XP Sunako ( sp? ) was pretty cool, though. The art was kind of cute, but also pretty crappy / lazy in places ( i.e. backgrounds, etc. ) Meh, it's not really my kind of series... I think 'tis too shojo-y and kind of boring for me... sorry~! *bites lip* I may or may not read the second volume, just to see if Sunako starts to open up x.x that was another thing, through the whole volume, I vash like, "OH COME ON! STOP FEELING SO FNARKING SORRY FOR YESELF!" but that's just me. XD Glad to hear high school is so mucho more fun... XD oh, functions... I get to learn those IN DEPTH next year. O.@ Well... bye *blows kiss* Love from Nink! ^_~

Elvesie:: I am noodles indeed. *noddle arms* Yesh. XD And yesh, har har, I fit into all kinds of things. ... What's that you say? Pointless busy work?? Nu! Okie, that makes this even more of a challenge. *squares off* YOU WON'T BEAT ME HIGH SCHOOL! NEVA! PREPARE TO MEET YOUR MAKER... right after summer vacation. =.= Heh heh, no art history for me... I don't have room for it in my schedule! O.o though I actually find art history... very interesting.... um... heh. ^^ Bleh meat. Glad you like that prittiful song. ^_^ It's a new favorite of mine. ( So's the one on this page, o'course! ) Thankies... I SHALL enjoy the book. I mean... I DID enjoy the book. ( I already read it XD ) Welps... bye! ^_^

Luna-chan:: I didn't say, "Help me on my final". I said, "SAVE ME from my final!" Bleh. I was in a not-fun place. ^_^ 'Tis okie... only CHEATSHEET MAN could have saved me then. Unfortunately, he did not. >.< Ah well. I got a B. ^^ ( ... I missed my bus though. O.O ) Ha ha, ha ha... nun laugh. Ha. Welps, I won't write lots since you're in DISNEYWORLD ( =D hope you're having fun!! ) and probably won't read this... but Chi lurves you! ^_^ Bye!

Riku-Heart:: I add a dash ( er -- that's "hyphen" ) for no apparent reason. @_@ OMIGORSH YE'RE IN IB! ... oh ib. Um er, but, that's SO COOL! ... me too! You already know that. =_= But, yesh, freshmen at my school are also technically "Pre-IB" ... so we don't officially start until junior year either. Oh! My sister's a freshman too.... and I'll be next year, obviously. XD. Glad ye like the layout! WOWZ you're gonna be in SPAIN?? That's SO UBER COOL! I really want to do foreign exchange! There are so many places in the world I want to see. ^_^ I was planning on perhaps doing it my sophomore year, but my mom... says "We'll see." ( She says I can't afford to miss my junior or senior year [and she's right] and that sophomore year I will be too young to go away. ) And that's my mom for ya. I think I won't be going. *tear* BUT -- I have hope! ^^ There is supposedly some sort of "Student Ambassador" programme ( I beleive with People to People ) that involves traveling ( possibly even to Japan! ) during the summer! So I can't wait to find out about that ( I'm gonna meet with a counselor next year ) and see if I can apply! Hopefully I'd still be able to take summer classes. ^^ Oh school. ... Volleyball is fun. ( I suck but I always laugh so much during games with my friends... something funny always happens! XD ) Ersh, that's all, I suppose... bye and take care! ^.^

EP-chan:: *pats* 'Tis okay you missed by birthday! ^_^ You didn't really, though... O.o ye were only like a day away. XD Glad ye like the new layout! And you're super-duper welcome! ^_^ I sadly have never tried the instant buckety ramen thingies... though I have had some deliciouso Cup Noodles... YUM... but anyway, I had the brick thingies that ye gots to boil. ^^ Still super yummy! Chocolate rocks! Sorry you have none! Hmm... I guess I made everyone hungry as I was getting full. @.@ hee hee! Thankies so much for the comments... I guess that goes for everyone... but Chi is most glad you like your layout. ^_^ Vwell... bye!

Em Yeu Anh:: Hey! Thanks a bunch for the signature and comment ^_^. I love hearing form new people! And *laugh* 'tis okay to be a potato... taters are delicious! They go so well with spaghetti! ^_^ Tee-hee! Heh, well, I happen to get out of school earlier than most others in the country... my district starts school in mid-August instead of September, like most of the other ones. ^_^ Glad you like the layout! You might want to visit Magitek Designs... there are some really nifty ones there. That's where EP's is from, and where my last one was from, too. This one is from a site called Limon-Butterfly, but it's small and there aren't many other designs on that site... 'tis really nice too, though. ^_^ Thanks again for stopping by! I'll be sure to visit you're site, too.

Phew! Well, that's all! I did it. =D See ya next time, everybody....

On Watermelons

I cannot get this beautiful song out of my head.

[ >.< ] Brackets are special.

I was just thinking... this layout was supposed to be temporary. I was going to make one to replace it. But, you know, after putting it up I got busy and / or lazy and I just wasn't satisfied with anything I could put together. >.< Long story short, I'm tired of this design and will be putting up... another premade. Maybe. This is what I was thinking, but then I got all edified or something and I thought gee, maybe I can make something with not too many colors. O_O Anyway. I think I may put up one that I made, because I think I managed something that's kind of ... nice-and-simplyfull. I may just put it up for a minute and see if anyone likes it. ^.^

I think I shall put it up, at least for a day or somshing. O.o I found a nifty premade one though, so if mine's too boring I'll change it. =).

I am as fit as a bowl of spaghetti. I must begin my summer exercises. If I'm lucky they may even last through school this time! =D Last year I managed to exercise more or less up until October-Novemberish, but I was doing so less and less and by winter break I had stopped completely. BAD. And now I am the amazing Noodle-Girl. Beware her limp flailing powers. XP

But... Happy Summer to everyone! Or soon-to-be-summer if thou art... *chuckle* still in school.... HAHAHAHAHAHA I laugh. ^_^

Dewa. [check back in a few for the layout change if you wish.]

----------- EDIT --

Layout up. >.< Yesh, as you probably have guessed, this is not my layout. I did try to put mine up, but it uses some text for which alignment was important, and the alignment got nicely screwed up on MO. XD It also screwed up my little scrolling navigation divs, so that didn't work either. *shrug* Ah well. I have another idea for a different div layout, and divs are so easy, so I may or may not change it again soon. ^_^

Anyway! I thought this layout was really nifty. ^_^ It's from a small graphics site called Limon Butterfly. 'Tis really cool, isn't it? ^^ My favorite part is the quote at the top -- it is text instead of part of the image, so I can edit it to whatever stikes my fancy! The only thing I don't like is that when I uploaded the header images onto Photobucket, the background turned all whitish. O.o How did that happen?? It used to be kind of bluish and matched the greenness more.

All in all, I think this design is really fun, but I liked it better before I put it up on MyO. Hmm. It put the comment button under the nav, which looks pretty bad but is more convenient for me, anyway.

I have to reply to comments! Thanks everyone for commenting, I'll reply right after I eat something! ^_^ Much hugs. Hmm... I seem kind of normal again. O.o Something's been off with me lately.

On Kasplosions [of sorts]

'Ello poppets. ^_^

So I didn't go to Barnes & Noble yesterday, alas. I thought surely I'd be able to convince my mother, since it was my birthday and all, and we were not doing anything else at the time, but no. She did, however, promise we would go on Thursday -- which is THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Yay! *is happy*

In other news: I just gobbled down this huge bowl of ramen in just about nothing flat ^^ I was so hungry! I hadn't eaten a thing since about 7 this morning, and... my metabolism is used to more than that. Heh heh. It was one of those days in which I really just didn't want to eat, and then finally the hunger hit me a little before six... jeez, I must be really hungry. I'm still hungry, after eating two packets of ramen. And guess what? THERE'S NO MORE RAMEN. Those were the last two packets... it seems like ages since we've bought ramen. I'm the only one in the house that eats it, so I guess that makes sense... alas.

I'm now eating chocolate. Holy smufferduffer, I am the unhealthiest person in the world. My mother would tell me I need protein... but I don't like meats and there aren't any in the house anyway. Maybe I'll go scramble and egg (or three).

Only thing is I have to do whatever I'm going to do before my dad gets home. He'll think I'm crazy for eating so much and probably yell at me... nng.

Meanwhile, I for some reason have a crapload of assignments for the last few days of school. <.< wha? Very not cool. I haven't touched one of them. My English test is NOT a test ( oh, that would have been just too simple ) but an ESSAY. Ugh. I got almost no work done on it today in class due to being insane. There's another test tomorrow, and I have to finish that essay. I have to write a letter to myself ( ? ) in History class and I'm not allowed to type it ( more ? ). I have to scribble up a couple of paragraphs for science class and I'm still panicking over the second half of my final math exam... though the first part was surprisingly easy. Huh.

That's really not that much, but it feels like a lot right now, when I'm completely ready to be ( FINALLY ) out of middle school. >.< I'm sick of feeling as though I'm doing pointless busywork and not learning anything. Erg. I can't wait 'till high school. I'm going to be in the IB program ( link ), and everyone I know who is in it or has been in it says that it's tough and it is plenty of work, but you learn TONS. I've always learned so quickly and been ahead of many students, so I'm really excited! I don't mind the work at all if I'm filling my brain with knowledge and working toward a future... my goal is to get a full scholarship to a certain out-of-state university. I know that's going to be hard, but 'tis what I really want, and I won't give it up easily. Here's to working my posterior off! ^_^

Yeesh! I wrote lots. My goodness.

My dad's not home yet -- it seems like he's usually back before now. Hmm. I panick so easily, I'm going to start to worry. Don't worry.

I did scramble two eggs and put some ketchup on them, so now I am at last satiated. ^_^ Oh, and by the way, I might mention that I've been addicted to the kitchen lately. You know, I've always enjoyed making food, but of late I've just been cooking and baking up a storm. Not sure why -- but it sure is a tasty hobby! ^^

Meeps, and I almost forgot to mention... my most wonderfullest friend Hiyami got me a present! She gave me this ( awsome ) book called Out. I want to stay up all night reading it. Looks as though I might be staying up all night doing homework, though ( thanks to my procrastination <.< ).

I really think I ought to stop typing now, this is getting so long. Oh, and yay! My daddy's home. ^_^ And it's almost seven now. Hmm... this rant tastes very sane. How funny. Oh, well, I suppose that's all for now... ^^. Oh, but by the way, I'm going to start replying to comments. I feel so bad that I never answer questions and such that folks ask... thanks so much to everyone for commenting! O.O I do so love comments. Bye!

Munky-licious:: ^_^ Chi shall definately check out the series! She looked it up, that she did, and it looks indeed cool... looks like a nice happy read. I read a review on the Anime News Network. ( link ) Chi always likes to check out other's opinions when she hears of a new series, and the ANN ( ha! Like the BBC XD ) always has good thoughtful material. ^_^ 'Tis my favorite. Oh! And yesh... they are siblings... I have a strange fascination with disturbing alternate sexuality. O.o yesh. I am a freak. I know. ^^ Much hearts for forbidden love. And GAH! [ super duper hearts ] RE-GAH! Oh, Vampire Knight. ^^ heh heh. I like it, too, though I've only had a taste or two. Good work to your feets. *pats* Don't slow down just yet. [ super hugs ] ^_^

Urcat:: Oh, indeed. XD heh heh.

Jigglyness:: *sigh* *pets* Well, happy unbirthday to you. ^_^ Yay! A fellow Godchild fan. ( I do so love your Cain button... have I mentioned? XD ) It gets even better in book three. ^^ I really want to read the next two! I haven't been to a bookstore in ages, either. I'm also way behind on Black Cat ( meh other staple series ) and there are a bunch of others I wish to check out as well. O.O Collabness.... I like it. I do. Your graphics rock my sox. ^.^ he he.

RikuHeart:: Believe me, I get the distraction thing.... heh. Always distracted! Tee-hee. And yesh... I watch anime on le internet and sit in B&N to read manga... to save myself from the expensiveness. ( Doesn't always work though! ) ^_^ love.

Luna-chan:: GAH! The Gackt layout! Ye must lend my thy password... I did forget! I shall surely put it up for you. I must remember to ask you tomorrow... I shall. >.O twitchness. Yesh. My bible just vomited up a nun who shall beat you with a ruler. Heh. ^^ Thanks for the well-wishings! Oh... and you don't have to act old. *huggles*

On Discombobulation

Hey everybody... it's my birthday! ^_^

How are y'all? I'm feeling... readery.

I really want to go to Barnes & Noble... mostly because Kaori Yuki has reawakened my love of manga, which has been dormant for the past few months and has only stirred when I poked it with a stick. But now, 'tis alive and roaring! I have to pet it and give it sugar lumps to stop it breathing fire. So I want to read Godchild 4 & 5 super muchly, and I want to gather up all of Angel Sanctuary and finally read more of its wonderfulness. Kaori Yuki is amazing. Ne?

Oh, and by the way... to all ye lovelies who believe I am so skilled with html, I'm sorry to say I must disillusion you. My layout... 'tis... it is... *sniff* a PREMADE... *is shamed* I do try to make my own prittiful layout, I do, but I can never make something I like. Well... I think I'm pretty good with the coding, actually, it's just my graphics are all full of ugly, you see, as all I have for my use is Paint and I suck at it. That is my story. *tear*

I'm actually not that sad, you know. But still, I am not too good with the html.

I'm fourteen today. I'm so young.

That's all I have to day. Happy trails to you, may your feet out-dance the wraiths of misfortune.

Hulloo.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! YAY FOR MY MOMMY! She rocks ^_^ tee-hee!

So, so, so... buttermilk is shockingly disgusting by itself but it makes pancakes very super yummy.

SERIOUSLY though, you pour the buttermilk out and there are LUMPS plopping out of the bottle. It's revolting. And the smell is even worse. BLEAGH!

And don't ever ever taste it.

(Unless it's in pancakes.)

Anyway, I have been meaning to put up my buttons forever! But I didn't! But now I have! So yesh! That link in the navigation that says "Buttons" that has been dead forever... it now takes you to my buttons. Heh. If you feel like linking me on your site, they come with fancy little copy-and-paste boxes for your convenience. ^^

I also added a new link to the navigation, "Buddies", which I also have been meaning to put up forever... my friends' buttons! Visit them! They're awesome! *cheesy grin* And... if you have a button that's not on the page, I'll put it up. And... it you don't have a button but want a button, I'll make one for you and put it up. But LET ME KNOW! Comment! PM! Email! I can do nothing if I know nothing! >.> ... [/rantage].

On Love and Live Covers

G’morning.

(1:02 am.)

I am, as usual, not sleeping. ^^ I’m so happy to have my computer back… without it, my life is without many things that I love… like… Gackt.

^_^

Speaking of love and Gackt. (Yes, I planned that.) I present to you a video I found on youtube: our own beloved Gackt-kun pays tribute to his masterful fellow artist, the late John Lennon. He performs his own versions (with an s!) of the song Love.

Reading through the comments for the video, there was plenty of hate for this performance – and I don’t get it. Sure, especially the second time, you can barely understand what he’s saying, but come on, everyone knows Gackt’s English is, er... heavily accented, and if you listen close you can pick out the words. XD But anyway, I think he did a great job; he took a wonderful song and made it simply Gacktastic. ^^ He’s not John Lennon, and seriously, you can’t compare the two – I just love them both.

Gackt + John Lennon = good music

An unlikely combo… kind of like peanut butter and kiwi. Unexpected but delicious.

^_^

Mkay I’ll shut up so you can watch Gackt’s adorableness! Watch it even if you don’t like Lennon (gasp! heathens! XD kidding, childs), because Gakuto-kun is especially cute in this vid… to me anyway. ^_^

And… holy shish kabob Gackt completely pwns on the guitar! Oh my. He ceaselessly amazes me.

‘kay, now for real… Gackt!

sigh... I love that song. (Oh, and Gackt. I love him too.)

Er, actually, I really doubt this site is going to be around for much longer. I really have neither the time nor the inclination to blog... about... nothing. Anymore.

Alas, please do not expect many updates.

I might find a use for this site, so I'll be leaving it up, at least for the moment.

Wah, yay, five-minute-super-boring-layout. 'Tis blank.

As it should be.

The Return!

Evening, everyone.

Sorry for the EXCESSIVE hiatus… I was banned from the computer for quite some time because I was a bad girl. =( It was returned to me this weekend. =)

I’m pretty tired… but I’m staying up late tonight ‘cause I need to practice my music.

I also need to write stuff for English class… about Animal Farm. Everyone thought that book was boring, but… *shrug* I was interested.

Today I finished (finally) The Amber Spyglass by Phillip Pullman. ‘Tis the third in the His Dark Materials trilogy – definitely a new favorite-favorite of mine. Those were without doubt three of the best books I have ever read. The ending was perfectly crafted: both woefully tragic and infinitely happy.

Reading the series has resulted in two things for me. First, I am a cleverer person. Second, a must read John Milton’s Paradise Lost.

But first I must finish Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray. I started it today. It’s quite good.

By the by, I was reading Time magazine and discovered with some surprise that Kurt Vonnegut is dead. It must have been a week for authors, as Egon Bondy, with whom I was not previously familiar, is also dead. I am now most determinedly resolved to get a hold of one of the latter’s books and read it, even if it is in Czech.

Anyway, I mentioned Mr. Vonnegut’s passing to my sister (who is, by the way, a year older than myself and a freshman in high school) upon reading of it. As I wasn’t certain she would be familiar with his name, I also mentioned his most famous book, as a result of which I present today’s Quote of the Day.

Slaughterhouse-Five – that’s a band, right?”
- My sister… yeesh, my sister.

That’s all.
