NEKO'S UPDATE
Hey guys! *waves* Sorry I haven't updated in practically forever .///. I feel really bad since I've been sort of neglectful towards all my Otaku friends! Well I'm going to try and get on here to update a little more than I am being as I seem to spend most of my time on Deviant. Do not fear though! I am not leaving, the only thing leaving is my artwork. =/ You can still look at it on DA though if you feel so inclined :D
Like the new/old layout? I think most of you have seen this one before, it's just an old layout I decided to re-do and put up! I like it better now and I think it's here to stay since I don't have the energy to make layouts anymore, nor the time! Plus it's only 2 days till school -_-
So how was everyone's Chrismtas and New Years? Did you get everything you wanted? What are your new years resolutions? Here are mine:
1. I am going to write a book. And I am going to get it published! *is determined*
2. I am going to try and help out around the house a little bit more at home. It seems I'm not helping out as much and from spending so much time on the computer my family seems to have become distant. I am going to try and renew my ties with my family, meaning less time on the comp. I know you guys will understand!
3. I am going to work on my original poses and original characters. I don't want to be stuck referencing my whole life but please don't rush me.
Meh that's pretty much it that I can think of. There are a lot of little things I need to improve on that aren't really worth mentioning like I would really like to try and keep my room cleaner and get all of my pokemon on my team up to Lv.100 X3
About that book I mentioned! I bet you all are really excited! ((At least I hope you are XD)) Well as some of you on DA already know, it's going to be about my OC's as well as all the members of the Wild Fangs Clan! I have a plot based and I've finished the prologue already and started on the first chapter. From what I have planned out in my head though I might end up writing two books since I have two major things that I want to happen! I don't think I'm going to post it on here seeing as I want to get it published and all but I think I'll give you a little taste of what it's going to be about. Now this is nothing final, simply a rough draft so please not too much criticism!
Prologue
As her four pups played gleefully outside their cozy den, Hoshi whispered to her mate, Ryoku, also the alpha male of their pack. ¢®¡ÆI¢®¯m worried about them. What if Shaman Yogensha¢®¯s prophecy comes true? Could it be possible that the future of animal kind is held in the paws of our pups!?¢®¡¾
¢®¡ÆDon¢®¯t you worry,¢®¡¾ soothed Ryoku, ¢®¡ÆI¢®¯m sure that old wolf was just making it up. Wolves are one of the strongest races in our kingdom and have a great many years before dying out!¢®¡¾ He laughed scornfully.
Hoshi wasn¢®¯t so sure. Her mind drifted back to when her pups were only kits, and herself and Ryoku had gone to visit the Shaman, as every proud, new wolf parent did. She shivered, remembering what old Yogensha had said.
¢®¡ÆOnly your Soshi Kodoma (translation: Element Children) have the power to save our race from entering a war that could potentially wipe the wolf species out entirely.¢®¡¾
She wondered what he had meant. The wolves were a powerful, yet peaceful race and far from extinction. And who would they possibly go to war with? They had no quarrel with anyone as far as she knew. Hoshi led a peaceful life in her pack as alpha female with a loving mate and four children, as well as many friends.
The pleasant life as she knew it was about to be shattered.
Hehe a little cliffhanger there at the end, what do you guys think? What should I add? Members: do you have any ideas for things you would like to happen in the story? And all YSB members need to send me their character backgrounds pronto!!
Well overall I think o7 was a pretty good year! Arg but the beginning of o8 didn't start out so hott...there is this person who keeps spamming my page on DA and with help I got their first account banned but they made a new one now. It's not so much that it's upsetting, but more that it's a bother *head/desk* Oh well some people just have no lives...
