in response to something you wrote in my GB: Yeah I started to read tolkien's books in middle school, but unfortunately, all the copies available to me were battered and mising pages and etc, so i didnt get to finish reading some of them until a couple of years ago, when all the new copies of the books were released because of the movies. -_- *sigh*
Though, I suppose I should thank the movies' popularity, because i may not have been able to get my hands on "the silmarillion" if not for them.
(don't get me wrong though, i am still a big fan of the movies....except for the fact that they cut out poor tom and goldberry! and hat gimli rides with gandalf to edoras, not legolas...uh...i better leave it at that before this entry gets bigger than it already is...)
I am so sorry for rambling on and on like this ^^;
