hmm...

Nothing much happened between the last time I updated and but I feel like updating so I'll just try to remember anything significant.

A week or so ago I visited my friend's house. I finally got to show him the last dvd to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (and why I think Dio is one of the best villans ever). Afterwards, we played DOA4 for a pretty long while. At first, I was doing horrible but once I got the hang of the countering system and his fighting pattern, I started to some back in a big way. There were several times when the matches came to a close call, it was freakin' exciting! Overall I won about 1/3 of the matches which is pretty good since I don't own DOA4... or an Xbox360. Afterwards, we also played some CvS2 but I won't talk much about it since I lost nearly all of the matches.

A few days later, I decided to upgrade my brother's psp from 2.60 to 3.11. I did it mainly because I wanted to try out the locoroco demos. I downloaded one two of them, but before I played them, I let my mother take a shot at it since she seemed interested in the game when she first saw it. Holy cow... I'm glad I let her play because watching her try to beat the demo was so hilarious. Along with pressing one of the shoulder buttons to tilt the world, she also leaned in the direction she wanted to locoroco to go. If you have access to a psp and the locoroco game or demo, let your parents play it. You're going to laugh your asses off.

What else...? Hmm...

I'm going to check out a few places that are hiring today and see if I can get a job. I think that there's a good chance I'm going to get hired this week. If I get hired, I'll finally have some money to save for the convention in a few months.

Well... that's pretty much it for now.

Dear my...

Well.. this weekend was a bit different for me.

On friday, I went with my brother to the Houston Auto Show. The funny thing is that I wasn't planning on going at all. I joking asked my brother, "So, when are we going?" and he said, "At 3, so hurry up and get ready". I knew that he was serious so I got ready and we left. The reason why I didn't tell my brother that I was kidding about me going was because I wanted to get out and see something different. Who knows? I might see something I like... which I did. The only freebie I got from the auto show was a Scion keychain. Overall, the auto show was pretty good. There weren't a lot of concept cars, which was one of things I wanted to check out most when I found out the show would have some, but that's ok.

On saturday, I went to best buy with my brother and he and I bought some dvds. The only thing I bought was the Fate/Stay Night boxset with vol. 1 and the artbox. So far, I only watched the fist episode. I want to take my time with it so I plan on watching one episode every week, first in japanese and then in english.

Nothing interesting happened besides that so I guess I'll leave it at that for now.

A Voice that Reminds Me of You

It's been quite a while since I last updated... well I guess I should start out with something that kind of caught me off guard.

My brother is getting into anime a bit more (at least in the action genre). At first I decided that maybe he should see the gaara vs. rock lee fight. Then I showed him some of the other important fights like naruto vs. neji, shikamaru vs. temari (I thought it was important), gaara vs. sasuke. After that, he got into it and is now watching every new episode. I'm also showing him some of the old episodes when the group fights against Zabuza and Haku.
But that wasn't what surprised me. The day that the Bleach marathon was on, I was thinking about recoding those episodes to show it to him later. I decided that he probably would brush that off without seeing it so I didn't record the episodes. Fortunately for me, when he was at his girlfriend's house, he saw most of the epidoes and got into that show. Now that he knows the show pretty well, he can finally play my Heat the Soul 3 game.

Let's see... what else?

Just in case anyone doesn't know yet, a bit of info on the english ver. of .hack//GU vol. 2 was released some time ago. The name for the english ver. will be .hack//G.U. vol.2//Reminisce. Nothing yet about the release date but it shouldn't be long now.

One last thing... a few days ago, I got myself into sudoku. It's a pretty great game that everyone should try. It's pretty easy to learn.

Well... that's everything noteworthy that I can remember. Abayo!

Brighter Side
Alright... now to pick up where I left off.

So it was almost the end of October and I was out throwing the trash, minding my own business and I pass my mother who stops me and asks me to water the plants for the next couple of days. I agreed to do it but I asked her why am I doing it and she tells me that she's leaving to go to mexico to take care of my grandma for a couple of days. To put it in detail, there's two aunts and a cousin that live with my grandma and one of my aunts and my cousin are leaving to go around mexico attending some conventions for people that own hair salons and since my other aunt has to work, my grandma will be left alone, which is something my mother will not accept.

Anyways... I asked her how she was traveling and she told me by bus. I then asked her if my sister was going with her and she said she was going alone, in which I decided right there and then that I would go with her. There's no way in hell I'd let my mother travel to mexico by herself, I would be a horrible son if I stand by and do nothing. I told her I'd go with her and she said to go pack my clothes now because we'd be leaving late that night, and we did.

Fortunately, the bus ride over to mexico and to my grandma's house went smoothly. As for the time I spent there... I don't think it was a disaster. I got bit by mosquitos a lot so I spent most of my time in an air conditioned room playing megaman zero 1-4. I did get to see some tv... especially a few episodes of anime in spanish. I saw Prince of Tennis, Get Backers, FMA, Pita-Ten, Tsukikage Ran, Initial D, Hungry Heart-Wild Striker, Vandread, Saikano, and Submarine Super 99. They also showed commercials for Gantz, Noir, Burt Angel, Steel Angel Kurumi, Samurai 7, and other anime but I didn't get a chance to see them.

My aunt, mother, and I went to visit my grandfather's grave on the day of the dead (my granmother couldn't because she isn't in a position to freely walk around). When we finally got to my grandfather's grave, we cleaned up the dirt that was on his grave and we placed new flowers on his grave. We also said a few prayers and after that we walked around and saw some interestign things. While some people visited their respective family members' graves, some had mariachi playing, and one family set up to eat in front of their relative's grave.

Well... that's all I'm going to type for now.

...I think I typed too much...

Gentle Hands
Man, it's been a while since I updated...

Let's see what I should start out with...

Well, I don't remember if I said this before but I've completed Xenosaga 1 & 2. I've started to play Xenosaga 3 but a couple of hours into the game, my ps2 and memory card decide to be jackasses and corrupt my Xenosaga 3 data.

Yeah... that sucked so much! Especially when the events of the game started to pick up.

Anyways, I got so pissed, I decided to put the game away for a few weeks and decided to buy another memory card a few days later. With that memory card, I transferred all my .hack data (infection, mutation, outbreak, and quarantine) and started to play .hack//GU. The game is great and sometimes I found myself wanting to stop playing so I can rest, but kept playing just to see what would happen next in the story. The battle system is a bit better than in previous .hack games, but the one problem that kept bugging me was the fact that there was a barrier when you started fighting, and if you were fighting a large enemy, the game started to slow down. The game slowed down a bit in the final battle, but the enemy wasn't large (I won't say who it is just for the sake of anyone who hasn't played it yet but want to). After beating the game, I got treated to a trailer for .hack//GU vol. 2 and all I got to say is... I want that game to be released right now! I want to see what happens next! I want to see Azure Balmung and Orca in action!

Oh well... I have to wait until next year...

Well, I guess that's it for now. Next update I'll talk about my little unplanned trip to mexico and probably thanksgiving.

Welcome to
Wow... I didn't update for a month. What's wrong with me? Guess I can finally say that I've been busy.

Let me begin with the art school business. So far I'm doing pretty good. I got an A on my first test which is a pretty good start and hopefully I can keep it up.

Also, .hack//G.U. is going to be released tomorrow which is a big deal for me since I am a big .hack fan. I preordered the Limited Edition version of the game so I'll be able to get the Terminal disc and the Haseo figure.

Well... that's all that I can think of right now. Ja ne!

This Machine
Hmm... I don't know what to say about this week except... it's and improvement over the last.

On sunday, I was finally interviewed by the art school and I got in... so once again, I'm a student.

On friday I bought KOF 2006... it was a shame it didn't come with the Another Day DVD. Anyways, the game is an improvement over Maximum Impact.

Finally... my birthday was this past saturday. I got some neat stuff. Shadow the Hedgehog, Shadow of the Colossus, and some pretty cool pants and shirts.

It's kinda late so I guess I'll just leave it at that for now. Sorry for the brief post. Abayo!

Under the Moon
Well... it seems last week was pretty interesting.
I finally bought Xenosaga Ep. 3 along with the artbook. I also bought Xenosaga Ep. 2 two days before the release on Ep. 3. I could go on and play 2 & 3 but I dont want to because I don't own Ep. 1. Yeah...as I've probably said before, I didn't own any of the Xenosaga games before. Right now I have to track down a new copy of Xenosaga Ep. 1 along with the strategy guide for 1 (I already found the strategy guide for 2 and will buy it later on this week). The one problem I have with Xenosaga so far is that one picture for T-elos is being used over and over again in the posters, manuals, guides, and in certain covers of Xenosaga Ep. 3 games. I'm getting tired of it.

Also, I borrowed Dirge of Cerberus on saturday... and I finished it today. Pretty interesting game... I'll buy it when the game gets a price drop later on in the future.

Hm... I guess that's pretty much for now.

Machine Soul 2005
Well...not much to say this time around but I'm still going to update.

A week ago I borrowed a spare cable from a friend to see if I can take my PS2 online, and just a few days ago, I tried it and now I can play games online. The only game I've been playing so far was Metal Gear Online. Man, it is fun. If I can buy this cable from my friend than I know I'd be playing this game a lot. So far the only game I'd play online besides this one is Burnout Revenge. It's a shame the other games I own don't have an online option.

Also, next week Xenosaga Episode 3 will finally be released!

Well... I guess that's it for now.
