Let down.
So, my school made it all the way to state finals in basketball, and we came in second. Boo. That sucks. The referees sucked too, I swear they were getting paid for all the fouls they called.

Other than that, I had a good weekend.
My friend and I went to see a school play, Cotton Patch Gospel, and it was awesome. Think of the story of Jesus played out in modern Georgia/Alabama. It was sweet.

17 in 4 days!

One thing I hate about Alabama: tornado warnings every few weeks.

Thank you, Bishop!
Our bishop gave us a day off, so now we get a 4 day weekend! I shout for joy.

It snowed on Wednesday! Not much, and it melted on the ground, but it was still awesome! Unfortunately, there was also ice. I slipped and landed right on my back on the way to homeroom. Only one guy saw me, so that was good.

I even found a flower in my purse on valentine's day, which was awesome! Of course, the guy who put it there did it out of kindness (and probably pity) but I still like it.

I also got candy. So now I'm going to go eat some Peeps hearts. I hope you all had good Valentine's days and all!

Sooo...
My new favourite teacher, my art teacher, is all upset and reserved-y now because some uberly sensitive person in class found her language "offensive". Does anyone else know how awesome it is to have a teacher that isn't afraid to cuss and let you speak your mind? It's really, really awesome, and now someone had to go and cause a big mess over it.

*is angry*

And for the record, what my teacher said was true- those drawings of hands did look like five penises sprouting from a stump. She was being honest.

Other than that, I'm happy because I managed to pass all of my midterms. (Even though my honors chem teacher had to bump everyone's grade so that no one made lower than a C...)

Now, I'm off to eat cake!

My internet connection is craptastic, and it is pissing me off muchos.

Happy '07!
I spent my new years day eating black-eyed pea soup with cornbread and watching the Cotton Bowl (which Auburn won!). It doesn't get much more southern than that.

Now I'm back in school, and it's dragging already.
In the plus side, I made a B on my honors chem exam, but only because our teacher bumped all the grades so that no one made lower than a C.
Yeah...

Yay! It's the start of another super-awesome-fantastic year!
