Ding Dong, the Fair is Dead!

Heh, very happy about this week's caption battle. (b^.^)b Thanks for usin' my image, SomeGuy! 'Bout time we got some .hack up in here!

Anyway, on to the main attraction.
THE STATE FAIR IS OVER!! Hallelujah!
And... I get payed tomorrow! Double w00t to that, my friends.
I'm very glad it's over. I was seriously tired of talking to people; all the ticket sellers in my lot were at that point. Basically, we were badmouthing people and their stupidity and being all grumpy, and then a car would drive up and we'd be back to "Hello! How are you? Six dollars!"

Yeah, it ended around the right time. Riiiight before I was about to strangle someone. Seriously, I was pretty tired of people saying, "Wow Abby, you're so red, oh my gosh!" or "Get a little sunburned there?"
Oh no, really? I didn't even notice that I was burned when I looked in the mirror this morning! Thank you for pointing it out!

At least I was able to help send everyone off with a nice day by getting my parents to bring pizza. Thing is, it's not like I planned it with them either, I sort of... surprised them by calling them on the last day about it.
All I can say is my mom is awesome. She brought the pizza AND some soda. Everyone in my lot loves her now; my leader was saying, "Your mom is a doll!"

And so it ended. I got some people's numbers; hopefully this time around I'll actually keep in contact with them.
Now I'm just relaxing at home, waiting for my sunburns to heal. They're pretty bad, my hands have blistered even. Luckily, mother dear gave me some rosebud salve that's been working quite well, so hopes are still high.

Tomorrow then, I shall go and visit you all. It's been quite some time since I've gone and done that. >.> Eheh...
